And the catfish poboy was solid. We stopped here on a road trip from LA to Monterey. It was a nice break from the general coastal cuisine. And seeing a bit of SLO was nice. Saw a Food Not Bombs in the park nearby, with unhoused people walking over.

Now, I have been to the Big Easy and as I recall, the food I there was amazing. All of it. Even a simple pizza slice was memorably delicious. BTCC emphatically recreates that culinary experience with a solid menu of creole style dishes. New owner? No worries! Grits, jambalaya, Poboys, fresh homemade cornbread, sweet tea and lemonade, the offerings are all perfectly seasoned, flavorful and delicious. My favorites? The crawfish etouffee, the muffaletta sandwich (for sharing) and any breakfast omelette. Fancy? No. affordable? Yes! Whether you sit inside or on the peaceful patio you'll enjoy the atmosphere and the friendly attentive service from the staff. Definitely, Good Times!!!

Can't say enough good things about this place. My husband and I love to go to the boiling crab to…read moreeat this but we drive an hour from home to eat that. Now we can go half way and to Santa Barbara for the same food but definitely more pricy. We had our usual shrimp and also tried the mussels which were good. The corn was good as well. We made one of them New Orleans style which Comes with sausage, corn and potato but we switched to no sausage We really enjoyed it and will definitely return!

We ordered 2 lbs of shrimp - I think it's $25+/lb and 1 lb crawfish (can't recall how much maybe its $17+ /lb), 5 steamed rice, 1 large extra sauce (drunken crab mix - can't recall exact name) . Everything was really good - we did medium spice and it was spicy especially for my 12 yr old son but he still enjoyed it though. The service was good, but could've been better - staff are always by the bar are and just chatting, but someone will come check on us from time to time - its just that when we need their attention sometimes its hard because they had their back away from us and we ate at around 2:30ish so the restaurant was pretty empty - just 2-3 tables taken inside. The place is big, lots of seating and great for big groups. However, one of my disappoinment here is the ladies bathroom - its really dirty, trash overflowing and on the floor, etc, like its really dirty. I hope management can fix that issue with the staff. P.S I forgot to take photos because my kids were very hungry and didnt let me take pics...next time!

It's always peaked my interest and so I got a discount code from door dash and my husband and I thought hey why not finally try florianos? We were super excited he got a lengua burrito and I got a chile relleno burrito. He ordered his with some jalapeno salsa and I added on mine some jalapeños as a free add on. We're very much fans of spicy food but when I tell you that they put so much spice I mean it was almost a punishment more than a meal. I first tried my husbands thinking it was mine and as much as it was good it immediately was disturbingly spicy. But I was like hey whatever he asked for the jalapeno salsa I mean we didn't say how much to put on. So I ignored it trying to stay unbiased because like I said I was eager to eat here for a while. I started eating my burrito and noticed it didn't have meat and honestly for $12 it's a bit wild in my opinion to charged that much for a burrito with no meat. But hey whatever I thought. Times are crazy inflation is high. Also I looked back on the app and it was a $3 charge for meat that I had missed when I was getting my order together so I blamed myself for that. The first half where the chile was, was good. A couple jalapeños here and there not too bad. I liked it the beans were good the rice was good but then I got to the second half of my burrito and I noticed a crazy amount of jalapeños. I started pulling them out and in the picture it shows how many jalapeños I pulled from just that part of the burrito. Keep in mind I've already ate a good amount of jalapeños already. It's like they poured a small can of jalepenos on my burrito. I stopped eating it and my husband tried finishing it for me without the jalapeños in it. He said it tasted like it was soaked in jalapeno juice. That being said I'm willing to try it again and hopefully whoever made it was just someone having a bad day. ‍
