***READ THIS BEFORE TAKING YOUR CAR TO THIS BUISNESS FOR SERVICE*** I believe this person is running a Ponzi scheme with auto parts. We transported our 2014 Mercedes Benz ML 550 to Joe in April 2024 to rebuild the engine. We did our due diligence to find the best MB mechanic to rebuild our engine as this is my favorite car. The broker we spoke to said this man "Gee's Auto Parts" was the best. My husband called and spoke with Joe. With the promise that it would be done in 3-4 weeks. Then it was 2-3 months. Then it was lie after lie after lie. Many text and phone calls with some response, then totally ghost us. We requested photos, got them but some show it at his place of business and others at a residential location. THAT IS THEFT!!! We then were told that it was not there at this shop and one of his employees took it for a "joy ride" and it is now in impound. Asked if we could text him a copy of our registration in order to get it out of impound. (another lie) Well folks, my car doesn't run more than 30 seconds before shutting off. I know because our MBeze mechanic told me so and we tried it. (another lie) We asked to have it sent back and he told my husband to hang in there I promise to get it done and without charging us anything. LIEs. At this time we have not paid Joe a dime, we have asked to but he says to hold off. I have spoke to a few other customers of Joe's or Quinten or Jay or whatever name he is using on said day. I have spoke to the attorney that Napalm A in a previous review posted. She has had a few call her on this person Joe. Unfortunately, when you speak to Houston police they say it is a civil matter. Update to 6- 2025. I called and filed a stolen vehicle with the El Paso County Police Department in Colorado Springs. The deputy called and spoke to Joe and he is more than willing to finally ready to send my car back. Unfinished of course. Since this is my car, I have yet had a chance to fly to Houston and pick up my car. Funny, when a deputy calls, Joe is more than willing to chat, otherwise the man is silent. We purchased a BMW M5 V10 engine from this company. The engine arrived in great shape and in a very timely manner. The communication from Gee's Auto Parts was outstanding during the entire purchasing process. They were also very knowledgeable, helpful, and very customer oriented. Once the engine was installed in the vehicle, it started up perfectly with NO hidden issues at all. The description of the engine they were selling was spot on and there were no leaks or damages. I can't praise Gee's Auto Parts enough over this transaction, from start to finish they were amazing. You can't go wrong with this company. When I began looking for a salvage motor for a customer in a bind on a low mileage X3 I looked to the salvage listings and was not impressed with what I was seeing until I stumbled upon Gee's. I figured it was just a typo or what they were offering was a hoax or something, till I called and boy was I surprised at the response. Not only could they get me what I wanted, but at a great price and on short order. I ended up buying a new engine from them, had it quickly and at a good price. Took my BMW M5 swimming in Louisiana and drowned the relatively rare V10 engine. Jay was kind enough to find me a replacement. I can't say enough good things about Gee's. Jay texted me photos of the engine as it came out of the donor vehicle. Motor arrived exactly as described. Agree with previous reviewer that communication was excellent. An exemplary business. Bought a 8k BMW motor for my M5, had issues with it since day one, He promised to stand behind the motor and will send me a new one once I removed it .
