I very rarely write reviews, but when it comes to the most amazing service, I will go to anyways to let people know that this place is beyond what you would need if you have chronic pain in your back. Most massage places don't educate their therapists to know how to work with people that have a lot of issues and both times I have found, this location has some amazing therapists are used to work with Jenna, but she is now in the San Antonio area and I just went to see Jannah at this location and she was beyond amazing. I have seen a lot of therapist for my back issues, and some are good or great, but never to the extent that she worked on my back and goes into detail about knowing what muscles need to be worked for what issues you have, if you really want someone to help you, I recommend her highly! read more

If I could give a zero star - I WOULD! The lobby is VERY loud with 2 people servicing clients and one person calling people to confirm appointments. I got stuck in the first room next to the lobby and immediately said there was NOTHING relaxing or spa like having a massage in space that was just as loud as a hotel lobby. Have loved Oak Haven for years but the consistent price increases are a huge turnoff and not worth it at this point. This is a great in/out place for massages, but it is not a spa. There are no extras like essential oils, warm towels, etc. The prices have increased $40 an hour since we started going a few years ago. I hope management figures something else out because it was a great value; not so much anymore. read more

Oak Haven is the only Austin-based massage therapy we will go to. been going for the past 8 years now, and they're truly incredible. I don't have a consistent massage therapist that I use because I've liked them all. If you're looking at trying it out, ask about their new member deals. Travis is the best! I went in with a herniated disc and fear around it getting agitated by massage. Travis listened to me, offered his suggestions, and let me decide how to proceed. He does a truly therapeutic massage and is among the best I've ever been to. I also always had friendly and efficient encounters with the ladies at the desk. All around great experience. I picked the medium option for pressure and it was perfect. She really worked on my problem areas as requested. She is amazing. The front receptionist made me an appointment within the 15 minutes of calling. You can hear a little bit of the doors opening and closing but nothing crazy or bothersome. First time to try Oak Haven for a simple Swedish massage for general relaxation. While it's not a full spa, it's a very nice massage place and they do a great job taking care of the customer. They are set up to handle many customers efficiently and the process is smooth. My therapist did a great job and I sense a high level of professionalism across the board. He found some problem spots I didn't know I had and worked them out being careful to ask about level of pressure. The lack of spa environment is reflected in their very reasonable prices. I'm speechless. INCREDIBLE. My chiro recommended Oak Haven because I've currently got a pinched nerve in my neck. I have tried everything the last week & a half & had little to no relief. I've never had a massage before & I was super nervous to come because I'm so miserable.. I don't know what I was waiting for! I told my massage therapist, Morgan, what was going on & she worked magic. I walked out half an hour later able to move & roll my neck around - something I haven't done in over 10 days. I still have some recovery time for sure, but Morgan had recommendations for after care as well which I so appreciate. I will 100% be back. If you're thinking about booking, do it. I've seen Melina my last few times there, and I've also seen several of the other massage therapists, and all are amazing! Hands down the best massage studio in the Austin area. I am an avid athlete and I find myself overtraining more than I should. After my body told me "no more", I checked out Oak Haven. Their check-in procedure is seamless and their front desk workers are knowledgeable and polite. Now on to their unmatched massage therapy. I have had two different therapists and both were amazing. Miguel was a hybrid massage of deep tissue and relaxation. His massage is perfect after a long stressful week of work and exercising. Today I found Matthew! Hands down the best sports massage I have ever had! I walked in with an aching back and tightness hips and he worked magic! While there were times I had to breathe through some discomfort the release of my muscle tension in back and legs was truly remarkable! I have found my new massage studio! We have pretty high expectations and when a friend recommended this place we weren't very optimistic we were going to like it. I'm pretty big on deep tissue and got pared with Brooke. I don't say this lightly, but this was by far the best deep tissue massage I have ever received. Her pressure was very deep and definitely was hitting all the sore and tender spots. Her technique and pressure may be too much for some, but for me it was absolutely heavenly, and I can't recommend her enough if you're into deep tissue. On top of this, the price was very reasonable ($100 for 80 minutes). Give this place a shot. read more
