Highly recommend going to Oak Canyon! They have helped me so much, it's hard to know where to begin. I have gone to a dentist every 6 months for a cleaning since I was younger. I had ortho in middle school and as an adult, so from the outside looking in, I have a beautiful smile. What people don't see is that I grind my teeth at night, which has caused TMJ, and very large cracks and chips in my molars. This was causing teeth sensitivity, jaw pain, tooth pain and I had a retainer I used as a mouth guard at night. I was introduced to Oak Canyon to have a new retainer made, and Doc examined my mouth and said the reason for all of this is because my bite was off and that he could actually correct my bite and that would stop the grinding and clenching at night. No ortho needed, just a few simple adjustments and the clenching/grinding stopped for good. It's been about a year, and Doc has fixed the cracks and all my mouth pain is completely gone. I also no longer need my retainer because my teeth have stopped moving, and I do not need a night guard. Hands down, this is the best dentist I've ever been to. An amazing practice that focuses on comprehensive dental health. I couldn't be more satisfied. For many years I have suffered with headaches, jaw pain/popping, grinding and clenching. I've never looked forward to going to the dentist, even for a routine cleaning, which was painless and without judgment at Oak Canyon, even though I had procrastinated over a year to get it done. When Dr. Haase examined my bite, he noted how far off it was. I told him other doctors diagnosed me with TMJ and charged me for a night guard, but never seemed to fix the problem. I could feel my bite was crooked, and, when he used his fingers to show where my teeth and jaw should be sitting, I felt an instant relief I'd never felt before. I had been forcing my teeth to line up, and I had teeth grinding on teeth that never should have been touching. My teeth were becoming destroyed. After two visits, Dr. Haase had fixed my alignment for little more than the cost of a night guard and that instant relief he demonstrated was now permanent relief. I haven't slept so well ever since because I'm no longer grinding at night and suffering jaw pain. I highly recommend Dr. Haase for all dental needs. Recently I took my 14 year old daughter to Dr. Haase shortly after he opened his practice in Bee Caves. We walked into a tastefully decorated, comfortable and peaceful environment complete with Tv's, PC's and a coffee and water bar. This is obviously not a stark white cold waiting area like you get with the corporate chains. Mona was very kind and engaging wiht my daughter and put her at ease. Dr. Haase took took over and started the cleaning. He made her very comfortable with the process and explained what he was doing and why and all the while checking in to ensure she was ok. Not only did he clean her teeth well, he spent much extra time getting the adhesive off of her teeth that the orthodontist didn't remove. He took time to explain to her what she was doing right and what she needed to improve upon for flossing and cleaning. Whatever he said to her worked. She has stayed motivated to keep her teeth well flossed even under the retainer wire. Not only will I take may family here, I would refer him to my friends. read more

They go over the treatment plan before hand and it's up to us whether we want to proceed and when - no pressure. When we do proceed we are never charged more than what we were told. I love that my kiddos can go to Dr. Haase and feel comfortable with cleanings and procedures. One big procedure was when my son knocked out his two front teeth. Dr. Haase talked to us on the weekend while on vacation and got us in right away Monday to fix his teeth. He did an amazing job and you can't tell my kids teeth were busted. I had heard for years at my Golds Gym, that Dr. Haas was awesome. I was blown away at the organization of client/patient intake forms, how easy it was to schedule an appointment (no hold times/answering machine...), and how they got my insurance information and payment information streamlined. If that wasn't enough, the state of the art Digital Imaging vs the old x-rays (with all we know now about effects of radiation!). That was my major selling point for me. My own personal flat panel TV to watch ESPN/CNBC and watching and following along with Doc's camera examining my teeth in real time on TV showing me where my issues were, are, or could be. I used to have terrible anxiety with going to the dentist so much that I put it off for 7 years. My Family and I have been going twice a year ever since we became his patients back in 2013. I never really write reviews but I absolutely have to write a glowing review for Dr. Haase and Oak Canyon dentistry! I am actually from Los Angeles and flew to Austin specifically to see Dr. Haase and his team. My parents go here for their dental care and have been raving about the services for years. So when it came time to redo my veneers, I figured that such a large amount of dental work was worth making sure I went to the right dentist. Not only did Dr. Haase and his team move heaven and earth in order to figure out a way to make my trip possible and get all my dental work done within a weeks time span, but I seriously could not be happier with the end result. He did so much more then just redo my veneers. He made significant adjustments to my bite which I found out that had he not done that , I would have continued to chip my back molars until there was likely nothing left of them. My bite feels so much better! He made adjustments to my front teeth so that the veneers have as solid of a foundation as possible, ensuring that this smile would be one that would last for years and years. Lastly, he also performed a treatment on my gums which has completely transformed my smile. All of that, mixed with beautifully crafted veneers means I have an absolutely amazing smile that I just never really thought I could have. Worst dentist ever. Misleading and overbills! I specifically asked when I was seeking a dentist in the area if they took United Healthcare and was told "yes" with no further info given. They tell you prior to service what will and will not be covered by insurance and then, after dental work has been completed, you'll get another invoice with the exact amount that insurance was estimated to cover. What they don't share from the beginning is that they are NOT a provider for UNC or any other insurance carrier. Dr. Haase's expertise and innovative thought process is successfully resolving a very difficult case with my daughter's front teeth that has been ongoing for almost 14 years. One of her front teeth was knocked out in an accident when she was eight year old. She had to endure several years of painful orthodontia as well as oral surgery with a periodontist (who tried an implant, but was not able to complete the work). More recently, another oral surgeon was more aggressive with a bone implant and titanium mesh. Dr. Hasse's portion of the treatment began with a thorough examination of her bite, and subsequently his extremely detailed approach and close collaboration with the talented oral surgeon placed my daughter on the path to a successful resolution with two beautiful front teeth. It's not yet over, but today, we are all very confident that success is around the corner. My daughter has also expressed her praise that he is very focused on her comfort during the several components of the various procedures and treatments since she is quite sensitive to pain around the area of her front teeth.
