A while back I ordered some suspension components like bilstien 5100s and skyjacker springs for my ranger. I worked directly with the manager Jorge. I'm new to trucks and he walked me through plenty of options and took a look at my original set up to ensure we got the right components (mine had a very old lift kit already installed). My old shocks were so old they were superseded YEARS ago! These guys typically work on significantly nicer vehicles than mine but I still got great service regardless. Took my truck here last year for alignment. Asked the shop to mount my shock reservoirs and tighten shock mounts, upper control arms, and lower control arms. I believe the lower control arms would be tightened because that is part of how alignment is adjusted with the Raptors. On top of the alignment, they tried charging me 1 hour of labor for each individual task. So what went from $240 alignment turned to $1100 bill. Completely irrational considering the added requests were maybe 30 min worth of labor. They tried charging me to insert a heim joint that they sold me the wrong part for originally so I couldn't insert myself. So after a long argument we settled around $700. Still ridiculous. Recently took my truck to another shop to get my alignment done again. The shop owner informed me that all my lower control arm bolts were loose. I'll never take my truck back to OFW again. I'll warn everyone to stay away. Horrible business read more

I ordered a new mount for my Xterra ARB bumper from Off-Road Warehouse two weeks ago (Bumper Mounting Kit 6172557). At the time of purchase, the item was listed on their website as available for immediate shipment. After not receiving any updates for more than a week, I made several attempts to check on the status of my order. On two separate occasions, I was told that the order was being processed and that someone would get back to me shortly with an estimated shipping timeline. No one ever followed up. Today, I called again. When the customer service representative offered to contact the supplier and email me an update, I expressed my frustration, explaining that I had already been given the same assurance twice without any follow-up. To his credit, he contacted the supplier while I was on hold and finally discovered that the item was actually backordered, with an estimated shipping delay of three to five months. This information should have been communicated from the beginning. Instead, I spent two weeks chasing updates and repeatedly receiving inaccurate information. What a waste of time. I requested a refund and hope that process will be handled more efficiently than the order itself. read more

What a joke...I ordered a switch mounting bracket on 5/23/25 online for store pickup (shipping to my house was almost as much as the part). In the confirmation email it stated I should be contacted by someone within 1-2 business days, being that it was a Friday, and the following Monday was a holiday, I gave them some time. When I hadn't heard from anyone by Thursday 5/29/25 I called the store. After a brief hold I spoke with an employee who took down my email address and assured me that I would be contacted the following day with some information regarding my order. The following day, they made no attempt to contact me. Fast forward to the following Monday, 6/2/25, still hadn't heard from them, so I called again. This time I was placed on hold for about 10 mins and told I was the next customer in line. An employee came back on and asked to take down my phone number to call me back so I didn't have to sit on hold. A full 2 hours later I finally got a call back! This time, the employee told me that he would email the supplier and get back to me. The next day, 6/3/25, I called again after not hearing back from them, and due to a lack of confidence that they would even get back to me. This time, an employee put me on hold and actually called the supplier (was this an option the whole time?) I was told that the item was coming out of Washington, and provided with a tracking number, and that the item would be in the store by Friday, 6/6/25, a whole 14 days after the order was placed. I understand that sometimes items are manufactured to order, or out of stock, and I am unaware if that was the case here, but the key to ORW's failure here is a negligent lack of communication. An email confirming shipping or status, or a simple phone call could have avoided the confusion and frustration that I faced trying to figure out where the part was, and when I could expect it. Needless to say, I cancelled my order, which was realistically the smoothest part of my entire experience with this company. read more

ORW did a huge update 25 years ago on my then new Wrangler, suspension, rails, racks, everything. She's old but still gets compliments. Now at 73, I bought a new pink Jeep. Needed side steps that would be good quality and accommodate my disabled dog. Garret was amazing, he literally zeroed in on the perfect set in a minute. Got them installed yesterday and love them. I had only one issue with the shop and it was not thier fault, it was a bad part and ORW immediately replaced the part free of charge. Originally quoted me for tie rod ends on my jeep, left a deposit and they called me a few hours after i dropped it off telling me the tie rod ends were just fine and it only needed something tightened in the rear suspension. Six months ago I bought a new 2022 Trail Boss to replace my lifted 2010 Silverado. I love the TB, but as popularity grew, I noticed seeing a lot more of them. I decided to finally do something to set mine apart from the rest, so headed to ORW. I always wanted bronze Method MR312's on my old truck, so I went in already knowing what I wanted. Enrique addressed what I wanted and put a quote together very quickly to include the rims and new tires since my factory ones were pretty loud on the freeway. I can only speak to online orders that you ship to store for pick up; I would steer clear. Called in before ordering online, was given two day estimate for it to be ready for pick up so I make online order. Four days later I call in and am given no update (had to cancel my appointment with my mechanic). Following week I call back and am told they will call manufacture then call me back; no call back. Today, call in to cancel order because I bought and received already from somewhere else. Am told part is in which I find weird because I never got a call or email indicating this. Asked for the refund and am told I need to read them my credit card number. Couldn't do that because I was driving. Was told they would contact IT and call me back; still waiting for that call.... Strange a company of this size wouldn't have any automated email alerts to let you know part is ready for pick up. Can't believe they just charged me $165 for an oil change. Markup was 100% over retail for the oil and filter (for example they charged me $56 for 5 qts of Mobil 1 synthetic and same oil is $27 at Walmart). ORW probably gets it for even less than that buying wholesale! They then charged an hour for labor at $70 when an oil change takes half an hour tops. Even the dealer looks like a steal for an oil change. My last oil change at the Toyota Dealer was $68...10 months ago. I know there has been inflation but not 3x the cost. Loved the service I got at a very fair price for my tires and lift so I took the salespersons advice and went to them for my next oil change...big mistake. Stay away for routine maintenance. read more

When they installed my new front bumper they did not connect the plastic wheel well back to the new bumper therefore the first time I went down the freeway the plastic wheel Wells tore free and went up against the tires and destroyed the front wheel wells. LONG STORY SHORT: Inattentive, slow, overpriced and downright SHADY. FULL STORY: After my repeated follow up calls over a several week period (they don't return calls as promised) to finally schedule a shock rebuild, they pushed my appointment TWICE. I sent them photos and went over several times exactly what I needed. Long story short, I finally dropped my truck off and got a rental car. They didn't do any work on it - had not ordered the correct parts and instead, they submitted a second invoice to me for an additional $2k to replace ONE knuckle on a Tundra. The rep told me it was an aluminum knuckle and it was wearing out. I immediately questioned that it was aluminum and called BS on the whole thing. The knuckle has a little rust on it so if he had even so much as looked at it, he'd know it's not aluminum. When I got home, I visually inspected the knuckle which was not worn out and the cotter pins had been pulled from the castle nut - setting me up for disaster because I wanted my truck back from them without their outrageous, incredulous and down right fake estimate and claim. Were they trying to kill me? WTF. SUMMARY: AVOID AT ALL COSTS. read more
