Todd was such an incredible person and I can't say enough good things about him. My girlfriend and I were on a roadtrip about 3 hours from home when our car didn't start. We were told that the battery was incredibly corroded and we had to go get it and the battery terminal replaced ASAP. Todd went completely out of his way to help us for over an hour, show us kindness, and help us get our battery switched out even though he didn't have to. After he finished we tried to tip him or give him something in order to show our gratitude but he didn't accept anything. So thankful people like Todd exist! We have always found employees at O'Riley to be helpful and pleasant through out the country on our travels. This is the exception. The man that "helped" us was not helpful and in fact down right rude. I have never had that attitude from an employee of O'Riley, or in general--especially when we are talking about someone with many decades of life behind them and not a teenager. read more

I have been going to this store for over thirty years going back to when it was Kragen. Every time I get the hunched over old guy that is said to be the manager he is very rude and has a bad attitude. He has supplied me with erroneous parts on multiple occasions. He is not willing to take the time to see if the part removed was correct part installed previously. Tom, Willie and the guy with red hair are good to deal with and I always get the correct replacement from them however the tall hunched over guy with black glasses always provides a piz poor experience. Myself and the people I work with have purchased many thousands of dollars worth of items from this location over the past thirty years however I have been searching other sources and avoiding this store for a while since I have found better service and prices for some items elsewhere. Is this guy really the face of the management team for this company??? Pretty poor business practice. Management needs to make changes at this spring st store! I see other reviews that stated they encountered the same experience at this store with the same guy. Really hard to believe management keeps him on! I have never been treated this way at any other parts stores that we have accounts at or otherwise. I will continue to steer my clients away from this store as much as possible until the proper adjustments are made here. Todd is an incredible human being. He helped me when my car broke down in front of his shop. My battery had died and was extremely eroded. Todd took the time to get my car running and help me out as much as he could and I'll forever remember this. He went out of his way to do as much as he could even though he did not have to. Hard to find kind souls like this anymore. A true gem. After he provided us with all the help, we kept urging to Venmo him or give him money for his help, but he refused. Went to get headlight bulbs and wipers for my wife's car. 65.00 for 2 bulbs 28 dollars for wiper blades. I got the exact same manufacturer bulbs and wipers for 11 bucks plus 7 dollars shipping. Got em 2 days later. The people that work there are helpful and nice so nothing against them as they don't set the prices It's pricing like this that pushes us to go online and not shop local. read more

Walked in for wiper blades. The gentleman who helped me was very friendly. When I mentioned how hard is it to replace them? He didn't even skip a beat, just walked from around the register and said which car, and swapped them right out in the parking lot! Was so thankful! I will for sure be going back. I come here once in a while for my auto parts needs. With so many choices in Paso Robles for auto parts sometimes you have to look for the best deals. O'Reilly Auto Parts usually is the best one to go to. The staff there is always on top of things trying to help you out. The guy who helped me was very attentive. He answered my questions and also got me signed up for the rewards points system they use there. It took a few extra minutes to do that but he took the time and didn't just rush me out the door. That's a big thing for me. Good customer service. And very helpful too! I'm glad I decided to stop in. I will be back. read more

The key fob for my 2009 Prius needed a new battery, so I went to O'Reilly on Spring Street in Paso. William was extraordinary. Since it was such an old car, the old key fob was difficult to take apart. He patiently disassembled it and put in a new battery. A short time later, I dropped the fob in my driveway and it no longer worked. Back to O'Reilly. William tried to fix it, but it no longer worked. So I took the second fob--also dead battery--in. Yep, he put in another new one. Some places, I get the sense that the employees are inwardly rolling their eyes. Not at O'Reilly. Absolutely first rate. read more
