But I also have a number of vehicles and found that their car and especially their motorcycle batteries didn't have the CCA stats I needed. Started looking around for another supplier a few years ago and came across this place. This in a husband and wife business. The husband works at the store over by Raleigh Hills. He is a Military veteran and then some. Great prices, very good customer service and the place is well stocked. They offer a Veteran discount if you show your ID. The wife is "the brains" of the operation. That is to say that she knows a lot about electricity and as a BSEE with 50 years in the biz when I ask her a question she responds as someone who really knows what she's talking about. Everything she's ever recommended has worked out perfectly for me and I really appreciate that. I don't shop at this store nearly as often as their other branch but this store is right across from Costco. And since they are open 7 days a week, if I am at Costco and need something electricity related, I'll stop in here. Both stores are similarly stocked regarding inventory. The staff here is also great. They get you in and out the door with a great price and a smile quickly. I might be able to save a few pennies buying at one of the box stores but I greatly value local businesses and do my best to support them when ever I can. They will R&R your battery and will even install car batteries while you wait. I've never asked them to install my motorcycle batteries but I suppose they might.

They refuse to take responsibility, but I literally just detailed the car the day before and the paint was PERFECT. I hadn't even taken it out of the garage until I took it to interstate. Make sure to watch them install your battery if you bring a car in there that you care about. You can very clearly see how nice my paint is but hairline scratches right where he stood to replace the battery. It might be nothing to the manager, but it's something to me. The sales person, Morgan was actually completely wowed by my car. Looks like I have some buffing to do. Edit: The company response is a lie. They never, NEVER offered any semblance of help. Just the opposite. The manager just kept repeating the lie that he couldn't possibly have scratched the car, again and again while ignoring me. He dismissed me at every turn, repeatedly. When it came to picking up the car, they called at 4:50pm, basically end of business day. Supposedly left a voicemail earlier in the day. When records were checked, no such things were left. No calls or messages or voicemails were left. 2. The car itself after they 'fixed it', two paint drips, missing clip on the fender, plastic trim that was scratched up was never actually replaced, scuffs in the front driver fender, not buffed out - had to be pointed out, missing bolt to keep the fender in, but when they did their analysis they left suction marks for whatever wheel alignment they did that was never there before they had my car in their possession 3. They told us they would get the part and call us back when it came in - literally a month went by, no call or follow up again, it's us following up with them. The girl can't even say when the part was received, Anduar dances around the question. 4. We schedule it for 1 day to fix everything's they say they don't think it will take longer - and they don't do rentals 5. After that fix that should only take 1 day, they messed up, they sanded the paint drips down too far, so now, have to schedule again to get it fixed and now they do rentals 6. Go in to drop off car - then being told I got the day wrong, I am a day early thankfully Billy sets everyone straight that today is the correct day 7. Rental nightmare- they don't know if the car is getting dropped off or if they are picking me up, it's unorganized. I go outside to get fresh air, Billy advised me that it would be easier for them to pick me up, if they are not dropping a vehicle off. I go outside for 5 minutes, come back and they think my wife is picking me up. Then I see a guy calling enterprise and then tells me they will call me shortly. 8. If I have a SUV they are fixing, I am expecting my rental to be an suv as well, nope I got a sedan. 9. When I drop off my car, they are missing a piece and misplaced it now they have my car longer 10. Got my car back and when I went to inspect I saw a clip for the plastic fender missing 11. and they ripped the wiring for my powered side mirrors, at this point I have 0 interest in trusting them with my vehicle at all. If you want things fix the first time, correctly, personally I would not go here. Mind you, my claim was back in September, we are now in December. I want to say after the first visit, we were asked multiple times to provide a review. After this last time I have yet to hear a request for a review. Which I think with all the times of having to return and the quality of service. The reviews at this point to me, I am not sure how scored so highly. I encourage anyone who wants to get their vehicle fixed, take a towel with you and inspect your vehicle prior to you meeting with them. That way they are not over your shoulder. Then after you receive your vehicle make sure you do a review prior to meeting with them. That way you are not distracted and can give yourself time to do a thorough analyzation of your vehicle. I want to preface this by saying it's been months, since having my vehicle back. I debated about leaving this review due to the continuous poor experiences, but I felt it was important to share, because I do love my vehicle, I'd hate to have anyone share this poor experience with me.

I considered going to the Subaru dealer in Beaverton but I gravitated to Brock Automotive because of their stellar, glowing reviews. Glad I did. First, scheduling online is easy and they text you confirmations and reminders. They also respond to texts quickly and efficiently. Note that you will likely need to drop off your vehicle as they are very busy - another good sign! - and though I needed to leave my Subaru overnight, the repairs were done in a reasonable amount of time for the services required. What I also like is their system of 'needs attention, could wait, and doesn't need work' that is color-coded on their estimate sheet by Red, Yellow, and Green; as well the costs for the repairs are clear on that sheet. You can then decide what you want done, approve it, and they will begin the work on your car. My estimate is just what I paid, so zero surprises. Immediately walking in to their shop office, I was greeted cheerily and nicely by Coy--I felt comfortable and relaxed. Picking up my car, I was greeted by an owner, who was equally as cheerful and nice. My car was waiting for me right out front when I exited the office - everything was clean just as I'd left it. You name an excuse they have it: Parts showed up damaged, need to get new parts, Can't find the right parts, Ford service manual doesn't show how to repair that part, we might have to total the car if we damage this part during repair, etc... NOT GOOD AT ESTIMATING: All of this AND original estimate $8K, Revised estimate after they had the truck for 2 months $21K. THEY DON'T ACTUALLY WORK ON THE VEHICLE: At this point ZERO work has been completed except disassembly. Congratulations Precision, you know how to take stuff apart, now lets see if you can put it back together? PHONE CALLS: As a bonus, when you call - AI answers and makes you answer a bunch of stupid questions only to promise someone will call you back. If they do forward you to a person, it goes to voicemail, but the voicemail is full and you can't leave a message. EMAILS: Emails go without ANY reply. VISITING MY TRUCK IN PRECISION JAIL: I finally had to drive over and walk into the shop. The excuse (at 3.5 months of waiting) was that they were waiting for a couple more things to figure out before they order the parts for the repair. Triple Extra Bonus: When you drop off you get a free 19 page list of excuses and reasons why shit may go wrong, but no matter what it won't be their fault. They make you sign every page Quadruple Extra Bonus: That document was written by a monkey. And I fricking hate monkeys. The number of errors and outdated information in their contract is ridiculous. Who cares if they do a good job on repairs if they never actually do the repairs. This body shop is not good, in summary…read more The car damage was light and it was an insurance claim against the person who hit my car. Small bumper damage and small door dents, the original estimate was about $3000, and kevin told me it might go up to $4000-5000. The total bill was close to $8500. They repaired the vehicle before insurance paid for it, so if the insurance decided not to, I would've been screwed. They sent me the updated estimates after the repairs were done asking if they should go ahead with them. After that they kept increasing and decreasing the total bill, as they liked. I have in my possession 3-4 different total bills. The shop had multiple different employees that I had talked to, 2 of them left, so I kept getting different promises of what will be done with my car. I had a small front scratch that kevin and Aron told me they will fix (on the house since they were small) but since they left, their notes didn't matter. The shop did "repair" those scratches on the house, but they have caused more damage. And now I will pay even more to get them fixed. The promise was complete repair, these guys took a marker and lightly covered them (pics included) The repair was delayed by 10 days. I was leaving Oregon and I had to have the car done by a certain time. They waited till the last minute to tell me they need more money from the insurance, which put me in a bad position and had to cancel my shipping car date and re-arrange flights. This was only due to them not being on top of things. The manager Steven lies blatantly and tells me he been contacting the insurance company but they don't respond. Yet when I do a quick call, they send a check within 2 days. I would also send Steven emails and left voicemails asking for updates, but he doesn't return my calls or respond to my emails. And when I did finally get in touch after 7-8 attempts, he tells me he sent me emails but they didn't go through. Even though we were sending emails back and forth when they were asking for more money. So as a man, I'm embarrassed for him to have a guy his age lie like that. Finally, and ironically enough, when I was picking my car, there was another customer with a Jeep who the shop damages her car. And when she left they were making fun of her, even though they had acknowledged the damage and the delays they caused, calling her rude because she was upset and was in a hurry. Finally, if the owner reads this, I had told the employees how Rivian is right next to me, and I have family members who work there, who will hear about your shop and how your employees behave. And even more importantly, the low quality of repairs the cars leave your shop in.

The after hours drop off and pick up is seamless and really easy, which I appreciated. They charged $300 to diagnose, which seemed high, but I didn't want to tow my car to another shop, so I accepted that. They got my car back to me five days later, and the alternator worked great but a dash light had come on for a bulb which was not burned out. I replaced the bulb but the light persisted. I asked the shop about looking at it, and I was advised well, we'll run some tests, which sounded to me like another $300 diagnosis. So, the alternator repair was good, but now I have a permanent dash light on until I can find a shop to take it to. All in all, I'd say they are an OK shop.
