WARNING TO WOMEN! I came in to buy a serpentine belt. A man named SAVIOR "helped me". He sold me the wrong part. I came back in a day later. He was rude and dismissive. Offering me parts to buy that I didn't need. I came in with a very specific photo of the part I needed and he was showing me parts "that MAY work". I finally said can I just return the item, he told me he NEEDED a phone number not true. He is a clear example of a man that makes women not want to go into auto part stores. SAVIOR is incredibly condescending and dismissive. I am not a person who cries in public, I was in tears after my encounter with him. *** I wish I could write a separate review for Thomas. The battery in my Tab trailer died!!! Very totally dead! I called O'Reilly and they were very helpfu! Told me I could bring the trailer in and they would take the battery out for me!!! Fortunately they had the exact battery needed and installed it. Life is good again. read more

If it wasn't for Steven who so quickly installed my new battery, I'd give the service at this particular O'Reillys one star. The female employee who tested my battery was slow and less than helpful or professional. After she sold me the battery, she failed to give me my receipt and disappeared in the back until I asked another salesperson to assist me. He went and got her and when she came back I had to remind her to give me my receipt. She finally asked one of the male workers, Steven, to install my battery - after yelling to him from the counter... she was also unable to carry the battery over to the counter and had to get help doing that simple task... At one point as I waited, there were at least 3 customers waiting to make purchases and no workers behind the counter! This lasted for nearly 10 minutes! Steven was awesome. He had trouble with one of the bolts and went to his car and used his own tools. He was also quick and polite. If he isn't the manager, he should be. The place needs better management. I won't go back to that O'Reilly's again. read more

I come to this O'Reillys because of its location. It's convenient for me since it's close to just about everything! Grocery store, drugs store, restaurants and gas stations. The store is usually stocked of the main items you'll need: motor oil, blades, fluids, cleaning supplies, etc. Just call or ask in person for particular parts. Most likely they'll have to be ordered. My friends come here to purchase parts. I come for back up motor oil, washer fluid, and for car cleaning supplies. Typically there are a couple of folks at the counter ready to help. Be patient though. Sometimes they do have to pick up a call and help those over the phone. My last visit, a younger gentleman was using both counts to ring up customers so the line would be at a minimum. He was polite and asked me earlier if I needed any assistance. Ignored by a grand total of FOUR employees! Go someplace else if you can. Especially if you're a woman and/or casual mechanic. The only reason I gave them two stars is because Bill, the assistant manager, eventually was helpful. I was passing through and figured I'd fix a blown fuse real quick. Nope. When I walked in and asked where the fuses are Enrique pointed vaguely into the center of the store. I grabbed what I needed and went to the counter. Enrique just stood there, who btw seemed pretty damned stoned or hungover. Unfortunately, the fuse pick was too big so I went back in to return it. First, I asked a black lady in a baseball cap but she was busy behind the counter and ignored me. So I moved on to the next employee, a blond woman (Sharon?). I asked if she worked there, she said yes without looking at me and disappeared into the back. So I asked a short brunette woman, she said she wasn't working the counter but someone should help me in a minute. At some point, Enrique had come to the counter, looked at me and walked away without saying a word. I could see Bill in the back helping another customer. He eventually was free to help me return my item and purchase a needle nose. I knew better than to stop at a store on Rainier. Next time, I'm taking my own advice and driving right on by! read more

Love this place.. I needed to change my brake/ signal light and walked in and they found out what bulb I needed. The young gentleman came out and showed me how to replace it. I went in this morning I saw BILL open BOTH DOORS ! And it was 8:00 I came inside I asked him if I could bother him " he was reaching to turn on the last "OPEN " light and said in a ver rude way "yeah let me open up the store " as far as I know the store opens as soon as the doors open . Ok so this is not all I asked him if he could come outside to help me figure out what screw I needed and he does AGAIN very rude paying me no mind saying "bring me a sample or a extra one " My husband goes inside and shows him a picture of the screw bill has no mind helping us he did not even bother to look at the picture . I've never ever seen someone act like this . And to find out his a manager makes me feel disgusting because before I always thought of O'realys as a super costumer friendly place . I have had several great experiences at this location. Tonight I got the chance to be helped by Sherika. She looked up the correct head light bulb I would need, she walked me to where it was on floor and gave a recommendation on which to choose. She even got me a $15 rebate and then she proceeded to install both of my bulbs in the parking lot. Which was not an easy task! She had some trouble getting her hand in the right place to install the bulbs but she never gave up until she installed both of them perfectly! She went above and beyond to help me on a cold evening. We're new to the area and our car battery died in the parking lot of Safeway. O'Reillys was willing to walk over and help us right away! I believe the associate who helped us was named Tobey; she is the best! She tested the battery to make sure it wasn't an issue with the alternator and then she gave us a jump right away. I went to this location for windshield fluid and new wipers. I got helped right away and the customer service gentleman suggest a pair that were $8 off. After the sale he asked if I needed help putting them on he even put in my washer fluid. It was 5 star service and I left completely satisfied. How nice they all were!! read more

Went in to order a Harmonic Balancer for my wifes car. They said it would take a few hours to get there, so that's fine. I go in to pick the part up, and the woodruff key is missing. I tell the clerk that the woodruff key is missing. He walks off to the back. I thought he was going to go let someone know, or to find out exactly which key it is and provide one. He comes back after about 3 minutes and says nothing. I look at him, and he says "What? What do you want from me?" I say "I want this box to have everything in it that it's supposed to have." He found us a new one in covington and we went to pick it up and had issues with that one so took it back to this store to have a piece from the other put on. Embarrassed, Offended and wasted my time. Understaffed most often at this location. Waited patiently 2 days ago to make a wiper blade purchase and returned yesterday for some simple assistance. I waited almost 20 minutes to reach the counter and was then told that he couldn't help me because he was too busy. I explained that I had a physical handicap - one good arm and hand and needed simple assistance that I was Assured I would have in returning. I was denied the service and told to come back another time. Not an option, nor it shouldn't have been. I was also told "well I only needed one hand to do this easy install"/ I said that I couldn't and if I could, I wouldn't have returned for assistance. And I'm a VET, and they have signage around the place talking about appreciating service which is one reason I have been giving them my business for the past 8 years. I was offended and they wasted my time and energy. They don't get customer service!... and have lost my business for good. I'm sure they don't care and haven't heard Anything from customer service. I'm talking with my feet and taking my biz elsewhere and will also do the proverbial Tell Everyone I Know about the experience. Employee made a mistake on my parts quote, then after my customer approved the repair I go back to order the parts and find out it's $50 more than quoted. I bring it to the managers attention and he says it's my fault I didn't check his employees work and it's my fault I didn't see their mistake. I will be shopping elsewhere from now on. read more
