I want to thank the guys who helped me with my car on 9/13/21. Unfortunately I can't remember their…read morenames but I can tell you I was there around 8:00-8:30 pm. I had went to a different business earlier in the day because my headlights went out. At the different business we tried a new bulb but that didn't work so he said it had to be a fuse but then refused to help me any further. Long story short after purchasing new fuses at a separate Advanced auto, still no luck. Worried it was going to get dark soon I went to the Advanced Auto closer to me on 38th st to return the fuses. The guys listened to my story about trying both a bulb and a fuse. They went above and beyond working with me for at least an hour trying to solve the problem. Unfortunately we never figured out the issue so I ended up going to a mechanic today. Turns out it was in fact both bulbs had burned out!! And although it turned out to be the bulbs after all, the guys listened to me when I said I had already tried that which is why we didn't check the bulbs a second time. They didn't push anything on me and actually paid attention to what I said I had already tried, and as a female that is so very much appreciated! Plus they worked effortlessly trying to help me solve the problem! They reminded me why I usually always go to Advanced Auto first! I had only went to the other business first because I commute to and from work and it was on my way home. Thank you thank you, for going out of your way to listen to me and trying your best to help!

Recently went to Falls Park Tire and Auto on a local recommendation to replace two rear calipers on…read moremy Honda. When I picked up the vehicle the two calipers looked drastically different from each other. One shiny silver. The other charcoal black/grey. Drove it locally for less than a day and rust appeared all over the one dark colored caliper. When I called to let them know they said bring it back in and we will check it out. So I had to return within 48 hours of spending $437 for two calipers I was told were purchased from Auto Zone. They did replace it - as a courtesy as I was "concerned" about rust on a brand new part. And yep, it's not the same color either. So I drove by Auto Zone and was told the different colored caliper in no way came from them. So, not sure if it's manufactured or what but I didn't expect to pay for unmatching calipers and cannot trust where the product came from. Hopefully this one works well and doesn't rust unexpectedly. I am surprised by my experience given all the reviews, but I have to share my experience. See photos of "new" caliper with rust and the final two calipers with drastically different finish claimed to be from Auto Zone.

Bought a full set of remolded (bead to bead retreaded tires) they had no problem or complaints…read moreabout mounting and balancing them for me. I also needed them to install my new TPMS sensors. They had no problem agreeing when I suggested my new tires needed static balanced instead of dynamically, and they forewarned me that their computer may not be able to setup my TPMS (I told them if they couldn't I'll but the equipment later to do it) but they definitely got the sensors activated, about three miles down the road all sensors are reading. So I feel they are great to work with and what it cost for mounting balancing tires I didn't even buy from them. Thumbs Up Thank you guys, as easy as you are to work with I'm gonna have my tires done here from now on.

The first 2 places I called could not get my truck in for over a week so I called this shop since…read moreit's the closest to my house, for convenience and they were able to get me in the next day. I contacted them through the online appointment request form, specifying that I knew I had a fuel leak. Then, I called after they had my truck over 24 hours and had not heard from them, just to see if they got to it yet. They said it was done early that morning then listed off about a dozen problems that needed fixed for thousands of dollars. I knew this already from a different shop I took my old truck to some time ago. Yes, it needs work all the time. For the fuel issue they wanted about $800. I told them I'd just need to pick it up and come back another time. I don't have an extra $800. So I go in and I'm told the bill is $150.92. I said, oh did they do something?? In quite a tone I was told, "yeah, he looked at it!" Wow, I never asked for anyone to look over the entire truck. As I said, I knew my current problem, told them what I needed looked at, and did not need anything else looked over! I've NEVER been charged anything close to that, if anything at all, at any other shop! So I took it to a guy who works out of his garage at home and had him look at my truck and their big list. Immediately, one "issue" they emphasized needing to be done "TODAY" was not even an issue! I feel like it will be pointless to try and get even some of my $ back so I'm just telling others not to go there! Anyone I mentioned them to had nothing good to say. I didn't know it wasn't a good place to go. Live and learn.
