I ended up having to work dinners with different people scheduled for Alberto's for two days in a row. This check in was for our State dinner with our Maine delegates. We were 15 and made a reservation. The staff was great handling the group so well. The food was great and and in the end we needed 15 separate checks because of our corp cards. No problem. What a great experience and meal. Thank you.

I ordered the tortellini and you can tell it was frozen. There was water on my plate.

Went there tonight I was very disappointed with the food. tasted awful. I ordered the tortellini there was water on my plate. It was probably frozen and they put it in the microwave. This place used to be so good.

We had a free night before continuing our trip the next day. Let's have Italian. I made a last minute reservation on Opentable for party of five. The main entrance is actually located on the left side of the building. We entered and were immediately led to a great table in the main dining room facing the street. Our server came over to ask about drinks or starters. We started with calamari. I asked about the $10 off if checked in on Yelp for dinner for four (we were five). He ran it by the manager and gave the green light. For our dinner entrees- * hubby and I both got the clams, mussels, and calamari fra diavolo over linguine. Plenty of seafood and pasta. I gave some to my daughter. * daughter got the shrimp and scallops florentina over baby spinach * sis and BIL shared mussels and ragu with angel hair pasta. Dinner was perfect. Ingredients were fresh. We enjoyed everything we had. We skipped dessert as we had a huge lunch earlier in the day. Upon completion of dinner we walked back to our hotel at the Doubletree. It took under 15 minutes. Make sure you've got a flashlight even though there's street lights. .

Our server was fabulous. We had a table of eleven people. The restaurant is very nice and even though it seats many it doesn't appear crowded. My friend and I split the Pate, bruschetta and the eggplant.. All were fantastic. Our left overs were packaged up beautifully and bagged. A wonderful meal!

I went for dinner at the bar on a Thursday night and there was a pianist playing. It was at the perfect sound level so you could easily have a conversation. I started with the truffle stuffed gnocchi. The stuffed gnocchi is not made in house. The sauce was delicious and the gnocchi like little soft pillows. The chicken Ala vodka needed more flavor. I had to add crushed red pepper. The grilled veggies for $8 were sliced zucchini, carrots and yellow squash. It was a small serving for $8, but good quality. The desserts are made in house. I had the chocolate trio cake and it was delicious. Layers of white chocolate, dark and milk. The bartenders did a good job managing the bar and side tables. The restaurant has an elegant vibe to it.

We had a wonderful experience here a couple of weeks ago, for my mom's birthday. Reservations are super easy to make, and when we arrived we were seated right away. Our table was in a smaller room, so felt more intimate and quiet, and the restaurant had decorations up, so it looks very festive inside. On to the food, we started with the calamari, which was generously portioned and very tasty. I ordered the pear martini - which was very good (grey goose pear, grapefruit juice, grand marnier and a touch of ginger ale). For entrees, I had the seafood manicotti, which is made with homemade pasta, stuffed with lobster, shrimp, scallops and cheese, with a tomato, mozzarella, and bechamel sauce which was very good. My mom ordered the chicken capri, which was very generously portioned with breaded chicken, shrimp, lobster meat and asparagus, with a brandy pink peppercorn sauce that was very tasty. It was so generously sized, she ended up taking half of it home. Our server was great, and everyone was so friendly. We will absolutely be back to explore more of the menu!

Dined alfresco at Alberto's with my little dog Roo. Chose the prefix menu. Mussels/Scrod/cheesecake for dessert. All delicious!

Enjoyed late lunch/early dinner alfresco with my little dog. The food and the service were excellent! Glad I chose this spot to watch the world go by.

Hosted a baby shower for 50 people here in July. Darko the owner from the booking till the completion of our shower was fantastic. Always present, available from start to finish to answer any questions and went out of his way along with his wife and wait staff to make this shower wonderful. The food was outstanding, the room beautiful he wait staff so attentive. our guests sent several messages the next day complementing the room, food and wait staff. I cannot thank everyone enough for making this event perfect for our family and friends. We appreciated all your efforts. 5 starts in every category. Thank you all so much.

When I couldn't decide on a cocktail, Sandra readily recommended the Grapefruit Martini -- it was delicious and totally the right call, Hubby's Tito's Cosmo was also well-made. For dinner, Hubby had the Chicken Parm - it was enormous and delicious, chicken was cooked well and the homemade pasta was a perfect al dente. The sauce was very good, but there was too much cheese for his taste, an easy fix to move to the side. There was plenty to take home for a second meal so it was an even better value. I chose the Spinach Salad, which was fresh and tasty with artichokes and goat cheese. Again, it was a generous portion for a very good price. We rarely indulge in dessert but we were convinced to try the homemade Tiramisu and it was amazing, just the way I make it myself. It's very hard to find a Tiramisu that is so authentic. We absolutely recommend Tumi, based on our experience it would be had to make a bad decision from their menu.

We got complimentary bruschetta that is toasted well and delicious. Tried the tuna ceviche for the first time. The lime juice gave it good flavor and was a good appetizer. Let me start by saying that they make some of the BEST fried calamari I have had (and I have eaten my weight and hubbys weight in fried calamari in a lifetime!). Their wine list is impressive as are their poisons on the wall of thirst. Service is LOVELY, absolutely LOVELY. And then comes dinner. Old school italo-american, classic mom and pop food. Nothing wrong with that, but it better be better than my own or others (Such as Colombo down the road). My husband ordered the bolognese with their home-made parppadelle. The bolognese needed a couple more (a lot more hours) to cook down, was very acidic and was lacking the punch of creaminess you get from breaking it down with ... MILK... We had high hopes, but the pasta was overcooked and a bit gummy. I had the veal picatta. Veal nice and tender, soggy but tender. The sauce confused me because it was heavy handed on the rosemary. Rosemary overload can be offensive, and while it didn't get there, it almost did. Garlic to a FAULT (yay, thats a GOOD thing), but the capellini pasta was way overcooked, almost baby food consistency on the chew. IM SO SORRY!!!!!!! I wanted to love it, because their focaccia was superb! I have a feeling that maybe a sandwich on that bread would be GREAT for a lunch. Portions are generous, so they are good for sharing or take home. Unfortunately, I tossed the pasta and made a sandwich with the left over veal - yea it was good. The staff is WONDERFUL and are very proud of what they do. So at least come in for appetizers and some really good drinks or a nice glass of wine!
