Love this restaurant one of my favorites on the Cape. The owners really care about there customers

Very large and spacious restaurant. I was so hungry after a long drive that I did not manage to take any photos of the interiors. The dining area was gorgeous and had an upscale feel. The room we were seated in had a lovely fireplace. Our server Rosa was so kind and we enjoyed the service she provided Bread and olive oil was served with our meal. We both loved our entrees which included pasta and broccoli. The Marsala sauce was perfectly savory. I was using it to dip my bread in once I finished the meal. Great all around! read more

We had a tour group that took us to a prix fixe menu here. We got to choose between FISH or SHORT RIB for our mains. The short rib was AMAZING! The dish ABSOLUTELY SUCKED! It tasted bland like water, absolutely NO FLAVOR. However, the dessert was one of the best desserts I had all trip! It was a white chocolate shell and filled with goodness. I'd pass on this restaurant based on the meal I had here with my tour group. Unimpressed. read more

I ended up having to work dinners with different people scheduled for Alberto's for two days in a row. This check in was for our State dinner with our Maine delegates. We were 15 and made a reservation. The staff was great handling the group so well. The food was great and and in the end we needed 15 separate checks because of our corp cards. No problem. Overall the service was good. The waitress was really nice and took our order quickly. The restaurant was very clean and looked nice. The food was pretty good but it wasn't seasoned at all. The steak was very good quality, but no seasoning at all. I expect a market price steak to have some seasoning on it, at least salt and pepper. The food was ok. It was not anything special and very overpriced. I got the shrimp and scallop dish with spinach. It came with 2 small scallops and 3 shrimp. I was still very hungry after finishing this meal that cost $28. Not worth it. Other family members got pasta dishes that were very mediocre, and you can tell everything is from Sysco and just prepared in a microwave. Genuinely just not worth the price. The deserts were pretty tasty, but just not homemade. For the price, some things should at least be homemade. read more

We had a free night before continuing our trip the next day. Let's have Italian. I made a last minute reservation on Opentable for party of five. The main entrance is actually located on the left side of the building. We entered and were immediately led to a great table in the main dining room facing the street. Our server came over to ask about drinks or starters. We started with calamari. I asked about the $10 off if checked in on Yelp for dinner for four (we were five). He ran it by the manager and gave the green light. For our dinner entrees- * hubby and I both got the clams, mussels, and calamari fra diavolo over linguine. Plenty of seafood and pasta. I gave some to my daughter. * daughter got the shrimp and scallops florentina over baby spinach * sis and BIL shared mussels and ragu with angel hair pasta. Dinner was perfect. Ingredients were fresh. We enjoyed everything we had. We skipped dessert as we had a huge lunch earlier in the day. Upon completion of dinner we walked back to our hotel at the Doubletree. Our server was fabulous. We had a table of eleven people. The restaurant is very nice and even though it seats many it doesn't appear crowded. Dined here last night, this has always been a favorite stop for us. The atmosphere is so pretty, upscale, perfect for a special night out. Our Server was excellent, so friendly and very attentive. We ordered the bruschetta for an appetizer, it was tasty, good portion easily would feed six people. We also ordered shrimp cocktail was just okay, they were very fresh, but were small, and the cocktail sauce was a bit watery. For the entrees, we got the Salmon with sun dried tomatoes special, "one of the best salmon dishes I have ever had" second entree, penne and meatballs, absolutely delicious! Third entree, chicken marsala, not so great, sauce was so watery and no flavor, same for the my dish which was the Sorrentino chicken and eggplant in a maderia sauce, again, like the chicken marsala, no flavor for the sauce and very watery. We will come again, I still gave it 4 stars, we love it here, it's a big menu, with lots to choose from! read more

Made a reservation for my wife's birthday and requested front room corner table!! Nailed it. Seated at reservation time and quickly acknowledged by staff. Our waiter Emil was awesome. The food was spectacular. We shared an appy of Farcite Nepolatano (sp?) and it was awesome. I had papperadelle with meatballs. I have never had a better tasting meatball. The pasta was homemade. My wife had a house salad that was very fresh and correctly dressed. My wife had the Sinatra which was loaded with chicken and it was to die for. All in all EXCELLENT!! read more

I went for dinner at the bar on a Thursday night and there was a pianist playing. It was at the perfect sound level so you could easily have a conversation. I started with the truffle stuffed gnocchi. The stuffed gnocchi is not made in house. The sauce was delicious and the gnocchi like little soft pillows. The chicken Ala vodka needed more flavor. I had to add crushed red pepper. The grilled veggies for $8 were sliced zucchini, carrots and yellow squash. It was a small serving for $8, but good quality. The desserts are made in house. I had the chocolate trio cake and it was delicious. Layers of white chocolate, dark and milk. The bartenders did a good job managing the bar and side tables. We had a wonderful experience here a couple of weeks ago, for my mom's birthday. Reservations are super easy to make, and when we arrived we were seated right away. Our table was in a smaller room, so felt more intimate and quiet, and the restaurant had decorations up, so it looks very festive inside. On to the food, we started with the calamari, which was generously portioned and very tasty. I ordered the pear martini - which was very good (grey goose pear, grapefruit juice, grand marnier and a touch of ginger ale). For entrees, I had the seafood manicotti, which is made with homemade pasta, stuffed with lobster, shrimp, scallops and cheese, with a tomato, mozzarella, and bechamel sauce which was very good. My mom ordered the chicken capri, which was very generously portioned with breaded chicken, shrimp, lobster meat and asparagus, with a brandy pink peppercorn sauce that was very tasty. It was so generously sized, she ended up taking half of it home. Our server was great, and everyone was so friendly. We will absolutely be back to explore more of the menu! read more

food was good for the area. beach vacation sports I feel never have amazing amazing food. what really took away stars was the service. for our family of 4, we were there for 2 hours on a min busy night. every step was too long. after we received our food he never checked back to ensure our meals were correct the. we sat there, finished for at least 20 minutes. he had other tables outside (we were inside) and I truly feel like he forgot about us. our drinks went unfilled as well. i had to finally ask for our check because we finished our meal and there was no signs of him. he brought us our check, never said any goodbyes or have a nice night; just dropped the check and left. it was wild. read more

We met my cousins whom we haven't seen in years at Alberto's last Sunday evening. Everything was spectacular! The service was impeccable, the food was delectable and fit for a gourmet! The fireplaces were warm and glowing creating a pleasant Winter atmosphere of coziness inside. Outside the temperature plummeted but who cares when you're warm, your bellies are full with some of the best food on the Cape and your with people you love and make you laugh. Went with a large group of 9. We had a reservation and check in was quick and easy. Waiter slow and hard to communicate. He didn't speak very good English so it was hard to relay what we wanted. We got the Bread with olives and it was outstanding. Penne Ala vodka portions were good sized but it wasn't super flavorful. Chicken parm was average. Best Cesar salad I've ever had! Don't skip that. Hosted a baby shower for 50 people here in July. Darko the owner from the booking till the completion of our shower was fantastic. Always present, available from start to finish to answer any questions and went out of his way along with his wife and wait staff to make this shower wonderful. The worst meal I've had. Got the veal capri. Hardly any cream sauce or seafood on it at all. Very tough veal on all three dishes. I had an amazing salad today at Alberto's Restaurante in Hyannis. I am a single woman, and we do not always get the best treatment or tables, but I was served by Tulio and he took very good care of me. I'm on Weight Watchers so I'm very careful about what I eat, and I had their Amalfi Salad which had roasted portobello mushrooms, artichoke hearts, roasted marinated peppers, and white sardines, in addition to salad greens and shaved Parmesan. I had the balsamic vinaigrette on the side since I usually bring my own fat-free dressing, but I tasted it, and it was lovely. In addition, all of the ingredients were abundant, fresh, and delicious! I had an add-on of grilled chicken, and it was a huge portion, at least 8 ounces,comparatively to other restaurants in the vicinity. Alberto's is one of the few Italian gems on Cape Cod. Location is perfect, right on Main Street in Hyannis with a backside entrance. This makes it extra convenient because you can park in the large lot behind without fighting for parking. They take reservations, which we always make, but even on busy nights, they always tend to get you in quickly. Atmosphere is lovely and perfect for family gatherings. We most often come with a party of 8 and request the large round table. We love it. Service is always impeccable and food is always quick and deliciously prepared. Some of our favorites: Fried Calamari Truffle Gnocchi Caesar Salad We also like the Bruschetta appetizer and many of our family members always get the filet. Last night we opted for the Prix Fixe menu which is offered until 5:30pm and it was a fantastic bang for your buck. Appetizer, entree and dessert for $37.99 with generous portions. Alberto's impresses yet again as before even entering, vibrant well-nurtured flower beds show an abiding commitment to care and guest satisfaction. Inside, much the same. Since every menu item is carefully prepared and top notch, my wife and I wanted to try new dishes. Just after noon, we requested a quiet booth and soon Tulio, our beloved server, greeted us with his trademark smile, warm bread and olives, and icy waters. Immediately, we relaxed savoring the Mediterranean ambiance and chic sounds. Of course, my wife's hefty Cucumber Fizz Martini, adroitly prepared by Courtney, and my gentle generous Chianti assisted here. Then, our appetites whetted, my wife opted for the pepper-crusted Salmon Portofino, a thick cut of moist tender fish stop a heap of creamy mashed garlic potatoes and a steamed veggie medley; she shared and it was all most delectable! Since I hadn't tried their Vongole, whole clams over linguine (or even better, home made pappardela noodles), I tried it. And a memorable seafood lover's feast soon arrived: a dozen or so tender clams (enhanced by a light garlic-herb-wine sauce over a mound of light noodles. (So tasty, next time, I may opt for the Red Sauce!) For dessert, we split a large spumoni, drizzled with hot fudge inside a dark chocolate shell. Now that's a delectable finish! And always, service lively as the flowers and in a most hospitable atmosphere. read more

My family and I had dinner here and left without dessert. The restaurant is clean, the food quality is very good, and the service was good. However, the portions are way over priced. $30 chicken parm and $30 for chicken fettuccine Alfredo, I expect to have a big full plate. I had a cup of pasta and the smallest and thinnest chicken parm I've ever seen. It was very tasty, especially the red sauce. The only other thing that bothered us was the restaurant was very warm. Like 75+ degrees while drinking wine and eating hot food, to the point of having to go outside twice to cool down. My whole family complained of being hot, and it was like 60 out. So check the temp for your diners. read more

When we went to Cape Cod for the summer of 2025, I discovered that the Pomodoro Gnocchi was very much delicious. It was so good that I ate almost all of the pasta. For dessert, the tiramisu was a fine choice since the icing was sweetened cream cheese on top. read more

The Price Fixe dinner was a tremendous bargain. The food was excellent. The Toscano with shrimp and chicken greatly accented with veggies and penne pasta. Finished with the triple chocolate cake. Brought 85 people, 2 bus loads, to the restaurant tonight. The food was good and the service was good. However the hostess was awful. The buses were staggered, 15 minutes apart but each bus was 10-15 minutes ahead of schedule. Despite the fact that no one was in the room we reserved, the front desk manager would not allow the group in the restaurant and made the seniors wait outside in the 85 degree heat for an extra 10 minutes. These seniors, many who were 80+ years old had been outside all day and needed a break from the heat. I wouldn't recommend Alberto's for tour groups. read more

I was intrigued by Alberto's a few times we walked by on Main St, their lovely patio from which a delicious garlic/Italian smell emanated seemed too good to be true. I knew there was a catch. Was it a tourist trap? I would have to look into it later... We were actually craving Mexican and attempted to patronized one of the restaurants further down the street but we kept striking out. Alberto's had a reservation in 15 min later so I figured it was time to see whether it was the real deal. Spoiler alert: it is. The service was excellent from the host to the person clearing our plates. Everyone was on top of their shit and we didn't have to wait for anything. Firstly, the complimentary olives, oil, and bread they give you at the start of the meal is even good. Those olives were DELICIOUS. Nothing from the drink menu whispered my name and sangria is usually a safe choice so I went with the red sangria. GF, still thinking of Mexican, ordered the Barn Burner with pomegranate juice, tequila, lime juice, and sour mix. In all honesty, if I had a cat, they could make sangria better than this one. It wasn't my bag and I couldn't drink it. Fortunately, GF didn't mind it and we traded. Her Barn Burner wasn't the greatest drink I've ever had in my life but it was doable. We both ordered salads to start. After some serious deliberation, I settled on the Spinach Salad with baby spinach, toasted pecans, goat cheese, sun dried cherries, and a raspberry vinaigrette. I was hesitant to have a sweet salad to start but this was refreshing and the combo of the berry vinaigrette went very well with the creamy goat cheese. This was an excellent salad. GF ordered the Caesar salad which I was pleased to discover did not have a strong fishy taste. The romaine was fresh and crisp. I noticed she was specifically hunting down the croutons which indicates her opinion on that. For our mains, I ordered the classic eggplant Parmesan. I was disappointed to see the limited number of vegetarian options as entrees, the only other option was a papardelle which was homemade in a tomato garlic and oil sauce. The eggplant was absolutely slathered in melty mozzarella cheese. I am more acccustomed to eating this with spaghetti but they serve this with penne in a tasty tomato sauce and a few large broccoli florets which was a nice touch. GF ordered the seafood fra Diablo with mussels, clams, and calamari. Once she had her way with the seafood portion, she quickly ran out of space and I was happy to come up from behind and scoop up the rest of her spaghetti. I have never had this dish before and holy fucking shit it is INCREDIBLE. I not only shoveled a far portion of her noodles up but polished off the rest of the bread by soaking up that delicious sauce. Heaven. The excellent location, wonderful service, and solid food makes this spot a top contender in the area. read more
