    Manhattan
    Van V.

A simple space with a bar, high tops, a good vibe, friendly bartender. I was at this place when it was two previous restaurants, so interesting to see its latest redo. Say yes to the Jayne burger if you need a burger. Great looking cocktail menu but I just needed a Manhattan. Perfectly made. Met nice people at the bar including a fellow hiking enthusiast and a mother and daughter. They are excited to be having daughter's rehearsal dinner at Drifters later this summer. I get it!

The best clam chowder I've had so far in the Cape!!

Drifters is a cozy little spot tucked away in Chatham, and I'm so glad we gave it a try for dinner on a Friday night. When we arrived, the place was a bit busy, and it wasn't immediately clear whether we should seat ourselves--there was no sign or host at the entrance, which made for a slightly confusing start. But once we got past that minor hiccup, everything else was fantastic. Our waiter was a total home run--friendly, conversational, and made us feel completely welcome from the get-go. He gave great recommendations, too. We started with drinks, one of which was a carrot cocktail--yes, carrot--and it absolutely knocked my socks off. I never imagined I'd enjoy carrot in a drink, but here I am, still thinking about it now that I'm back home. So unique and surprisingly delicious. I also had their award-winning clam chowder, and after sampling four different chowders in the area during our trip, this one easily took the top spot for me--rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. We kept it simple for entrées: a Caesar salad and a burger. Both were excellent. The Caesar came with whole romaine leaves instead of being chopped, which was a cool and unexpected touch. The burger? Cooked medium rare, just as ordered, and seasoned to perfection. Since we visit the Cape often, I'm already looking forward to coming back to Drifters. Next time, I'm showing up hungrier so I can try more of their menu. This place is a gem.

Drifter Burger and Fish and Chips

Amazing burger and truffle fries, along with fish and chips! The pickles on the burger are killer. Great music and vibes. Donut holes with diet ice cream lol for the finisher. Good times!

You feel very welcomed coming to Drifters. Everyone is so openly friendly. You feel like you are visiting a friend. I started with a Manhattan that was delicious and served in a perfect old fashion glass. My husband started with the clam chowder which was not your traditional thick and gooey broth. This was thin with plenty of cream but had an amazing flavor of clams and possibly sherry. A+. It also had finely chopped fresh vegetables. I had the quinoa and farro dish loaded with roasted vegetables and herbs finished with a cream sauce. Excellent. I liked that it was different from most cape cod restaurants and the focus was on fresh ingredients.

    The quintessential Buffalo Wing!
    Richard C.

Simple bar located on the outskirts of Chatham. Lots of draft beer. My main reason for visiting were their famous Buffalo Wings. They were outstanding!!! Big (but not too big) juicy and well cooked with crisp skin, and the Wing sauce was classic hot sauce and butter. No strange additions to the sauce - this IS the definitive Buffalo Wing

If you are anywhere near Chatham stop by Drifters. The drinks are incredible, we are from NYC and the creative drinks rival some of the best cocktail bars, Dylan the owner is incredibly hospitable and the food, the food is next level we tried the wings, crab cakes, Cesar salad, spicy green beans and the clam chowder, all were worthy of a second visit. It is a new staple for our trips down the cape. Also they are open late with a full menu, no one on the cape does this!! Dylan has struck gold, be sure to give them a try!

Place is fantastic!!! Whoever is running this place knows what's up. Well thought out drinks and food. Looks a little dark from the outside and we stepped in and it was super cozy. Got the espresso martinis.. very good and not too sweet. Real espresso and none of that creamy baileys crap. Also tried the Pimms and the Clementine. Both fantastic. Clementine was the perfect citrus with smokey mezcal. Food menu looked fabulous and the people working in the back know what they are doing and we saw them working hard putting out really nice looking food. Windows around the outside of the restaurant letting a nice breeze in and candles giving a really chill ambiance. They have an outside rail where you can sit outside of the actual bar but just hang and have a drink. Best drinks of our Cape trip! Go support them it's a place that actually is putting out good food and drink in the area. Not on the main street but not crazy far off either.

This place is really good! They have only been open for a couple days but you would never know it. Relaxing atmosphere and food quality that can't be beat. So good that we came back the next night for more. Owners are really friendly and go out of their way to satisfy your dining experience. Nice drinks too!

Great food! They've only been open 9 days. We were in town visiting from Boston. I'm so glad we tried this restaurant. We had the olives, calamari, bruschetta and wings. All were excellent. It's fun to try a new restaurant before it gets crowded. This one will draw a crowd soon so try it when you can still get a table. Some kinks to work out during the opening but we'll be back for sure.

    Culture Club
    Laurie P.

An early lunch allowed us to have the place to ourselves, a plus. Kyla was our server doing double duty getting things ready for the day. We both ordered the Culture Club, mine without mayo. Very tasty and filling. Next time I'll ask for the toast to be buttered as it was quite dry without mayo, but that was not an issue. Enjoyed the background music. Good value. Will be back to try dinner after Labor Day.

    Mushroom toastata. Must have.

The homemade dressing is on point. If you are in the mood for a Caesar, this is a great place to get it Meal Side Scallops & Gnocchi. Wow this dish was sooo good. The Truffle Parm Cream sauce and Gnocchi were special. Delicious Balsamic Glaze on the sides as well The Mad Tuna - Tuna dish was out of this world. So fresh!! Tuna was the star and they seared it perfectly. This was a great cut and fresh piece of Tuna. The sauces around the plate accompanied everything well too. I liked the Wasabi, Sweet Soy & Yuzu for the Tuna. I enjoyed the Spicy Mayo & Avocado smash for the Rice Balls. My only complaint was that it could have used a little more Tuna and one extra rice ball. The rest of my party seemed full from their meals while I found myself searching for more Crab Cake Sando - Delicious but the Crab Cake Tater Tots felt like enough Crab for the cape. This was a great kids dish Final Bill There was a 3.75% charge for using a credit card, 2% added tip for the cooking team and then line for tip. It just all gets out of hand quickly. In my opinion, these aren't cheap meals and too many restaurants now adays are pushing extra operational costs onto the customer when the meal prices seem high enough. What happens if we got drinks too?
