We had my daughter's Wedding welcome reception at Dive, Dine & Drink. Our experience couldn't have been better . We rented out the porch and the dining room for a group of 50 people. Nicole (the owner) went above and beyond !! We went off the menu with some food choices and she was so helpful in helping us make those choices. The trays were constantly refilled and the presentation was amazing. She decorated with flowers that matched my daughter's wedding theme. Service was exceptional and we couldn't have chosen a better spot to start an amazing wedding weekend.. Highly recommend!! read more

Drinks were creative and good. Chicken piccata breading was great but sauce had no flavor. I ordered the whipped goat cheese app and they put two brown pieces of celery on my plate. I don't know how the kitchen could have let that go out. My salad was drowned in overly sweet dressing and was inedible. Overall disappointing. Update after owner response: I'm disappointed by the owner's response suggesting that I may not have actually dined at the restaurant. I was there for dinner on July 26. I was dining with another person who paid the bill, so naturally there would be no purchase associated with my name. The items described in my review are exactly what I was served. I wouldn't go back to be honest. We had the swordfish tips and steak ceasar salad. Both were extremely, extremely dry with little flavor. Service was slow and I noticed lots of inside tables looking around for their waiter as well, but wasn't busy at all. Drink were good! read more

4 plus. Our Tuesday evening experience was very positive. No seats were available but nice host suggested getting a drink as it was likely bar seats would open up. The lavender cocktail with vanilla vodka and Chambord was very good. We went here often with family when it was Castaways decades ago. Happy to see the rebranding but with the major bar focus, this is more of an adults place now. On a Tuesday in September crowd was older--not surprised. The Dive underwater theme works. We went to Dive Sunday 8/9 at around 6:00 . We sat at bar . Bartender was nice at first , we ordered food . Husband ordered a cup of chowder to start , after about 25 minutes. Chowder still didn't come out and then I asked for another round and bartender literally turned his back yo me and said " in a minute " I asked for check immediately. He knew he didn't put our food in . We live 5 minutes away from this restaurant. We've tried it three times . All have been disappointing. Will not return. , read more

We went for the first time (about a month ago) and sat on the front porch. The front porch was very cozy and there were puppies! We were excited to try the food because everything on the menu sounded delicious. We started with the Lobster Claw-ssant. Unfortunately it was very underwhelming for $29. There were a few pieces of lobster on top of a flat, sliced, croissant. We got the Dive Burger and it was very overcooked and again, underwhelming. Also got the Chicken Cutlet and the marinara tasted like it came straight out of a jar. The service was extremely slow and unprofessional. Our food also took a long time to come out and getting simple drink refills was a struggle. We spent way too much time and money here for a very mediocre experience. We may give it another try because they could've been having a bad night. read more

It was just average. I had a burger which came with fries, it was overcooked for how I like it and I always say rare or medium rare if asked. Others had more elaborate meals. I had $1 oysters-that was a bargain although not the largest I have seen. Nevertheless the price was right. Overall I felt it was overpriced for what you got. The decor was a bit gaudy and everywhere champagne advertising paraphernalia. There are so many restaurants to try on Cape Cod that unless a restaurant is outstanding, there is no need to return. read more

We visited Dive last week with our party of four. First impression: the décor was very nice, though be warned, it was fairly loud despite not being completely full. We ordered some drinks, apps and pizza to share, and both the food and cocktails were tasty. Things went downhill from there. Admittedly, we arrived close to closing, and when we ordered, we were told to get everything we might want because the kitchen would be closing soon. Fair enough. Before we finished our meal, our waitress handed us the bill, explaining she was heading out and asked if we could pay now. We did--no big deal. After we finished eating and were chatting, 90% of the lights in the room were abruptly turned off. No one had cleared our table or given us a heads-up that it was time to wrap up. A simple courtesy like that would have earned them one more star. Instead, it felt abrupt and a bit awkward--and it became a running joke for the rest of our vacation ("Better leave before they turn the lights out!"). Overall, the food and ambiance were good, but the staff could definitely improve their end-of-night customer service. read more

So glad DIVE has moved into the old Castaways spot! They did such a wonderful job with the design and remodel, it's a really cute place. The menu is very fun and modern, with lots of unique concepts, not your average "Capey" menu. We had the Chicken Parm Dip, and the Pepperoni & Hot Honey Pizza. Both were excellent! Next time, I would probably ask for a bit more ricotta & marinara for the Chicken Parm Dip, because the portion of chicken cutlet is quite large!! It would definitely satisfy as an entree. Good selections of reasonably priced beer, wine, and creative cocktails. A very welcome addition to the area!! read more

Well, it looked good on paper. But it was very disappointing. As soon as we sat down the whole experience was off. We sat outside since inside was insanely loud. But the ambience outside was no bargain either, it overlooks the parking lot with the road not far away, so we traded traffic noise for the clamor of the inside. Better...but just. The service was subpar, waiter took a long time to acknowledge us. The drink menu did not mention what style of beer each brewery was providing. In this day and age, diners want to know details of the beer they are ordering. Menu literally just listed the brewery, and to make matters worse, the waiter did not know what styles or the names the specific beers were. We were like "Is this an IPA? What style IPA?" It was very frustrating, and my gut feeling was we should leave immediately, because if they cannot provide decent information on something as simple as the beer selection, it's probably poorly managed all around and going to be bad experience. I should have listened to my gut. Then it got worse. After several questions my wife ordered the Wicked Weed, which I literally looked up on beer advocate and showed a picture of the can to the waiter and asked if this was the beer. He brought out a can of hard seltzer. Why TF was a can of hard seltzer listed under the beers? Finally she figured out SOMETHING to drink from the beer menu. I ordered the Me So Porky, and my wife ordered the grilled fruit salad with added scallops. We drank our beer. We would have ordered another but the waiter did not come back to check on us. Our empty glasses sat on the table for 10 minutes. Finally our entrees were delivered. The pork was overcooked, but not quite enough to send it back, and I was pretty hungry by then. The coconut rice was not cooked in coconut milk, it was just plain old jasmine rice with some dried coconut flakes scattered on it. The beans were not hot, warm at best, and kind of boring, but they were not a terrible recipe. My wife's salad was missing the goat cheese, and it had a couple pcs of barely grilled melon in it, and skewer of 4 small bay scallops. So a few pieces of greens, a few pcs of melon, and 4 small bay scallops for $38. They should be ashamed of themselves. We don't mind paying for good food, but this place was terrible. Portions were small, execution was sloppy, and some items came out undercooked while others were overly salty. Nothing tasted fresh or thoughtfully prepared--just rushed and careless. For what they charge, I expected far better. The atmosphere didn't help. The dining room was extremely loud, making conversation difficult and adding to the overall stress of the experience rather than enjoyment. Taken together--slow service, mediocre food, poor value, and an uncomfortable environment--this was an easy decision not to return. I was so looking forward to the opening of this restaurant especially since it is less than a 5 minute walk from my house. I went with 4 other people the first week it opened and sat inside. The food was average as was the service but thought that is to be expected since it was a new restaurant. Then my husband and I went again last week and sat outside. The hostess that greeted us seemed less than thrilled to be there. We both ordered the me so porky and it was just ok. Given the lack luster attitude, loud atmosphere inside and tight space outside, and just average cuisine we probably won't be returning any time soon. read more

Brand new place and it is AWESOME! What a gem!!! We live in Chatham all year round and consider ourselves foodies. This restaurant is off the charts!! From the service to the ambiance it is simply amazing. 3 highlights: Lobster bisque light and delicious with a couple of surprise flavors. The deconstructed lobster roll appetizer with the melted vanilla butter was spectacular, and finally the burger is the best we have had in years!! WE ARE SO EXCITED FOR THIS AMAZING NEW PLACE. Been here a few times and I keep going back, purely because of the food, staff, and environment. It's been a wonderful addition to local area. It's nice to see enthusiasm for delicious drinks and food. I think one thing Cape lacks is a creative menus when you go out, thankfully not here. I love their steak tips and their fig pasta dish. Thank you for the good experience and the past few times I was there, Chelsea the bartender made a good drink. The waitstaff was very attentive, and the atmosphere was nice, but the food was quite overpriced for the quality and the time it took to receive our items. To be fair, waitstaff notified our party that there would be a long kitchen wait, though we ended up waiting about 55 minutes for our party of 5's entrees. Small pieces of meat are sold for $18+, whether they are central to the main or additional to items like salads. Other items are simply below reasonable expectations. Visited DIVE on Route 28 in Harwich on Friday, May 22. Food, drinks were very good, as was the service (wait staff). HERE IS WHY I WON'T EVER GO BACK! Dive offered a special Memorial Day menu. Listed on that menu were side dishes for the special handhelds (fancy word for sandwiches) that included baked beans and pasta salad. I ordered the Lobster BLT for $36 with the baked beans as a side. The waitress returned to the table to apologetically and politely tell me the baked beans was NOT available as a side to the lobster BLT sandwich. She asked if I wanted fries or house chips as a side. I did not really want either because we had already had the flight of fries as an appetizer (it was a good choice). I asked if I could have coleslaw or anything else instead. The waitress then checked with MANAGEMENT. The answer was I could "substitute" the baked beans for a $3 UPCHARGE. Excuse me? I'm paying $36 for a sandwich and now you want to UPCHARGE me for a side I'm supposed to get at NO CHARGE according to your own MENU?! But yeah, the management is atrocious. And because of this, I won't ever go back, nor will I recommend Dive to friends or to repeat renters of my Harwich home. Don't patronize Dive unless you enjoy being treated like garbage by the ownership. read more

Upon arrival at Dive, the hostess was condescending when we ask if it would be warmer or colder outside, her comment was "well you just came from outside". We chose to eat outside as the AC was probably 60 degrees. Our waiter was fantastic! I ordered a spicy margarita. When it arrived it was mostly ice cubes. I ordered a second one and ask not to add so much ice. The second one was full of slush ice. My son ordered the steak tips (delicious) and my husband ordered the swordfish tips (they arrived cold), my blue cheese burger was good. My son ordered a vodka and tonic with lemon. Due to fact that all the glassware is the same glass when the waiter came to refill our water glasses, he filled the remaining vodka and tonic with water. Very pricey and a so-so meal. Suggestion: Please put some infrared heaters on your deck. read more

We waited for the summer rush to quiet down and went here for dinner . The decor was very nice. However it was extremely loud. I felt like we had to shout to be heard. Our waiter was nice and did try, but he came and told us the bar was busy and it would be another five minutes for our drinks. My pasta entree was quite a small portion and only lukewarm. It desperately needed salt!!! My husband had steak tips and the potatoes were ice cold. My friends had turkey burgers which were dry. So much nicer inside and out than the previous establishment. Bright and colorful, but gets loud when it fills up. We haven't sat anywhere other than the bar but the bartenders are efficient and friendly. Excellent mixed drinks, can't remember the name but the Lolo tequila drink with blueberry was amazing. We tried the Corn rib appetizer, as well as the Poppin Shells. Corn ribs were different but good with bbq sauce for dipping. One of our party was a little confused and ate the whole thing. Poppin shells sounded great but was a bit disappointing, shrimp and scallops were tiny but well seasoned. I had the Me so Porky and it was delicious, wife had the Watermelon wedge salad with steak tips which was good but actually a bit light on lettuce. Pricing is about what you'd expect. We were a group of four last weekend, and none of us will return. The noise level was jarring: low ceiling, large bar, and recorded music. Very difficult to listen to anyone at our table - had to strain to hear and ask people to repeat themselves. Two of us ordered skewers with coconut rice, but they brought the wrong skewers. They flipped two skewers with another order, so we got the right skewers but not the coconut rice we ordered. Sparkling water? Not available. Water glass not refilled for anyone at table. A second glass of wine arrived after the end of the meal, though waitress came by twice (no water pitcher, though!) to tell us the glass of wine would be coming soon. Shrimp on skewers was undercooked. That can happen if orders are being rushed. Dessert menu? The four of us got one menu. Small, but telling. Oh, one of the three dessert items was not available (restaurant open for less than an hour). On the way out, I overheard one customer tell the water to take back the beer he had brought out because it was not the one he ordered. Not good. If the noise is too much, there is a view of a parking lot. The owner walked around to talk with customers, but he could have done better by lending a hand. Nothing here was good. read more

Went there with friends a couple of weeks ago. Blueberry drink was excellent. Young bartender did not know how to make a drink on the menu. When we were seated, our waitress, Kiera, was excellent. Our wives' dinners came out 20 minutes before my friend and my pizzas, (mine was decent, my friend's was soggy) and the wives were finished with their meals before ours came out. The most unsettling part of the evening was the owner. She patrolled the venue with an unsmiling sour puss on her face. She didn't acknowledge her wait staff who would smile at her, nor did she make any effort to interact with any diners (except her 'friends' who had the only reserved seats, a high-top in the bar area). She has a lot to learn about the hospitality industry, (like having some hospitality). One would think a new establishment owner would make the rounds among her patrons to make sure everything is fine, like real professional owners/chefs do. read more
