thisplace is shitty/predatory. Ireceived here was to much. i have to say something. Christian Hernandez i came to him because i was offered a free oil change and an inspection for a recall on my Nessian Sentra. I said sure will it take long they said not really. Great. So on my day off I took it in and Christian Hernandez said about half a day (it was 730am I arrived half an hour ealry) I said okay and they gave me a lift home. 9am rolls by and they tell me all these things they want to upsell me. I said no they pressure me over email I say fine air filter but that's it 66 bucks. Now I have plans to go pick up my wife around 9 pm so I call at 5 to get an update (disconnected) 6 answering machine because they are closed (bull) so they finally get back to me to change a AIR FILTER and do an INSPECTION for a recall a DAY LATER my half a day turned into 24 hours. I tell ChHRISTIAN HERNANDEZ hay man I'm mad this sucks I had for and I'm going to be late can you make this right? He lifts me over and dose JACK SHIT. They only give a fuck when taking your money. We bring our car in annually for service (low miles). Each time we walk with a list of suggestions. Some are correct but this last time was too much. I guess they work off a checklist and not the car in front of them. We were told the the car needed a new cabin filter we told them we could do that ourselves. I went out to try to buy a cabin filter with no luck. Came home and searched the internet and found my car does not have a cabin filter. So be careful and look into their suggestions. read more

I purchased a 2023 Nissan pathfinder 2 month ago and it recently started to make a noise on the passenger side, Since car is still under warranty Ii took to Mossy Oceanside to get it inspected at the service department, My car was taken and I was provided a car rental for the time being. The service advisor called me the same day to advise me that they had found the issue it was the strut bearing in the suspension that was faulty/ defective from the manufacture. (Red flag --- Wasn't the car suppose to be fully inspected )But they where going to order the part and call me when my car was ready. Three days later the service advisor called me to let me know the parts where on back order and I needed to bring the rental back and pick up my car since mossy Nissan will not pay for my rental while they where waiting for the part to come in. I was a bit upset and I didn't not want to be driving my children around in my car knowing parts are faulty and defective . I did express this to the service advisor and he replied with its safe to drive and Mossy will not cover your rental if you want to pay out of pocket your are welcome to, When asking when the part was going to come in I was told it was on back order so it could take 1-2 weeks he wasn't really sure. Upon picking up my car it was so dirty no courtesy wash was done and the car had ants all around the bottom which than i found them inside the car. I took a video I was so mad cause that is not how i gave them my car again I was in complete shock the way my car was returned to me .I had to take my car to get a full detail cause I have small kids and I cant have ants biting myself. Im not impressed with the customer service, the way they accommodate you for issues that are not your fault or care for my vehicle that was presented to me from mossy Oceanside. Upon buying the vehicle it should have been inspected and sold to be at 100 percent non defective. Now I'm having to drive a car and transport my children in it with a faulty defective suspension and secondly a car full of ants that's is a huge red flag and safety concern for myself and my children Such a same cause I have purchased 3 cars from Mossy but I don't think I will be continue purchasing or giving recommendation to any one else due to this experience read more

My poor two 007 Waltima has been here more than a car should and over the years I've seen Service advisors come and go and some be promoted. Something of note here is that unlike the front of the house (Sales) there is very little turnover here. 8 years later I think it's about time I review the service center. In the summer of 07 I bought my Altima and like all brand new cars comes with services like oil changes, tire rotation, fluid top offs, etc. That year I brought it twice for regular maintenance. I was young, in love with my new car and though I was putting on miles to Irvine, it was good to me. 2008-2011 I would come here less frequently as the service periods came and went, coverages expired, warranties as well. Still the Waltima ran like a champ. Aside from my outdoor/offroad rompings it was a good car and the service here was excellent, still treated like a new customer and yes they remembered me. 1 recall (cat converter). I am no longer bring my car here for service, only repairs. I do all my own maintenance now. 2012-2013. Warranties are gone, transmission has gone out (131K which for 1st gen CVT was common). 2nd recall (cat converter again). Repairs are quick and diagnosed easily and properly, the car is mostly at fault not the service. 2014-present. Here for a transmission fluid coolant issue. Prices are treated like it's a new car (always on the upsell), not an old car with 230K on it. 3rd transmission due to shit design (supposedly fixed in 2nd gen CVT and 2nd gen fluid coolant system) Carlos Lona is now Service Supervisor and Rick Davis is still trucking along. Both guys are friendly and usually easy to get in contact with for the past 5 years. Great relationships with the technicians and have offering both discounts and sound advice. With a full line up of cars the parts department has good stock, but not much for their displays. Prices are high due to mostly approved aftermarket parts. Who knew the versa had so many non factory accessory options. I can understand the Altima their most common car. As with many of their cars and parts they seem very plasticky. Looking back on my history here has made me re-evaluate my dealings with the sales side and my updated review is pending. read more

Pancho has helped me from the very start with my 2015 Nissan Sentra . I've only had this car since 2016 and have had multiple problems with the transmission. The car itself is definitely not 5 stars but his service is! He had my entire transmission rebuilt and even made sure I got a rental car ! From the beginning to end, the staff is always professional, courteous & helpful. I called today to get an oil change on my Nissan Frontier. They had an opening! The work is quick, inspect the engine & they wash your vehicle. Excellent service! Another plus, you can get tokens for the vending machines. Normal amenities- free coffee, shuttle service, nice waiting room with a TV & WiFi. The great thing for me is that accept e-coupons. But,......wether you get your car serviced here or not, the detailing crew is absolutely one of the best! They will literally remove seats to clean in your crack. I work for a supplement distributor so the outside of my car is wrapped with graphics. They adjusted my pricing since I couldn't get the full outside detail. I'm standing at Nissan in their service area. Waiting again. This time because I want to see a manager. My husband made an appointment for my car to come in because there was another recall notice. These Nissans are always having recall notices. My husband said they said it would be quick. I had my appointment at seven this morning, and my service manager didn't bother to show up for 15 minutes after everybody else's service managers had shown up. The late guy was Carlos Sandoval. The other service managers were looking for him. They said he was working on paperwork. When he came down to see me he told me he was up taking a shit. Technically yes that is paperwork but that's a lie, he wasn't at his job when his customers were waiting for him. I was told that I had to drop the car off and leave it there all day long. I was extremely angry for not being told this. I was told I would get a loaner car. That was a nightmare now they're charging me for a rental car. They have refused to fax or or text or email me any other service that is required on my car. They said they sent it twice. They never did. They said they sent it to my husband. They never did. I've asked for the manager. When I did, he said he called for them. He did not because I was standing in front of him and he never picked up the phone call. He finally got up and left. He said he spoke to the manager. He said she would be right over. I waited another 10 to 15 minutes. I asked one of the other service guys who appeared to know what he was doing, and he said the service manager was in a meeting. I went back to Carlos and said are you expecting me to wait around another hour until he's out of his meeting? And he said no I just spoke to her. I proceeded to go ask someone else who the she is, and they said that's the assistant manager but she left to go get a prescription. So apparently Carlos expected me to stand around for another hour. I told him to get my car. It was supposed to be no charge because they were fixing a recall notice. When I went to return the loaner car, they told me I owe them 50 bucks because it was a rental not a loaner. I told them this is for a recall on their crappy car, why do I have to pay for their mistake? I have repeatedly asked to speak to a manager or somebody who will resolve the situation and not charge their former customers a rental fee when they are given a loaner on a recall!!!!! If this is how Nissan Service operates, I will never buy another Nissan again. Sorry Codi, I know you worked on getting an offer on my car together. You can thank Carlos for losing your revenue. I hope your managers call before I see my recourse with the credit card company. I did indicate that I return the car, and I have to pay the fee out of duress. I would highly recommend that people use the voice recording feature on their phones when communicating with the service department at Nissan in case you need it for legal action. Day two. Nobody has bothered to return any of the messages that I left. I requested four different people have management call me. Nobody's called. To make matters worse, this morning my car wouldn't work. This has been a complete nightmare. I refuse to ever buy a Nissan again if I have to deal with incompetent liars like the ones here. read more

Terrible. Super dishonest which is sad coming from a dealership servicing center. They'll charge you $140 for codes that you can get at a garage for free. The whole process takes about one minute, they charge $140, and then they don't actually repair the issue. Please don't let them scam you. Long story short, they tried to sell me a new car battery because mine had a normal amount of corrosion on it for it's age. Decided to save my $160 since my battery was less than a year old, took it to a mechanic to properly clean the battery instead. Problem solved, check engine light went off on it's own, and I will never return to Nissan. read more

Not a fan, worked for this company in different capacities for more than 6 years and have a lot of inside info/stories on how they have done client (both on the service and sales) side wrong. Because we leased an Infiniti here, well, we're kind of handcuffed on where we can service the car....service advisor was "double booked" of course, so had to wait a few minutes, (I'm writing this as I go over the issue with the car). Service advisor is courteous and professional. The clerk who did the paperwork for the "loaner" was nice; however, when asked to sign the "loaner" agreement, I wanted to read the clauses she was asking me to initial, but she was over talking me while I was trying to read......let me read what I'm signing.....wish I could give this company more stars......but I know we are just a number to them....and so they are the same to us... read more

Traveling on our honey moon we experienced a brake sensor issue, after being towed there we were told it may be a day or two till we could be seen due to short notice and no appointment, however upon hearing we were on the honeymoon the guys did everything they could to get us our car that day. I'm all done with this place. The first time I went there they put the wrong oil in the car. I drove back and asked them to fix it. Some bald guy who works there told me that Nissan had changed their recommended oil since they printed the manual. I called Mossy Escondido and they told me that was total BS. When I told them it was Mossy Oceanside that told me, they got pretty quiet. I called the service manager and told me to come in and have it changed to the right oil. About a year later, guess what, wrong oil again. How come it's always the wrong oil, cheaper oil, not the full synthetic I paid for. They changed it again to the correct oil without making up a fantastic story about how they didn't screw up. A month or so ago I had an appointment to get recalls taken care of: software that damages the engine, and fixing a hood latch that had already been recalled but didn't work. A few days before my appointment they call me and say they are not staffed for recalls. I asked "ever?" She said no they would never do recalls again. Ok, so you sell cars but you won't support them if you have to pay for it? Why would I ever buy a car there then? Don't like this place. Worst customer service ever. Brought car for to check for an "extended warranty" issue and they said they have to diagnose and charge me $160 if it turns out the issue is different. The service advisor Kris Karr is also very rude about it when I said it's silly that I have to spend that much for the diagnosis. She went on about who's going to pay the technicians, etc, etc and that it is a business, etc, etc. Worst customer service I have ever encountered in how they deal with customers. I will not only never come to this dealership for service, I would never ever consider getting a car from them ever. Follow up showed they didn't ever inspect the problem but just guessed. Claimed I needed over $800 in parts and labor for something that was not broken. It was a stressful situation to find out I had a nail in the wall of my tire and needed a new tire! While trying to register my 2015 Nissan Pathfinder, the DMV told me there was an emissions recall on it, so I couldn't register it. I tried making an appointment at Mossy Nissan in Oceanside, but they don't have an opening for 2+ weeks! And this isn't the first time I've been told to wait weeks for a service appointment at this location, but I keep trying because it's the closest one to me, plus it's where I bought the car. I've never been able to take it here for service though, because the wait time for appointments is absurd. read more
