I have a Honda 2024 HRV Sport, price is way higher at dealerships somewhere. Service was awesome, very professional and cordial. The facility was spotless and even the work areas. I stopped by for new tires. Price was very affordable (buy 2, get 2 free promotion). The customer service was excellent, I could not ask for a better experience. I was helped by Richard who was very personable, understanding and transparent with the cost breakdown (unlike many other tire/auto shops) and any questions I had. The waiting lobby is really nice with air conditioning, comfortable + clean chairs, great lighting and a nice complementary refreshment area. I was even offered muffins by Richard! I highly recommend for anyone in need of tires/auto service (they do oil changes too!) to give this place a try. They make a great effort in showing customers that they appreciate their business. I made two appointments and both times I was jerked around. I showed up the first time and was told my appointment was not confirmed even though I showed him my confirmation. They refused to take me even with that info. Then I set up another appointment the following weekend and even got an email confirmation from someone that worked there...when we showed up in the late afternoon, all the mechanics were on lunch supposedly, but I was not told this until I questioned why my car had not been looked at for over a half hour after my appointment time despite no one else being there waiting for work to be done. The gentleman told me there was nothing he could do and I would have to wait over an hour longer just for them to start on my car. I don't understand why they even take appointments if this is their policy. I will never go back to this location. read more

I can't stand a sassy manager with no customer service. It's literally an oil change, if you're coming for the promotion. They don't top off fluid , or anything. This place is beyond slow it took them an hour and a half and there was 1 car ahead of mine. I'd say it was because of the vaping in between conversations but no. Had I not asked they would've kept the LOCK for my wheels. I'm not sure if Frank was having a bad day, or if it was just too hot outside, but he definitely needs to go through a few courses on customer service and etiquette because his attitude is too sassy for a mechanic. Made an appointment for Friday. Showed up to my appointment and Frankie at the front desk said that most appointments have been cancelled. Asked him why wasn't I notified or anything. I planned my day around this. His response: "I don't know, it's our AI system brother." And he left it at that. No other response. Then I said well, shouldn't you ask me to reschedule right now? Light bulb went off finally and "Only availability is the following Tuesday." Ok let's do 12pm. "No worries brother, I'll just put you down for 8am dropoff but you can come by anytime." I showed up on the Tuesday get helped by "Eric" with Frankie sitting right next to him. Eric tried to charge me over $100 so I had to tell him nah, I was here for the special last week and there should be a note to honor it from your buddy sitting right there so rescheduled me. Frankie at this point pretended to be blind and hard of hearing until I called him out. Of course he then tells Eric, yes there's a note in there. Great, price drops in half. That's all crappy and frustrating but the real frustration lies in the fact that they didn't do 4/6 of the services that's listed on the invoice. Oh how did I know, I sat at the window watching the mechanic since my car was the only car getting serviced. He skipped the tire rotations, skipped all inspections. So naturally I asked, since the mechanic didn't do more than half the things listed here, should there be more of a deduction? "Oh but the mechanic did do all that. No, he didn't. I watched him. Oh well you gotta talk to him. If you see their specials or they try to charge you for services such as tire rotations, keep a sharp eye because they're more likely not going to do it. Here is my tire pressure after leaving this WHITTIER discount TIRE CENTER. You think the minimum they can do is to inflate your air but they didn't know because they don't check your car at all. If these guys tell you something is wrong with your car, PLEASE GO TO ANOTHER MECHANIC AND SEE WHAT THEY TELL YOU!!! I tried to get an alignment job on my car at this shop and Richard told me that they can't do an alignment because my rack and pinion is rusted and that I need to get the whole thing replaced. He said he can do it for $595 but that he can hook me up and get it rebuilt and it will only come out to about $250. I asked if this is all I have to pay and nothing more. He said yes. He printed out some paperwork and circled the part where it says $575 and kept pointing it to that price saying that's all I have to pay but that he can slice that price in half if I get it rebuilt. I took the paperwork home and when I looked at it again it had bunch of other prices written on it and the highest price that was on that paper was over $1800. I called and asked Richard what's with the $1800?? He said he is only allowed to tell me the price of materials and not the price with the materials and labor combined. I already felt that this guy was being dishonest so I took it to another shop and told them I need an alignment. They did tell me that my rack and pinion is stuck but that they will spray WD40 on it to see if that helps. It did help!!! I almost got ripped off for over $1800 if I would've believed what Richard told me. I actually went to this shop because of their buy 2 tires and get 2 free deal. I called to get an estimate and when I spoke to Richard who told me the cheapest tires I can get the deal with will come out to $276 total. When I looked at their website I ended up finding cheaper price that had the same deal. I called back but this time angel answered who quoted me for $207. Bottom line don't believe a word this store tells you!!!!! read more

Terrible experience from beginning to end. Completely unprofessional and dishonest service. I first called for a price estimate. Eric left me a voicemail quoting $600 for REAR brake pad and rotor replacement. Shortly after, Store Manager Frankie Oliva texted me the same price, but for FRONT brakes. Because the information was inconsistent, I called Frankie to ask if pricing differed between front and rear. He claimed that rear brakes are more expensive due to electronic sensors and insisted the price would be higher for the rears. More importantly, Frankie told me that even though the rear brakes would cost more, this price was still a "special promotion." He promised that if I came in immediately, they would complete the entire job within 1 to 1.5 hours. Being trusting of his word, I stopped working and drove to the store based on that promise. When I arrived, I asked Frankie why Eric's voicemail quoted $600 for the "expensive" rear brakes if Frankie was now saying that was the price for the "cheaper" fronts. Frankie brushed it off, saying, "Eric just started here; he doesn't know that the pricing for front and rear brakes is different. I'm the manager, so the price has to go up since it's the rear brakes." After the service order was written, I called a Mercedes-Benz dealership to confirm which brakes I actually needed. They confirmed it was the FRONT brakes. I informed Frankie at 3:45 PM. His facial expression changed immediately; he said he would cancel the rear order and order front parts instead. I later called three other mechanic shops, and all of them confirmed that front brakes/rotors are actually more expensive than rears because the components are larger. It became clear that Frankie had lied about the rear brakes being more expensive to try and overcharge me. When he realized he couldn't use that lie anymore because I actually needed the fronts--meaning he couldn't extract extra money from me--his story collapsed. I truly believe that because he failed to deceive me, he decided to spite me as a form of "revenge." From that moment on, they intentionally stalled. My car sat untouched for hours with repeated excuses that they were waiting for parts. I never imagined that a promised 1.5-hour job would turn into a 4-hour ordeal of sitting in a waiting room while my car was ignored. The parts didn't arrive until 6:55 PM. During the wait, I witnessed shockingly unprofessional behavior. At 5:00 PM, Eric told me the parts were at their Bellflower location (15 mins away). By 6:00 PM, when the parts still hadn't arrived, Frankie claimed they were "mistakenly delivered" to Bellflower and someone was just now going to get them. When I pointed out that Eric said they were already there an hour ago, both Eric and Frankie suddenly denied it, accused me of lying, and said Eric "never said that." This was blatant gaslighting. I was shocked by how easily they lied to my face. The owner of this location must know that they have dishonest and unethical people managing their store. Wasting four hours of a customer's time, attempting to overcharge through deception, and then gaslighting them is inexcusable. DO NOT come to this shop. They target customers they perceive as uninformed or alone. As someone who came in by myself, I felt they assumed I would be easy to pressure. This experience wasn't just frustrating--it was disturbing. I will continue to warn everyone I know and share this on social media so that no one else is treated the way I was. read more

Took one of my vehicles in for an oil change. After inspection of the vehicle, there was a recommended brake service since the pads were at the 3mm mark. They have a current special, which is great along with a special on the brake fluid transfer. The price was less than expected. The work was done professionally and within a reasonable amount of time. My visit to the Discount Tire in Whittier was an absolute nightmare due to their horrific customer service. I brought my car in for a standard inspection, which is supposed to be a routine part of their job. Still, the associate flat-out refused to perform it, offering no valid reason and dismissing me with a rude, condescending attitude. When I asked to fill out the forms that accompany the service, they acted as if I were asking for the impossible, showing complete disregard for basic professionalism and their responsibilities.
