He said open the remote myself and find the battery model. I asked for his help and he tried to pry open my remote with a pair of scissors. Stopped him and he said customer should open themselves. Got in line again and another younger gentleman helped me - he opened the remote, replaced the battery and even tested it on my car. I forgot to get their names. But the older guy needs to not be in customer service. Took off one star for him. Other reps at his location are amazing.

When I originally walked in, a different employee had verbally told me that they are unable to test my battery because of a new policy they have basically saying they can't go outside and service vehicles when it's dark. As I left the store, got back in my car and was about to leave, Terrance came and saved my nite. He was very profesional and kind, had me in and out within 15 minutes. My car is happy.

I called them and they gave me the number to the shop where it was being rebuilt Gee's Auto Parts. Called the shop and Jay said the parts were on back order. During that time I understand Houston had a hurricane. Well now its been over 3 months and I still don't have my engine. The shop kept telling me its close to being ready. One week Jay told me it should be ready at the beginning of next week. Well, by Wednesday of that next week I still wasn't contacted about my engine. When I contacted them again saying I need a tracking number and a bill. Jay asked me where they needed to send it to and I told them. Never heard back from them on the tracking number or bill. Contacted Sharper Edge and let them know and never heard from them neither.

The clown at customer service was rude and refused to honor the paperwork. Presented. The so called Manager was also dismissive and refused ti give me her name. Both these emplloyees need to be fired. I was told to come back and repeat the 5 ours of wasted time I spent to get the battery tested at the Walmart nearby. Their so called free exchange for 4 years means you need to do a song and dance to get the exchange you are due. Too much wasted time. Not worth the small savings to buy Auto battergy at Walmart. I went for the C&D experience and I knew I wasn't going to get hundreds nor thousands for my items. All I wanted was the $2 bills for my money collection. I arrived surprisingly happy that the cars behind me gave me enough space while I had my tailgate down while driving relatively slow. That's a rarity when I have my tailgate up. Right when you take a right on SW Plaza you'll go down a curving road right smack dab into the cul-de-sac of C&D Metal and a vehicle impound lot. You'll see lots of cars parked in the cul-de-sac and a long line waiting for the "vehicle storage". Keep on trucking along into the C&D Metal yard. You'll see a hut with a young lady in it, you'll need to give her your driver's license, license plate id, the description of the items, and your address. Step out of the vehicle for this, she will make no effort. Are you new? Are you new? ARE YOU NEW HERE? You'll be slammed with this repetitive question if you are new to C&D. I couldn't get away from it. Now the lady in the hut may misinform you on where you need to go next. I was told to go to lane 1 inside the warehouse and that's where I met José. José, a very friendly Hispanic man that's very helpful and very detailed in helping customers on what to do next. Are you new? Are you new? ARE YOU NEW HERE? If that's not obvious enough, yes I'm new; José. It's my first time! Drive around past the hut, to the long blue scale, wait for the green light and proceed to the junkyard. I weighed at 4000. Verde ding! I met José and a massive pile of scrap, it was as tall as the sky. I offered to help, José unload; but he said he got it. That's just my personality. I made sure José didn't throw my walking sticks out as he didn't. Next you'll drive left of the warehouse to the next long blue scale. I weighed at 3620. Verde, ding! Park in the front and go to the door that's open. Here you will see a dark, dimmed, and rigged up counter. Where you'll not be able to see the cashier at all. It's a one-way mirror, reflective on side and transparent on the other. Is this a police interrogation?! The cashier was so friendly, she expressed how she wishes her customers could see her. There's a process you'll need to do before you get handed $2 bills. She'll ask you to take a picture through the webcam, scan your fingerprint, and sign. You'll need to do this, TWICE. For your records and theirs. Then she'll ask how you want your money, $2 bills or regular payment. I want what is advertised on the commercials and website. There you'll get a receipt, your payment, and a card to use again if you decide to come back. Are you new, Are you new, ARE YOU NEW HERE? The overall experience was outstanding! I will be back. The new location off of Reed Rd, will be more convenient and gas cost effective for me. It's opening Spring 2024 or sometime in 2024.

Experience 1: I had my nephew order several parts and was told most would be ready on Saturday, and one would be available on Monday. I arrive on Saturday to pay and pick up parts, and the nice gentleman Sebastian told me he didn't know what I was talking about and would NOT be able to help me without the complete list. He was arrogant and rude. He didn't offer to look it up by name or check for bulk order. I called back 15 minutes later with the list, and somehow he already knew what I was talking about before I gave him the list of parts but couldn't be bothered to look it up while I was there. Sadly, it delayed repairs on my car further. Experience: 2: On Monday, I called to make sure the entire order was available, and after five minutes on hold, Juan hung up. I called back and told them they hung up on me, and Juan said, "we don't hang up on people". Experience 3: I needed another part for my car that was a special order item. He said if I paid for it today, I could get it by Friday. He sent me a payment link, and I IMMEDIATELY submitted the payment. All this took maybe about 15 minutes from the phone call to them forwarding a payment link. Today I call, and I'm told that I missed the order deadline and would have to wait another five days. No one called me to confirm I still wanted the part or even mentioned the issue when they sent the nonrefundable payment link. I recommend using them, and if they have the part, but if not, please go elsewhere. Stuff happens, and maybe my experience is unique.
