On our most recent visit, he came outside again, helped us locate the fuse boxes, and helped determine which fuse we needed. It is rare to encounter someone who is so professional and sincerely eager to help customers. David went above and beyond during both visits and made the entire process much easier. They work on old cars which my Corolla wagon is 1995, and they replaced a valve cover gasket for me for $150 last year. Later, the owner Andy (aka AJ) helped me find a used 22R engine for my 1982 Toyota Sunrader RV, and later, a hood. Both those were located in LA. Then after I bought the motor, Andy bought my no good 22R engine that his neighbor took out. My hood got all rusted out from being exposed to the ocean dew for only a year. Andy looked up something for me on ChatGPT, which I at that time last year, never heard of. Now I can thank Andy for introducing me to ChaptGPT, because I chat with Chat every single day. Andy also introduced me to a "really cheap, REALLY cheap!" (those are Andy's exact words) mechanic across the street that put in the used 22R motor I bought for $850 labor. This place is a poor excuse of a off road fabrication shop!!! On September 1st, 2014 I dropped off…read moremy Chevy s10 to get a long travel kit installed. We agreed on them deleting my abs system, install upper and lower control arms, coilovers, fabricating upper control arm mounts, fabricating shock hoops and mounting bump stops. The quoted me $2000-$2500 for all the work/material. They also told me it would be done in 2-3 weeks. Almost 4 and a half weeks later I got my truck back to find out what a hack job was done to it. All my brake lines are clearly bent using whoevers thumbs. My driver side Coilover binds not only on the upper control arm but also on the shock hoop and to top it of one of my tie rod bungs was only welded about 1/4-1/2 of the way around. When I went to pick up the truck justin, the owner, tried charging me almost $1000 more then the estimate I received when I dropped it off. Which I might have been okay with if everything was done correctly but it wasn't. And they never even mounted the bump stops. When I took the truck back in to ask what was going on with the binding of the Coilover justin told me that was the only way it could be done unless I change my whole brake setup which he kindly offered to do for a large price. Number one he's wrong about that being the only way it could work and second I called 4 times to try and figure out when I could drop the truck off to get my brake setup done and the suspension cycling correctly and SAFELY but never received a call back when they "figured out their schedule". I'm currently looking into taking them to small claims court. Let my mistake be a lesson you don't have to learn. Bottom line, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!
