My very old John deer was struggling. Brought it in. Within a few days got multiple follow ups from a friendly tech with bad news. The 20 year old mower has died. Went to the store on a Saturday and was immediately greeted and a knowledgeable guy, Bryan walked me thru all the cool features of a new mower and bought it on the spot. They do all the warranty paperwork and within minutes I was out the door with a new one. Bryan even took the time to make it especially special for my little boy. Fantastic service. Very knowledgeable. Purchased my battery powered Combi-head by STIHL from there. Works with my blower, hedge trimmer, tiller, pole saw chain saw, edger, and string trimmer. Much cheaper to purchase one STIHL combi-head and the "bare accessories" (attachments) and cuts down on storage space in the garage. The STIHL battery system is SO MUCH NICER than the STIHL gas/oil engine system (and much quieter also). read more

I recently had my John Deere lawn LA-110 tractor serviced by Reynolds Farm Equipment in Fishers. This was my first time to use the Elite Service where they pick up the unit, perform the service, and then return the unit to you. I used the on-line service request form to set this up. Every step along the way was excellent! They did as promised, with excellent communication for each step. They performed routine service, and then contacted me when they found an item outside the routine service (change a valve cover gasket). They even had a system where I could check progress of the service along the way. The service was completed in a timely manner and the unit delivered back to my garage. Each Reynolds employee I had contact with was very professional and extremely courteous. I would highly recommend using this for your lawn care equipment. read more

Since they are authorized to sell John Deere and Stihl products you can shop at one place for all of your home and commercial needs. I recommend visiting each manufacturers website for any promotions and Reynolds too before going on so that you do not miss out on maintenance or financing promotions. If you get your financing online before going in, be sure to have your information for the back office staff to ease locating your account information. Since the products are rated high on reliability and performance, pricing is universal across dealers and not inexpensive but you do get what you pay for in these type of products so the upfront investment is worth it. Also, sales people have been helpful and friendly, and service quickly resolved an issue with starting a brand new chainsaw. They did not try to upsell during the buying process but assessed our needs to make recommendations. If you are a small engine equipment fan, you can quickly spend a boatload of $$$$. Due to the pandemic, getting a Stihl chainsaws is a challenge. We had another model in mind that we wanted but with no ETA on replenishment, we reassessed our needs and purchased a different model. Kind of bummed they did not have what I wanted, but that is no fault of Reynolds and we did save some $. Saturday they close early so try out your new equipment early on Saturday if you have to do work on the weekends so you can get help, otherwise you will have to wait until Monday. The roundabout is completed going so travel time is more efficient now. read more

Word of caution: I tried to get my riding lawn mower fixed by Reynolds Farm Equipment up in Fishers on 37. They offered to come pick up my riding lawn mower and call me with an estimate before any work would be done. They picked it up and 4 weeks passed. In the interim, I called 5 times and they said they would call me back. They never called. Today my brother had a vehicle and we wert to just pick it up (not fixed) because they had kidnapped my lawn mower for long enough. They said it was done and sorta fixed it. They charged me and wouldn't give me the lawn mower unless I paid. Not a good look Reynolds and not how I do business. Would NOT recommend! read more

Dude. Christmas lights, dude! I'm writing this review in mid-spring, but just thinking about the lights display at Reynolds is making me want Christmastime to come quickly. We've been visiting Reynolds for their lights display ever since we moved to Indiana, which hasn't been but two years, but it has already established itself as a holiday tradition. Also, it's free, so that makes it even better. For maximal light-enjoying experience, there is one rule you should obey: 1. Turn your lights off when you enter the long line of cars. That way the people around you can experience the lights without your headlights mucking up the show. It's nice to visit with young children, because kids always get a kick out of Christmas lights. Shoot -- adults get a kick out of Christmas lights too, let's not lie. It's fun to point out the different scenes and compare our favorites. A free Christmas lights display, 24 years strong. I know people who travel from Muncie and beyond just to drive through the Reynolds Light Display, open from Thanksgiving to New Year's Day off of I-69/SR37 just north of 116th Street in Fishers. It certainly lights up the night when driving past - can't miss it! I went on a weeknight and there wasn't much traffic, which allowed us to drive through a few times. I would say without much traffic and at 5mph, it takes 5-7 minutes to drive through. But it is jam-packed with lights on both sides, so if you can, I recommend driving through at least 2X to soak it all in. It's a free light display, but a few nights in December a local food pantry collects donations. read more

FYI, This was the Arcadia location. My Honda mower was not starting. I borrowed my neighbors and the outer cover on the pull cord ripped, pulled down into the mower and you could no longer pull the starter. Friday 6/12/2020 took both mowers in. Called on wed 6/17 to ask when they would be done, not pushing at all, just curious so I could plan. I left VM. Never got a call back. Called on Friday 6/19 and Hope said they were done and would be delivered. They were delivered. Both were very clean, so they had been washed. As the guy was getting ready to pull out I tried to start neighbor's as it did not look like a new cord. It was not. It would not pull. Second pull it broke. I chased down the guy and got it put back on. I should have checked mine before he left but I did not. A bit later I tied to start mine and it would not run. So neither had been fixed in any way, only washed. No word the next week until I called. 6/23 I called and Hope was out. I got another manager and they took care of it - got me neighbors' mower delivered and fixed. Took mine to work on. No word that week or next. I called on Wed 7/1 and talked to hope. She said it is fixed and would be delivered on 7/2. It never came, never got a call. So I called on Mon 7/6 and hope said it was waiting on a gasket. Did not hear back. I called and left VM on Monday 7/13 asking what was going on - and asking if I could just come to get my unfixed mower to take somewhere else. I got a call back that day saying it needed a choke and it was on order. Finally, on Friday 7/17, I was told it was done. On Monday 7/20 I picked it up. I was charged full price of both repair and no apology was offered by anyone. In fact, I never once got an apology for all this. I figure 2 weeks is fair to fix a choke on a mower in late June/early July (In May 3 or 4 weeks is probably fair). I was without a mower for 5 weeks. read more

They have the best Christmas light display! It's totally worth a little bit of a drive to go and check out. So many different displays set up but my favorite was the manager scene and the abominable snowman! Reynolds gets props for the Christmas displaying honoring the military and our Veterans as well. We went on Christmas Eve and the police were patrolling the intersection for easing drivers into and out of the entrance. It wasn't too busy when we went so we had no wait to view the lights. The path is simple and takes you around the displays, you don't leave your car and at the end you have an option of making a donation if you want. read more

Reynolds is a supplier of tractors, lawn equipment, etc. located in Fishers. I haven't been these but up north they do larger sales (I believe) of combines, etc. Most recently I have come to rely on them for parts and service of my Stihl lawn equipment. I needed some replacement parts and the delivery was prompt and service was good. They are (probably) more well known in Fishers for the comprhensive Christmas light display that is visible from I69. We have availed ourselves of this free display many times, and over the years the traffic thru there has gotten ridiculous. Nice place for your home lawn needs, or maybe a new combine if you are in the market. read more

Went into Reynolds today to buy a Stihl Leaf Blower. Saw them nicely displayed on the back wall and made my way over to that area. Looked around and held a few, checked out the specs while fully expecting a salesperson to emerge and greet me. Never happened, I could have probably walked out with a couple blowers under each arm and no one would have noticed. So, off to Mcgavics Outdoor Power I went in Noblesville, I was welcomed there and greeted properly by a salesman who was more than willing to educate me and answer questions. Bought a Stihl BG86 blower and couldn't be happier, things like this happen for a reason. Glad it did! read more

Can't speak to the actual farm equipment, as a combine would be overkill for my tiny plot of land. But the light show is great! Advice: If possible go early (5:30ish) on a weeknight. We tried going on a Saturday and traffic was absolutely brutal. We then tried the next night and had no problems at all. Also, they were collecting for a food pantry at the end of the drive, so make sure you have some $$ with you to help a great cause. read more

Had a john Deere picked up from my home for simple maintenance you know all the things your owners book suggests doing before summer, and was told 3 weeks for turn around. Ok i thought no big deal its spring and i know they must be busy. when the driver arrived i asked him how much it would be and he said 85$, again i thought that was a bit high as getting my car serviced at this level of complexity was about 40$ but again i thought they are picking it up and returning it so i said ok. I call two weeks later to find out the status on the off chance it was done they say another week or two, again fine i was expecting as much. the service manager then informs me that the work for simple service (lube, one spark-plug, filters, and blade sharpening would be 229$! i then told him about the aforementioned 85$ and he informed me that was only for pickup, so all in all it would be 314$. Now i am assuming this is regular price for this service but I'm writing this post to warn anyone that is thinking of using reynolds that you can literally pay someone to cut your grass for almost 3 seasons and still take a family of 4 to the movies for what they charge. run away, fast. had i know the cost before hand i probably would have laughed at them. ohh and just a side note to have my car serviced for its 100,000 mile maintenance was a grand total of 335$ and included a transmission flush and tire rotation as well as everything reynolds was going to do minus the blade sharpening but new blades for my model are 21$ in the end i had to pay the guy 85$ just to have the guy return my lawn mower to me without any work being done. there is no list of prices available on their website for a common service such as this and i feel i was mislead by the driver who picked up my mower. i learned my lesson and found a new and interesting way to light 85$ on fire. read more

Wow, worst customer service experience I've ever had. Hands down, no joke. I mean I've had some bad customer service experiences in the past and none of them even compare to what happened to me at Reynolds. I could write a novel right now about my experience, but I won't. I'll try to sum it up the best I can. I had them pick up my riding lawn mower, to simply service it, in late Winter so that it would be ready by early Spring. They told me they were really backed up and said it would be 4 to 5 weeks before I got it back. I didn't think that was too bad, plus it would still be done by the first time I needed to mow, so I obliged. 12 weeks later, over 30 phone calls and multiple hours out of multiple work days and I still don't have a lawn mower that works. It is now early June and I STILL haven't been able to use my mower. At one point they even got it confused with someone else's mower that needed a new carb and wanted to charge an extra $200 to me for a lawn mower that wasn't even mine! They're supposed to deliver it back once again tomorrow (as I've had it in there multiple times now and have had multiple people out to the house to look at it) and I can almost guarantee you that it still won't start. I've heard every excuse you could ever imagine (1.You need to buy a new batter - did that and it didn't help. Plus isn't that something you should look at when you service it anyway 2). When they got our mowers confused they told me that I didn't have gas in it. 3) Battery cables were loose, hmm they fixed them and it still wouldn't start 4) You need a new carb - again other mower. 5) Now this last time is that a little piece on the brake was bent. They bent it back and it should start now... hmm for some reason I just don't believe you. Please don't EVER go here. I wish I would have saved my time and energy on some place else!!
