I got there and was greeted after a few minutes by one employee who it appeared was helping another employee and customer. I told him what I wanted and he said leave the keys and he'd pull the car in. Went in the waiting area and waited probably 10 minutes and my car hadn't been pulled in. On Set 10/24 I requested a service, and the employees told me that I have to wait for aprox. 40 minutes because they were waiting for a vehicle services approval, I asked if they can do my service while they wait for the approval of the other vehicle. And te employee replied " we can only do one vehicle at the time and they were busy. I needed my oil changed. They were quick, I was disappointed in the fact that they did not top off my fluids. They mentioned they do not do that. The dealer always tops off fluids as does their competitors and everyone is the same price. instead they said i was low on power steering fluid and radiator fluid and needed them both serviced for 200 bucks to exchange steering fluid and another 200 bucks to exchange transition fluid as well and 400 to do a tube up.i probably won't be back. Let me just say that looks can be deceiving. When I came to this Jiffy Lube my first thoughts were, "Damn that's it, this is so small"...but boy did this Jiffy Lube get me in & out fast. I was really impressed with how friendly the staff is. Armando was the one that helped me on my first visit here & not only was he knowledgeable, he was also very helpful in assisting me with my automotive questions. I've came here 2 times already once to bring my mans ride & the second time to bring my ride & both times I've been treating with respect & was in & out in under 15 minutes. Despite my car being brought into the garage as soon as I pulled up, I was here for 45 minutes total. On top of that, I was quoted $120, only for them to come inside and state due to "xyz" it will actually be $187? "Owner adds an up charge for the type of oil you want." Since when?! Why not tell me this prior when you quoted me $120? I explained I have never paid more than $120 for an oil change, and that I would've just gone to Valvoline had they said this from the get go. I felt like I was being scammed. I've never had an experience getting oil change like this nor have I ever been charged to this amount. Leaving feeling frustrated. The only reason I would be coming back is for David, who despite the mess, was extremely helpful and kind and was the only reason this wasn't a terrible experience. read more

I went to Daniel's tires and the guy said it would take 2-3 hours for an oil change and he couldn't get to me til the next day (I arrived at 3:50 pm)! I called my local jiffy lube and they said come down 15-20 min. So I arrived and sure enough they took my car in, the guy let me know my options for my car but I was heading on a road trip and just wanted an oil change. There is a local market strip. Update: earlier today I had the owner of the Jiffy Lube contact me directly. He went over and beyond to apologize. I explained to him there were no hard feelings & maybe Frank had an off day when I was there. I looked over his reviews & it seems it was unlike him. Because of the owners effort & genuine kindness I agree to take my truck back to finish the rest of the work. In return I will not let this one bad experience ruin the many other times and years coming to this establishment. I also stressed to the owner he did not need to apologize but he was a very humble person & only wants for his customers to be happy with the service & good relationship with customers and workers. My review changed & won my 5 star review on them. After 5 months, on Wednesday 03/01/23, I took my truck back for an oil change... additionally needed brake fluid, and new brakes. After dropping my kid, I dropped off my truck at Jiffy Lube off Lambert/Gunn Av, Whittier. Francisco "Frank", the only mechanic available at the time with another employee were at the location. Frank tells me it will take approximately 2 hours to get these things done. Mind you it can take a little less or more. After 3 hours I decided to walk back to the location and see if it was ready. Frank did state he would give me a call, however that didn't happen: when I arrived another employee approaches me and I ask how much longer for my truck to be ready. He advises me to speak to the person I made my agreement with. Hmmm ???? Ok whatever, Frank is on the phone on a corporate meeting. Over the phone they are doing raffles or whatever. I ask Frank what happen it's been a little over 3 hours. He then said, "I told you it was approximate 2 hours!" I told Him I understand but it's now 3 hours later, and I didn't receive a call. This way I can make arrangements for work because it's not like I can come in at any time. He continued to say he had to take the rotors to get cut which weren't part of the maintenance and did not have the time to make the phone call. He's saying this while he's on the phone on who knows how long meeting. I said how much longer he said another hour. I said it's not professional to not communicate with a client. This way they may have time to make changes or coordinate. He then had the gals to say, "Maybe you should have had a ride ready if this was to happen for work." Wow!!!! I said, "First of all, I do not like your disrespectful tone. You don't get to tell me what I need to do with my time and with my life!" Then Frank said, "No you are being disrespectful by asking me why I took more than 2 hours." This guy is so full of himself, his ego couldn't be much bigger and setting me straight. Don't know what he was thinking. Then Frank said to me, "We can give your car back without the rear breaks being done!" I said, "You know what, yes give me back my truck." When checking me out to pay, he put on the notations "Rear breaks not completed per customer". Then tell me the rear rotors are cracked. I said it's noted. I paid my $442.98 out of the $898 and went about my way. I left this place of business unsatisfied with the service. The lack of professionalism, respect, and tone he used to speak to me was unacceptable. You can be the only mechanic but you need to have the skills to speak to PAYING customers with respect. They have cameras they can look at how I was with him. I did not raise my voice, I asked questions, and made a suggestion to call your customers when there's something more than the service being quoted for. Absolutely horrible customer service, extremely horrible. Probably one of the worst I've ever experienced at an auto body shop. Before I even could pull in , a gentleman that works there, (Tall curly hair who refused to provide name) as he's walking up to my car he trying to be sneaky and hide the fact he's checking his phone to see what time it is. I came around 4:45pm when they close at 6:00pm. He ask me what service do I want and I said oil change , he replies we do $110 for synthetic. I really needed an oil change since being busy from work and final had a time to do it. Which I didn't even ask for a synthetic oil change nor mention one. From his tone I was brought back and asked for manager and he tells me that he's gone. Him being aggressive made me not want anything to do with this business anymore. But I will do what I can to speak to that manager to make sure my voice is heard. I've visited many jiffy lubes in OC/LA never experience an angry dramatic worker like this ! read more

Very disapointing... I called yesterday asking how much it would cost for and air filter and and fuel flush, and the gentleman I spoke to quoted me. 24.99 and 74.99 which I thought was reasonable. So Today I had my Bf take my car to get serviced and he called me saying that's not the price. The people working there today quoted him. 40$ for the air filter and 80$ for the fuel flush. I was a bit confused. So I called another jiffy lube in the area and got 24.99 and 74.99 quote. I was told by the neighboring jiffy lube that all prices should be the same. I'm not sure what you guys are trying to do but that is wrong. Over charging people is wrong. I would go to another location since this place fluctuates in prices. Go on youtube and search for "jiffy lube scams" and you will see what I am talking about. I use to come here regularly until I saw these videos on Youtube. Last time I came here they were such a***oles. They thought I was taking pictures and told me not to. I was actually checking my emails. And so what if I was taking pictures. I was turned away, apparently they had no 5w-30. I then asked for 10w-30. The guy said my cars manufacturer recommended 5w-30, and they could only could use factory recommended weights. I showed him receipts from the past where I've used 10w-30, from another jiffy lube location. Still wouldn't do it. I wasn't going to argue, fine. If you don't want my business, or my family and friends business, fine by me. The more the guy spoke, the more I didn't want him working on my car. I came to get my oil changed and ended up having to go somewhere else later because they caused over $400 in damages to my engine. They put everything together wrong and it messed up some other parts and I had to get them redone. I came back and told them what happened just to see if they got the same results as I did when I went to the place before and they told me only half of what was really wrong. The parts that were supposed to be replaced were not replaced and they told me my oil pan was leaking and it needed to be fixed.... I WONDER WHY? They messed it up in the first place. Once they told me I was okay to leave, that's when I took out the paper to show them my service paper from the place I had gotten it checked out at and they looked at me all shocked like they knew they fucked up. After all said and done I told them they were horrible people that shouldn't take advantage of people who don't know what they are doing. I came to this jiffy lube when I needed my oil changed last minute on a Sunday afternoon and didn't wanna have to worry about it/put it off or wait hours at my local pep boys so I came to this location which Is fairly close to my house, I normally go to the jiffy lube in bellflower off of alondra,however the guys working here were nice and really fast!! They finished up my oil change in about 10 minutes but it felt shorter than that. I was happy I wasn't left waiting for up to an hour like I'm normally used too when it comes to getting my car serviced. Gave 4 stars because the waiting room was cramped and limited seating available but wow these guys are quick I'll be coming back if I need an oil change again. Thanks guys read more

Only giving 1 star because I cannot rate it any lower. After going to this jiffy lube for an oil change resulted it having to pay twice the price, due to my car having to be towed after driving it, due to the incompetent workers not being able to put all of the parts back into their proper place. Fernando told us that it was "privately franchised" so I couldn't call customer service and had to deal with him if I wanted a refund, then offered to pay the towing if he had seen the cost. After showing him the cost of the towing and offering him to call the tow management that we had gone through, he claimed that he was unable to do anything because it lacked proof, even though there was a receipt present. Long story short, save the headache, the manager shouldn't be in his position, and lies through his teeth, along with flat out saying that we are "bull shit". Never coming back here again. read more

Sat here 45 minutes and nobody took my car information. . Just busy I guess..went back a few days later. .. got the high mileage treatment and was talked ii nto th fuel injection service. . The signature service usually they top your fluids and they vacuum n wipe windows.. I didnt get my fluids topped.. Now as a busy single mom it's why I choose jiffy lube.. so I dont have to worry about low fluids.. and honestly they havnt done it the last 2 times at this location. .. I dont really think they did my fuel injection service since my car was done way too quickly. . Just not feeling good about the "signature service " at this location. . I think I was charged for something I didn't get cus last time u did it I felt the difference in the mpg read more
