Eagle's Nest RV Park - Hot water heater-Don't linger unless you like a cold shower

Three stars is probably too generous: The location and view is great, but this park is in need of…read moresome serious maintenance and upkeep. Communication from staff was the worst I've ever experienced-basically nonexistent. I got one live call, but never saw a single staff member during my entire week long stay. The road going up the hill is steep, has deep ruts, and is in terrible shape. Some place are nearly washed out. Campsites are not particularly level, water pressure a bit on the low side; and the laundry room, toilet and shower are all combined in a single uninsulated shed. If you need to do laundry and Simone is using the toilet or shower, well, you'll just have to wait until there done-unless of course they're not very modest. The hot water for the shower is small, so be quick on the shower if you like a hot one-the problem there is the water spray shower head is a lame energy saver type so water volume is poor, which means you have to stay longer to get washed off properly. A big annoyance, the light switch by the door is a motion sensor which after the first two minutes switches to about a 30 second cutoff! So you have to step out of the shower every 30 seconds to get it to turn back on, unless you don't mind taking a shower in total darkness. Overall it wasn't bad, but just not good enough either for me to want to return again anytime soon. Eagles Nest may have been a great park in its past, but I would not recommend this to anyone unless they make some deep discounts on their rates, or make some serious upgrades to their amenities. A good start would be to repair the road going up the hill to the main park before it turns into a luge track.

Great stay! We have…read morestayed here a few times and this is my first review. This time, we stayed here 2 weeks. We're up front in pull-through site 44. Yes, the road noise is apparent. We didn't mind it as we stay inside the RV most of the time. The site itself was great. The sites are long, wide, have a grass yard and a concrete pad and patio. Power, water and sewer worked well. We only used their WiFi as backup as we're using a cell-based Internet solution and were connected to AT&T. I have several interactions with the office staff and all were quite favorable. We even asked to use the kitchen in the clubhouse and that was approved both times. Trish, the manager was always very pleasant and accommodating. Some other things we like: - They sell a 10# bag of ice for $2. We use a lot of ice, so that was nice. - They text us when a package arrives for us. - They sell propane onsite. - They have a pool and a hot tub and they just got done refinishing both and got them opened during our stay. - They have laundry rooms at 2 locations within the park. We used the larger one. - They have plans to add more amenities this year. We look forward to the next time we stay at Oak Creek RV Park.

This is a gorgeous RV park. You can tell they put a lot of work in daily. Everyone we met on staff was super friendly, and welcoming. As we walked our dog other campers were also very friendly. And a welcoming goodie bag w dog treat when we arrived too. I hope we travel through again for longer than 4 days next time. I wish all RV parks were like this!

They have very small sheds that you're supposed to be able to use for storage that are the size of a closet. They don't allow dog fences they don't allow you to put anything out basically. Other than the clubhouse and pool that's the only thing this place has going for it and it's extremely expensive. It's an adult park, which is fine, but they do not allow any children on the premises that includes your grandchildren coming to visit anybody under the age of 18. So if you have family, you definitely don't want to stay here.
