When questions came up after his visit, Paul responded quickly with a phone call followed by a detailed email complete with photos and examples. That level of follow-through is hard to find. Once I signed the contract, Jaime came by to confirm measurements and listen to my ideas, translating them into a well-defined project plan. The results speak for themselves -- everything was completed ahead of schedule. Standard Plumbing, Johnny & Arne ROCK!! 8 years after we purchased our bathroom plumbing and…read morefixtures from Standard Supply, one of our shower Grohe systems started to slowly drip when off, and one of the two Kohler water tanks for the toilettes was showing its age. A month ago I stopped by their show room and Arne, the manager for Standard Supply looked at my videos, my receipts from 8 years ago, the schematics for the respective systems and told me that their team should be able to help me get warranty replacements from Grohe and respectively, Kohler. A few days later, Johnny reached out to me via email and phone with details on the parts that he researched with the respective manufacturers and told me that I should receive the necessary parts from both of them at no cost, no tax, no shipping!!!! Johnny explained to me that a couple of factors contributed to this good news: 1. Grohe and Kohler offer lifetime warranties on their products and they back those warranties up with actual parts. Yes, they may be more expensive, but in time, gaskets or other parts wear off due to hot water, high usage, water deposits, etc. With a lifetime warranty, they will send the replacement parts for free. 2. The fact that I actually kept all the original receipts from Standard Plumbing enabled Arne & Johnny to determine that I made the purchases in their store. Sometimes, companies and stores like Standard Plumbing will change their computer systems, databases, etc, and in the process, there are instances where very old records are not retained. So, keeping the invoices was crucial in the investigations of what exactly was ordered 8 years ago, to make it easy to work with the manufacturers. I truly appreciate the professionalism and great support received from both of them, and I know that for as long as Standard Plumbing Supply is in business, I have a great team of plumbing experts that I can rely upon for any further plumbing related needs. I highly recommend Standard Plumbing Supply for any of your future bathroom and plumbing fixtures needs. The only thing left to say is THANK YOU to both Arne and Johnny!

I agreed not to pursue the issue with the paint color as part of the agreement. Lisa was great in handling this job and ensuring the work was completed quickly. I appreciate her professionalism. I am very happy with the completed project.

I cannot say enough great things about Oakmountain Cabinets! Dave and his crew did a phenomenal job on our kitchen remodel, bar installation and update of our outdated entertainment center. They are detail oriented, showed up on time every single day and everyone was extremely professional and pleasant to work with. Our extensive job included taking our kitchen cabinets all the way to the ceiling -- a big task that included detailed and tricky moulding installation. In addition, they completed drawer installations where cupboards were and a completely custom hood over the new stove. We love our new kitchen! Oakmountain Cabinets also installed a new bar and cabinety in the family room as well as a remodel of an old built in entertainment center. Any call to Dave is answered timely and he made sure we were happy with every detail. He even came back after the project was completed and took care of RE-PAINTING the front of an entire stack of drawers -- at no cost -- when we accidentally stained the front of them. David Fontan, the owner of Oak Mountain Cabinets, along with his staff did a fabulous job on my kitchen and bathroom cabinet project. The project was a combination of refacing and custom replacement. We converted our lower kitchen cabinets and our pantry from shelves to drawers. Oak Mountain made the new drawers which fit perfectly in the spaces. The cabinet boxes which remained, were all sanded and painted and look brand new. In our bathroom, they built a new 30" 3 drawer unit that was inserted into the empty space that was previously there. You cannot tell that it had been added. David and his associate Dylan measured and remeasured several times before the construction began to ensure all would go smoothly. David has a perfectionist streak, and he came to our home periodically during the installation to make sure he was satisfied with everything. David and his installer Josue, made sure we were 100 % satisfied before signing off on the project. The price for the project was around half of what we were quoted by other companies for new cabinets. I wholeheartedly recommend David and Oak Mountain Cabinets. I am a photographer and was hired by Oak Mountain Cabinets to photograph the last 16 homes they have done work in. The age of the kitchens and bathrooms ranged from ones they just finished to 15 years old. In my opinion the quality of the cabinets remained consistent and held up extremely well with years of wear and tear. Based on seeing first hand examples of their work my husband and I hired them for several jobs in our home. Most recently it was to remodel our guest bathroom. We live in Pleasant Hill and our home was built in the 1980's. We were surprised on how fast my bathroom remodel took and what quality they custom built for us. We have a tiny area with two small children. They suggested things such as hidden step stoles and unique layout of drawers that would fit our families specific needs. We are so happy with the quality of the work they did and look forward to having them do more projects in our home. read more

Dave and his crew are our go-to contractors...we wanted to update our master bath cabinets and get more space without changing our counter or our floor. Dave and his crew managed to do it all--by refacing our cabinets and adding on to one and adding drawers. They were fast and did an excellent job. I was especially impressed with Ivan and how diligent he was--very conscientiousness and cleaned up the bathroom every day after finishing. And Jonathan at the shop had a brilliant idea on how to enlarge a cabinet for us. Dave and his crew had previously remodeled our kitchen (2016), so we called them the next year when we had to repair termite damage in our two story living room and fix a wall and they were fantastic. They replaced the cross beams without removing the windows!! And they did it for half the price the contractor recommended by the termite exterminator quoted. The project included design and construction of a new island, glass cabinets to replace decorative shelves, and a new upper/lower cabinet to replace a floor to ceiling pantry counter. Justin was extremely responsive, professional, knowledgable, and left us with two great finished products! He replaced a trash compactor with a built in trash drawer and matched the stain of wood to our previous kitchen perfectly. (It cost about the same to get a custom trash drawer than it would have to buy a new trash compactor, which would have eventually broken and needed to be replaced again.) He also removed an unused wet bar in our living room and replaced it with a beautiful built in maple desk with an espresso colored stain. He custom matched it to existing living room furniture. Dave and his excellent staff revitalized our 60's era kitchen (multiple minor touchups in the interim) with new cabinet doors, lighting and paint. They worked with our countertop and appliance installers to make our remodel not only successful, but easy and relatively quick - and this included some cabinet rebuilds specifically to accommodate appliance upgrades. Dave has done three jobs for me in three different homes. In this third job he expanded his level of service to include not only painting, but moving a television, repositioning some light fixtures and changing some of the cabinet layout as well as painting that cabinetry which went from a dark cherry to a beautiful white. They stand behind their work and when anything went wrong they were there to fix it. Buuuut, that's an issue because EVERYTHING went wrong. Not a single subcontractor did their work correctly and all had issues that needed rectifying - ranging from minor to very much not-minor (lots of extensive tile problem being the major ones). Before selling our house I had to have the crawlspace plumbing completely redone as the pre-sale inspection came back with it not being to code. So I ended up paying for re-plumbing as I didn't want that issue holding up the sale. The costs also went up quickly and "invisibly". Essentially we didn't have a sense of how the expenditures were piling up as a dollar figure wasn't ever attached to a change in plan. So, ultimately it turned out well but it was an effort and it dragged on before it was all finally, for sure, done. In a sense I think the overall might be more accurately 3.5/5 but since the final product was excellent and they DID address everything (that shouldn't have needed addressing in the first place but did) I'm going with 4.

We have an older home and they always presented options to fix unknown issues. Andrea was fantastic during the design phase, and Tom, Anthony, and Alan ensured the build quality was top-notch. We will definitely use them again!

During the job, he was always about the least costly and most direct means of solving a problem. He never suggested a resolution for his convenience or monetary gain over Doing the Right Thing. I called him recently because the wall outside the steam shower was saturated with water. He came to see it within a day or 2. His team took the wall apart looking for the source and after returning several times, resolved the problem. I never received an invoice. When I thanked him he said, "It's really more than just the money for us..,If you need us we're just a call away to see that you're taken care of."
