We spoke with Gene from Oahu Party Bus, along with several party bus companies before deciding on OPB- and it was the BEST decision ever. The initial communication was a strong selling point. He was patient with all my back and forth questions, making suggestions when my ideas were withering. There were 13 of us doing a birthday-bachelorette party, during the covid period. Turns out we didn't need to wait in a two hour line for a "seating only" bar/restaurant. The bus was the perfect club. Our driver, Carlos, was amazing. He was funny, knowledgeable, and watched out for us whenever we got off the bus for bathroom and fresh air breaks. We went to diamond head lookout, sandy beach park, Waikiki.... he showed up early for pickup and didn't rush us at all about wrapping up the night. We had cocktails and shots and dancing and laughing all night, and we didn't spend a penny after renting the bus (aside from the driver tip). Sound/ video system was top notch, bus was sparkling clean and blasting cold air all night (nobody even got sweaty from all their time on the pole ), there's nothing they could've improved. OPB was the BEST decision ever!! We've booked other places before but no one can beat the excellent customer service and great prices!! We booked a keiki package for my son's 9th birthday. Gene took care of the reservation and even met us on the day of our event to escort us to the different activities. But I must say that our driver JASON provided superb customer service throughout the entire day. He was humble, efficient, on-time. Reserved the bus for an end of the year Christmas party for my Meetup group. There were 25 of us. I reserved the bus all the way back in September, all I had to pay was a $200 deposit. I called two days before the bus to let the company know our starting place and that we had planned to circle the island. When I called the person I talked to rushed me off the phone telling me the driver would call the day before our bus (Friday for a Saturday bus) and that we could go wherever we wanted and stop wherever we wanted. The driver Stewart called me 2 hours before the bus start time asking where to meet. We originally were going to meet at Ala Moana but he explained that Ala Moana was starting to crack down on parking and leaving so we decided to meet at Ward. We met half the party at Ward and the other half at SALT at Kakaako. He asked where we planned on going and I said to circle the island. He seemed surprised and once we were on our way he said he had to stop for gas because he didn't know we were going to circle the island...so we stopped for gas and then Stewart told us we could have another hour since he had to make the stop. I really appreciated it. The problem was, after we got gas he went East and we stopped at the Blowhole and got out to see the night sky and what we could, then we stopped at Sandy Beach to get out and stretch our legs. Instead of heading around, he drove us back to Honolulu. Our next stop was Diamond Head, and not being from here I really didn't have a grasp on where we were. One of the people on the bus is local and she was confused asking why we weren't going to the North Shore. Stewart said we didn't have time because we had made stops. The thing was, nobody asked to make those stops. I asked to circle the island, I never mentioned stopping. Had I known it was going to be an issue with the stops I would have asked him to keep going. But not being from here I figured starting at 6:45 in Honolulu would be plenty of time to circle the island with an original ending time of 11 extended to midnight. A lot of people on the bus were disappointed. I didn't necessarily care because I didn't really know either way, but knowing that what I asked for wasn't followed was disappointing. I think everyone on the bus had fun for the most part, and I do appreciate Stewart's patience with a large party of drinkers. I think things would have gone smoother if the stuff had been set days earlier, I didn't realize saying circle the island wasn't enough I guess an itinerary would've been better. Oh well, I'd try again, with a smaller party. read more

Let me provide you some history; originally booked and paid in full (because I didn't want any issues) a party bus for my daughter's senior prom in May of 2020. If you get 24 people the cost to rent the Phantom bus is about $30 a person. This is our 2nd time chartering oahu party bus and it did not disappoint. Our driver Charlie was super friendly, professional, and even provided A cooler with ice for I mixed drinks. They have a really good sound system and selection of music we can also plug in your phone to play your music. Keep in mind when you are planning the size of the bus and parking situation for where ever you want to stop. We get picked up at Ala Moana shopping center and drove through Waikiki, Diamond Head, Kahala and back. Honestly nobody really cares where you go because the party is inside the bus. Just make sure you plan for bathroom breaks at public parks etc. And be careful drinking outside of the bus because you can get busted for public drinking. This was my first experience in a party bus and i hope I get to do this again! This group of friends already made a deal to do this once a year! So fun! I reviewed the options online and chose the bus with karaoke inside. Our plan was to make 3 stops at the favorite restaurant for birthday girls. This plan was by far the best! We were able to dine at all these great restaurants and eat only a favorite dish knowing we were headed to another restaurant. The bus driver called me earlier in the day to introduce himself and sync our schedules. I felt very comfortable having bart as our driver of 9 females. We rented the Corona bus for transportation on my sister-in laws wedding day 2/2/2020 to the reception dinner in Honolulu. It was amazing! OMG. BEST NIGHT EVER!!!! We all wanted to live it up for a night for our girls birthday and decided to go to a concert and get the bus to pick us all up and take us home - no drinking and driving! After debating the options we decided to private charter so we could bring things and leave them on the bus while we went to the concert. Pre game there and after party on the bus right?! We got to the concert and immediately regret getting off the bus lmfao! We stayed for mayyyybe 30-45 minutes before we all agreed BACK TO THE BUS!! I did want to say that I was super disappointed that we didn't received what was promised by Gene. He had spoken to my coordinator, and I also confirmed when I paid for the rental in full about getting the following. -Cooler filled with ice -Bottled Water -Red Cups It may not seem like much, but when you're expecting things on your wedding day, and you are planning to be able to use this before and after the wedding this adds on to your stress. And as a bride/groom you don't want to have to worry about this. Because I would have def bought these items knowing if we weren't getting it. We wanted to provide a great experience for our wedding party. Also, when i asked about these missing items the 1st bus driver wanted to resolve the problem buy passing by a store to get the items since we only needed to be at the venue at 4pm. Which was incorrect!! We were supposed to be at the venue at 2:30pm, and if I didn't ask about the items, we would have been really late for our ceremony. He showed us the itinerary and that's what he was given. I asked him if he could make sure we at least had the items for the"after party" but he advised he would try, but he wouldn't be our 2nd driver. And when it came to after our wedding. We ended up still not having those items. I do want to say the 2nd driver was really nice to suggest places we could go to on a Sunday. Both drivers called/texted early to make sure that we were good to go and it was easy to contact them when we were ready to be picked up. Interior of buses are very clean and the speaker system is great! It's pretty much a bus with the interior of a luxury limo with more space to stand and walk around. A big plus: you can bring in your own food and drinks - they provide coolers and ice. Just a small situation where the driver was over 15-20 minutes late for pick up (and was stated to pick us up at the designated time and area in the details/contract). It was a bit scary since we were out past 1:00 am in an area that some aren't familiar with. A small fix would be to do a quick call to check in and make sure they are on their way before the designated pick-up time. Overall, everyone had fun and we were well taken care of.
