Pam and Scott are excellent hosts and will make your stay enjoyable. The Inn is a historic building and as such has a lot of charm, the grounds are well kept with the back of the property bordering the Paluxy river. Also at the back of the property overlooking the Paluxy is Snyder's Tavern where lunch, dinner and drinks are served. In the morning you'll get to enjoy breakfast in the dining room which is included in the cost of your stay. One thing to note is that the rooms do not feature TV's which was not a big deal to us. A comfortable bed and private bathroom should be mentioned. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning.

Parking can get pretty tight for some events, but they always have a trolley that runs to/from extra parking at the park across the street. This is definitely a gem for the City of Granbury to have and the location next to the Hilton and just before you hit the Square is perfect for visitors to get to.

Security - there's no way as customary to secure the door from inside, no dead bolt, no latch, no door block on jam, nothing, not even a "do not disturb" to hang on door. So we're there an hour before woman walks in as we're lying on the bed gawking at us, and because the rooms are incredibly small (only window for natural light closed drapes behind tall headboard, coffin-like dark small room) the door and the woman are only 3 feet from the bed as she's basically standing at the end of the bed gawking at us and then shutting door. Noise - there's approx 2 inch gap from bottom of door to floor, so inside the room you hear all the sound from other guests and the restaurant as if they're in the room with you. Insects - for the few hours we stayed until we promptly checked out and went elsewhere, we saw cockroaches at the coffee station, that with the door gaps meant bugs were free to go from room to room to restaurant, including the multiple flying bugs of different kinds that were in our room. Service - we let hosts know (all online, no staff on site) that we were checking out for issues and requested refund. The one time we actually got a call back and spoke to a human, it was broken English (China?), and had to follow up on issues and request for refund again, and then never heard back. We went and stayed elsewhere, paying for two hotels that night, and never heard back from Nutt House.

Anytime I texted the number they provided, we got a quick response. We never felt like we were on our own or couldn't get help if we needed it. The amenities were great too. The free coffee bar was perfect in the mornings, and having an ice machine and elevator made everything easy. The complimentary aluminum water bottle was such a thoughtful touch. And definitely make a reservation at Christina's on the ground floor of the building. The food was fantastic and such a convenient bonus to have right there. I was a little worried about parking, but there is tons of street parking available. No problems at all. If you're looking for a cozy, unique place with tons of charm, this is it. Of course me not knowing what to do, Amber was contacted by the venue owner and boy did she jump right in! She got to the venue as soon as she could and in an hour meeting got more done and organized that my previous coordinator had over the course of a year. She was precise, fast, and such a joy to work with. She helped decorate and make sure that everything was in order to had over to another coordinator for the evening of my wedding. She got my bridal party through rehearsal and the came back the next morning. My wedding day would not have happened without her and thank goodness for her. The food was late being delivered and we received no phone call to advise us that they were running late!!!! We had to call them!!!! The food was not hot nor did they bring us anything to warm it up with. The chicken breast were beyond dry!!!! Desert sand with tumbleweed blowing in the wind comes to mind when I describe and visualize just how dry the chicken was!!!! Dessert was not what the desert we ordered and appeared to have been store bought, frozen, and been thawed out, but yet we we're charged $51.00 for an $8.00 store bought cake. The Red Diamond tea was store bought for $2.88 at Wal-mart, but we were charged $18.00 for two gallons. They brought no serving utensils for any of the food items we ordered. The dinner plates, forks, knives, spoons, and cups were brought with enough for 18 people, but there was not enough napkins for 18 people and there were no dessert plates. The chicken was hella dry. The roasted potato's were hard as a rock, were not completely cooked, and could have been used as a weapon. The only positive thing about the entire catering experience was that the asparagus was good and cooked. I will never ever ever ever ever use this company for any event personally or professionally. This was the first time using them and it was an EPIC fail in supporting local business!!!!
