Kellen helped me out. He was really kind and explained everything he was doing well. Before entering the home he even put on shoe protectors which was very thoughtful. Helped clear out the issues and coordinated the rest with my landlord. He even cleaned up for me which was appreciated. The only others are the real estate scammers and those people play by their own rules (which is why their yelp reviews are awful). Then there's this place. Sending junk mail to my house - I emailed and them and started off with "we're on the do not mail list" - their junk mail is addressed to us (not resident) to our address meaning they got our name off some list and are sending this to us. His response was "you should sign up for the do not mail list (completely ignoring the first sentence of my email) and you have to pay a fee - also contact your local post office." Refuses to remove us from his junk mail list - and is telling me to sign up for the list I told him I was already on ("and you'll have to pay a fee!" - yeah, I paid the fee so scammers like you wouldn't send junk to my house) and telling me to contact my local post office. What does contacting my local post office do? They will tell me to contact these shysters to get off their list. I gave this guy every chance to remove us and just kept repeating "contact the do not mail list." So let's be clear - these people think if they keep sending their junk mail to our house, we'll give in and use their "service." This is as unethical as it gets. There are tons of great plumbing and heating services out there folks. An honest company says "let's get you off our list ASAP." A dishonest company ignores your email and tells you to contact the post office. It's such a simple thing to do, yet they won't. But don't take it from me - read the other reviews here. Not a good sign, is it? I love yelp and the good it does informing customers. Now the guy is going to respond and tell me what a bad person I am or how great his company is or some lame response. Again, just read the other reviews here - tells you all you need to know.

BeastBay almost blew my house up!…read more Another thing to note, if you are considering doing business with them, is that they have an F rating with the Better Business Bureau due to 2 other complaints they did not respond to. I had used BeastBay Plumbing once before when we had a drain problem. They were responsive, and the tech was friendly and informative. He fixed the problem, and we signed up for their loyalty program. I knew our water heater was nearing the end of its lifespan, and I called them to get a quote. Sydney came out and explained the options. I ended up going for the tankless water heater. I also got quotes to replace a kitchen faucet and install a new shower fixture. The techs who showed up were courteous, but they arrived a couple of hours later than I had expected. I anticipated the faucet and shower fixture jobs to go fairly quickly, but they took almost two hours. Then they started work on the water heater. What Sydney hadn't discussed was the need for direct power to the tankless system or a new vent. The tech wanted to open the ceiling up, but as it's a two-story house with a tile roof, that was a hard no. They ended up doing a vent through the side of the house. At first, they said it would be a two-day job, which wasn't mentioned when I booked, but after getting the side vent in, they said they'd finish that day. Here is where things go very, very badly. The next day, I went into the garage to move a car. I was overwhelmed by the smell of gas. I called BeastBay, and the phone center told me to call 911, which I did. In the meantime, I opened the garage door. I realized after I hit the button that, should anything spark, the whole place could go up. Thankfully, it didn't. The fire department came out, pinpointed that BeatBay had not tightened the gas connection to the tankless unit and turned it off. Then began a 2+ hour marathon of calls to BeastBay to get someone out immediately. Except they didn't. I had to call the office 4 times and then had 3 separate conversations with them. In the meantime, Sydney came back out to see what was up. I explained the severity of the gas leak and told him I wasn't happy he hadn't mentioned needing direct power or the need to re-vent from the previous water heater. Sydney indicated there would be a small rebate, and they would service the unit going forward free of charge. The tech showed up, apologized for not securing the gas line, tightened it up, and left. This was a week and a half ago. I heard nothing more from BeastBay. I called the office on Wednesday and asked that they memorialize what Sydney had said during our meeting in writing. The woman who answered, Sarah?, said she'd have to check with Sydney, in a tone that said she didn't believe he had offered anything. She came back and said that was correct, and she'd send it over by email. Nothing was forthcoming. I've called the office twice today, twice no one answered, and the third time it went to a general voicemail. I received a phone call 2 + weeks after the incident. The woman I spoke to apologized, but assumed everything was fine. I explained how VERY unhappy I was with both the work they did and their lack of responsiveness. She said she would talk to the owner and get back to me yesterday or today. No call. AVOID. AVOID. AVOID. To say I'm disappointed in the service is an understatement. This is a massive failure on every front.

My clients were purchasing a property with an existing septic system, but the seller was unable to provide any meaningful information about its condition or layout. John, the owner of Sbragia Septic Service, personally answered our call and promptly scheduled the inspection. During the initial inspection, John had to dig down 2' in compact gravel to access heavy concrete access covers. Once uncovered, he pumped the holding tanks and snaked a video camera through the system. The video system was clear, showing multiple significant issues, including failed baffle walls, a broken outlet pipe leading to the first distribution box that had been improperly installed, and a failed first distribution box that prevented him from further completing the inspection. When John returned the following week to begin the repairs, the scope of the project became significantly larger. He had to cut through asphalt that had been laid directly over the outlet pipe and one distribution box. As the work progressed, he uncovered six additional distribution boxes, one of which had completely failed. He also found several leach lines clogged with roots and encountered multiple water lines that had been installed along the septic system that were broken during the excavation process. Despite the unexpected challenges, John and his crew worked tirelessly until 8:00 PM that evening to complete the repairs. They came fully equipped, sourced the necessary replacement parts for an older septic system, and handled every obstacle with professionalism, expertise, and determination. Their willingness to go above and beyond ensured the repairs were completed in time to keep the property purchase on schedule. John and his team demonstrated exceptional knowledge, work ethic, and commitment to customer service throughout the entire process. I would highly recommend Sbragia Septic Service to anyone in need of septic inspection, repair, or maintenance. Their professionalism and dedication truly set them apart.
