My experience was a joke. It started out whatever as I went with my friend that needed a part. I…read morewas wearing a long sleeve and asked to use the bathroom which they did let me but it immediately turned into the guy asking if I wanted an audience (which I joked back this didn't bother me really). They even printed out a paper of possible cars that might have the part we needed as well as had tools we could borrow that we needed. At first he seemed nice and asked if we wanted to put our ice cream in the freezer as we went to the junk yard and I agreed. We didn't have much luck but it was our own fault even. So my friend (who is a male) returned the tools that were borrowed and there wasn't any problem at all until I walked into the office when all of a sudden just a socket just happened to be missing when things were fine for my friend. I believed him at first and went to look for the socket since took set was only opened at all near 1 car and did not find one socket. My friend did have a part but he put it down at the entrance of the junkyard and then got in his car and drove into the yard to find me. I can not stress enough about how HE WAS DRIVING INTO THE JUNKYARD when I saw him and got into the car to go look for the single socket. And than we were being surrounded in the car by all the non threatening employees (I'm really not trying to be mean when I say they all were standing around the car looking around as if they had not a clue what they were doing) as if to scare us I'm assuming. I believe it was the owner (the same guy in the first paragraph) asked me how much money I had on me which was $20 and why would I tell him any more especially when I was confused. I had to go into the office give him the $20 all while some customer that was talking to everybody there was making remarks about how I was stealing. I regret paying it but again at the time not really understanding the situation. Than later on talking to my friend about this insane nonsense that I truly believe there was not a socket missing. So long story short, I got robbed of $20 for a cheap socket that I have better ones I could have brought if they asked nicely as well as my 2 tubs of ice cream. I can't say for certain if it's cause I'm female or we just looked like easy targets to make some quick money off but they clearly made out with a win.

Not 3 months & 1100 miles later my check engine light came on (very cold morning) I called them and was told to drive around until it warmed up and see if the light goes out (really it was the check engine light) so I did & it did not, checked the oil and none showed on the dipstick (not good sign) called them back was told to add oil and if wanted I could get an oil change on Friday also the hood latch would latch either. Left a message for the sales manger to call me back after his meeting did not hear from him either. Called Jeep Wave and they took of it with Deere Brothers Jeep in Iowa City, Deere Brothers will be my Jeep dealer going forward.

It's important to carry a spare with you at all times because today was the 4th of July and the nearest place we could find to get it fixed is a Walmart 30 minutes away so if we had a spare we could have put that on so this is just a friendly reminder to always carry a spare tire.

He tested it and gave us honest feedback on our options. He didn't pressure us into buying the most expensive option and even volunteered that our old battery was from WalMart and we could buy a replacement from Walmart again for less. I thanked him for his transparency, assured him that there was value in the convenience and his help made it very convenient so we would be buying it from Autozone. He removed our old battery and installed out new one and it couldn't have been easier for us! I told him he deserved a raise and I meant it!
