Owner stated, "I know my staff and they wouldn't do that." ~~~ I have been a client at this place for about 8 years. The massage therapists are fantastic. However, there has been a recent turnover for the front desk staff and a new assistant manager. It is common for me to leave my kids with screentime and a nanny in the lobby here. Like most kids, they take a minute to transition. It means being noisy for 3 - 5 minutes. This time, when I went to quickly get something out of my car, I came back to find a lady working there directly correcting my son (instead of talking to me or my husband and nanny who were right there). I made it clear to her I would handle my son directly. She didn't seem to like me correcting her, and started telling me if they wouldn't be quiet, we would have to leave. When she walked away, I asked a lady at the front desk who the other lady was. Another receptionist - who I was not asking - butted in to say the lady never spoke to my son. It turns out the lady who spoke to my son is the new assistant manager. Okay, so now (1) someone has nonconsensually disciplined my child and (2) someone is gaslighting me about it even though 3 adults in my party just saw this. My husband and I then went and attempted to enjoy the massages scheduled for our anniversary. We never relaxed. After the massage, I asked to speak with the manager. Apparently, the new assistant manager lied and said I threatened her, saying "Watch out!" This did not happen. The manager told me I was not welcome back because of this (false) accusation. So add (3) crazytown accusation and (4) being told not to return and (5) anniversary ruined to the list. I asked to speak with the owner. The manager told me, "You can, but I've already talked to her and she agrees with me." The owner said I could come back without the kids "because people could be trying to relax on their anniversary." When I told her about the behavior of the assistant manager toward my child, she said, "I know my staff, and they wouldn't do that." *I think it is very concerning that an owner takes this approach.* They did refund the 6 membership credits, but not the 2 massages we received that awful day. At no point did management apologize for what was done to us. It's very sad that things have gotten so strange with new staff and that the owner is not receptive to customer feedback. This place used to be such a nice escape for me. read more

I have been going to Oak Haven for years and have always appreciated the service. They are professional, friendly and they have so many great therapists. Specifically, Lora is amazing at making my body right after I abuse it like the weekend warrior I am. I use her for deep tissue work and workout recovery which she excels at. When I have minor injuries, I ask her to treat me with cupping and it's a key part to my recovery. I am no stranger to massage therapy. In a former life, I was a Division 1 college athlete and a 1996 Olympian. Great personal! They are always so professional and make you feel comfortable. They also help you choose the best option for you as you pick the type of massage that fits your body. Deep tissue, sports, soft. You have a choice so don't be afraid to tell them how much pressure you want or what body part needs extra attention. For me it's hand to shoulder. I've seen 3 different massage therapists at this location and they were all fantastic. All of them have been extremely knowledgeable and spent time listening to my issue before deploying pointed techniques to try and address the core issue. I don't often need to go more than a few times in a row because they usually fix any issue I'm dealing with in a few sessions. The people at the front desk are always really kind and helpful in helping my fiancé and I with scheduling. All the rooms are clean with comfortable tables and good vibes overall, even the front waiting area has cozy seating and great natural light. Mary M at Oak Haven is fantastic if you're looking for an actual therapeutic massage. She knows exactly what she is doing. She doesn't mess around or waste time. You will get up off that table and feel relief, I guarantee it. I booked an 80 minute massage when I threw out my lower back. I told her what my injury was and also said that my shoulders and upper back were tight. She went right to work on my hips and spent a good 45-50 minutes just on my hips. I appreciated the fact that she took the actual time required to work on my problem areas instead of just trying to get a full body massage in. She was totally focused on taking care of the problem. The booking was very easy. Just download their app and you can book your entire appointment through there. The app is very user friendly and gives you all the pricing information up front.
