I was disappointed this year on my visit from RI to find some "traditional Irish" fare removed from the menu. I was looking forward to the Sheppard's pie with my bread pudding for dessert. This also meant there were no mashed potatoes for the steak tips so the juice from the steak could go into the potatoes. and as a side note, bread and butter not offered without a charge, Our server tonight was very nice and attentive to us, just disappointed in an Italian dessert replacing the Irish dessert and the mash potato thing. The four of us ventured here for dinner - and after enjoying the atmosphere, loving the courteous and accommodating service and the delicious menu offerings, we wondered how come we haven't been here before! The Olde Inne has been here "forever" and we're just discovering it now? My buddy and I started with the Irish Guinness. Flavorful and lighter than the typical drought. As appetizers we shared the Farmhouse (potato) Skins and the Fried Fish Bites. Yummy for both of these treats! As the main - he opted for the Corned Beef Reuben, I, the Fish and Chips. The Honey chose the Pan Seared Scallops while the Buddy's wife, the Baked Haddock. Everything was excellent. Well plated, well cooked and presented. An excellent experience and a great meal. Driven by several times, glad we found time to come in post Christmas weekend. Bustling authentic Irish pub with low wood ceilings, welcoming staff, and great Irish food and Guinness. Fish n chips and shepherds pie were delightful between the brick fireplace and cozy bar. Very nice trad music and rock band on a Saturday night. It took about 45 minutes to get just get an app, this was after being ignored .the waitress was legit running all around the place besides coming to ask if we wanted food. This is genuinely the worst service, food, atmosphere you can possibly have. The nachos were legit dry, chips burnt cheese and bullshit on top. Absolutely joke here, will most likely wait another hour for my salmon. I understand it's busy and it's a Monday after Fourth of July. We loved our time at O'Shea's in Dennis, MA. The live band was the reason we stayed for another round of drinks because they were so entertaining that we could have easily been there all night. The service is grade A and the hostess always seats you in the best seat in the house. The clam chowder was superbly creamy and the added crackers gave a nice crunch along with a strong clam flavor. We also embraced the Irish theme with the Reuben egg rolls and the sandwich. The sauce that came with the egg rolls worked perfectly with both dishes and the egg rolls were packed with juicy corned beef. The sandwich featured big chunks of meat and the marbled bread was impressive just for its appearance. Overall, it was a memorable night at O'Shea's. read more

It doesn't have much competition. Unfortunately, it shows. The service was ok, but the food was below average. The mussels were so overcooked & under seasoned. The burgers, omg. How can you mess up a burger & fries? The meat mix was weird (cheap maybe?) & unseasoned. Even the fries were mediocre I would only return to go to the bar for live music. I've driven by O'Shea's many times, always hoping to go there someday & to relive my visit to Ireland long ago. Finally had the chance to go! We didn't have a reservation, but they sat us anyway, which I was happy about. There was a live band playing Irish music, which was lovely except it was quite ear-piercing. They certainly didn't need the microphones they were using. The atmosphere was definitely just like an authentic Irish pub. Loved it. My daughter wanted a grilled cheese sandwich (she's an adult) and was told she couldn't have it because that was on the kids menu. I said you have the ingredients, right? Just make an adult size portion of the same meal and charge more. The waitress had to go in back to see if they would make her the meal. They did. I'd brought my own spring water (sensitive stomach) but was told I needed to return it to my car. I've never had a problem anywhere else, so we were going to leave, but the waitress brought me an empty cup I could use to drink it out of instead of the container I brought it in. So, we stayed. Our food was delicious. Maybe a little over priced, but still cooked well and it was enjoyable. Service was a little slow, but our waitress was very friendly and engaging. The music was absolutely beautiful (a 2 man 1 woman band that are apparently regular). Our server was Irish and was super sweet. Our table was the absolute corner of the restaurant giving us a wonderful view of everyone and yet giving us privacy. And the FOOOOOOD!! I WOULD HAVE COME BACK FOR MULTIPLE MORE NIGHTS IF WE WERE AROUND FOR LONGER. The Baked Seafood Medley was just mindblowing. My wife got Salmon and it was very very good too! read more

Beloved by locals and welcoming to visitors, you can expect authentic Irish fare, Cape Cod staples, live music, warm people, lovely staff. I accidentally discovered this place five years ago and have rotated through only a few of their menu items: clam chowder (the best I've ever had), lamb stew, shepherd's pie (which is actually a cottage pie but still the best you'll get in the US), and bangers and mash. Why have I only stuck to those four item you ask? Because they are incredible. I actually have a hard time picking between them each time I visit. Oh, and they have the best bread pudding you've ever tasted... so save room. O'Shea's boasts food, music, and friendship, 365 days a year. Mondays is open mic night. Always fun. The servers are very friendly and they know how to make sure that you're taken care of, Many of them have authentic brogues! There was a great band playing an assortment of Irish and American music. Nice locals place that came as a recommendation from someone at another business we patronized in Hyannis. We were lucky to duck in during Live music night. The performing duo was really good & all the locals were vibing. Really loud spot during that time, people were conversing loudly because of the music. We went for a quick dinner, & I found it to be your typical Irish Tavern with traditional Irish offerings along with Amercian comfort foods. We ordered burgers, they were a bit underwhelming in my opinion. However, I'm not sure why because it's a cheeseburger & it was cooked perfectly. Love how they treated the bacon on the burger, nice little bacon curls. My wife enjoyed hers very much, she did no bun cuz she's gluten sensative. Maybe it was the bread (I wasn't fond of the bun, it was too soft) I felt like this wonderfully cooked burger could've been on a crustier kaiser roll. I can't help it, it's the Philly in me, super spoiled to Liscio & Amoroso rolls. I also should've asked for mayo on the side, the lack of sauce gave it no flavor profile. Maybe the chef should create a secret burger sauce & offer it with the burger. This is a great spot, though it is clear that some take away a bad perspective. The food is amazing on some items (Haddock, scallop, seafood medleys) and "ok" on others (fries, oddly). Don't expect fancy wines or mixed drinks to always shine. It's an Irish bar! I enjoy the 8PM Sunday night blues jam with Fred Clayton and his band (he Irish folk music that precedes it isn't my thing, but others might find it perfect in this context). Also fun is the Monday night open mic with Rose Martin hosting - music starts at 7 and musicians might wish to arrive before 6:30 or so to secure a good time slot. read more

Osheas is a great little irish bar with a big heart. We stop in every trip up that way. Staff is friendly and quick to serve. Stopped in for dinner to find a very welcoming host and wonderful pub atmosphere. It is a very small pub so sitting is limited. It appears they do take reservations for parties of 4 or more. The bar area is small as is the waiting area. Parking lot fills up pretty quickly as well. The interior of the pub as well as the addition of music does make you feel as if you are in Ireland at a neighborhood pub. Music was provided by Back of the House Session consisting of fiddles, banjo. Parlor pipes and accordion. They have entertainment every evening starting around 5. We were seated promptly and provided menus that have an extensive starters, burgers/sandwiches, salads and entrees. Our server arrived quickly and took our drink orders (hard seltzer and margarita which came in a large glass and was plenty strong) on return we placed our entree orders; Irish lamb stew and shepherd's pie. Entrees arrived piping hot accompanied by a roll and butter. The shepherd's pie was loaded with ground beef, carrots, and potatoes in gravy topped with mashed potatoes that had been lightly browned. The depth of flavor in the gravy was beyond compare to any shepherd's pie we have ever had. The lamb stew, again had an amazing what I'll call gravy, nice and thick and deep flavor to it. Potatoes, turnip, parsnips, carrots, and leeks completed the stew with good chunks of lamb to round it all out. Both entrees we're incredible dishes and good for a cool night. We splurged on dessert and got the Bailey's bread pudding with ice cream and whipped cream on the side. As it's name implies the pudding was sitting in a shallow puddle of Bailey's. The pudding was very flavorful and moist and the addition of the Bailey's let it go down nice and easy. Highly recommend this pub if you want a good meal with very pleasant entertainment. It does get loud between the music and as the tables fill up so be prepared to speak up if you're trying to visit with friends. read more

Sad service tonight. Very disappointed five of us for dinner. One person got their dinner 20 minutes before anyone else. The waitress blamed us because we wanted separate checks and apparently that confused the kitchen? We all ordered at the same time with the one waitress it was her responsibility to bring the food out not the kitchen. Bad enough to have the food come out that way but to be rude and blame the customers way wrong. Also the food was not great.
