    Liquid slop
    Koi S.

Needs a lot of improvement. Had never been to any of their franchise location as this was the first and was really disappointed. Did not know that the açaí will come out of some sort of soft serve machine. It came out like a liquid slop, I used to work at an ice cream shop when I was in my teens, to properly make sure that the açaí comes out in a more solid state, have to make sure to pull the knob just a little to turn on the machine so it can start churning the product so it would not be "liquid" but more so a solid form. Anywho, barely made it to popmart and my açaí was already soupy and had to throw away. I think the employee needs more training or knowledge. Not worth the 12$

Acai Bowl - Crunchy (16 oz)

This is a pretty basic açaí bowl spot, but I will say their base is really soft and refreshing, which makes it a solid go-to when you're in the mood for something cold and fruity. I especially liked the honey they use -- it's a white honey that's a little thicker than usual and adds a nice touch of sweetness. We got the crunchy bowl with granola and other toppings, and that one is my personal favorite. I also tried their peanut butter, and even though I'm not usually a fan of peanut butter, theirs was surprisingly yummy and paired well with the rest of the bowl. This Oakberry location is smaller and inside a mall, so there aren't any tables, but it's a great, filling snack to grab during a long shopping trip. Wouldn't go out of my way for it, but definitely enjoyable if you're nearby.

My receipt with all my toppings that were missed.

Cafe Vida still has blueberry cornmeal pancakes on the menu and serve breakfast all day!! =O Yes please!! =D Greeted with smiles and seated immediately. Seated outside under shade with the outdoor hubbub of the noonday; but no problems for me, save the lady next to me was trying to know everything I was eating and drinking!! =\ My server Ana is a sweetheart. She advised me to get the 2+2+2 instead of just the corn cakes; good call Ana!! =) Started with Sangria Vida - delicious! My plate: two cornmeal blueberry cakes, two scrambled eggs with cheese and chicken cilantro chorizo. The eggs taste farm fresh. The food is quality fresh and delicious and did I mention fresh?! I ate until I was stuffed; almost finished everything save my pancakes....left just under a quarter. After eating, sat for bit and wrote in my datebook and sipped on sangria; beautiful day to while away at Cafe Vida - come check y'all! =D

They waiters always check on you, if you need a coffee refill, very kind and funny staff. The overall environment is very lively! Now let's get to the good stuff; the food was amazing! I ordered their turkey burger scramble which also came with two pancakes. There were other items that caught my eye, and I'll be more than happy to come back and try those other times. For this day I wanted to find something that included both sweet and savory items. It was the perfect thing to order, along with my iced vanilla latte. Thank you Cafe Vida and staff for everything, I will definitely be coming back soon.

So when I found out they opened a location in the Marina, I was beyond excited! The portions are incredible, and they never skimp on toppings. Every bowl is practically overflowing! Everything always tastes so fresh, and you can really tell they use quality ingredients. The staff is also amazing: friendly, welcoming, and genuinely upbeat. Every time I walk in, I'm greeted warmly and feel instantly welcomed. If you've never tried Paradise Bowls before, you absolutely need to. My personal favorite is the Chocolate Arc, but they have a great variety of options and tons of ways to customize your bowl exactly how you like it. 10/10 every single time!

They had an imaculate takeaway drink fridge, modern decor, plenty of little extras for snacks, supplements, etc. Located between Chipotle and Warburg Parker in the Marina shopping center. They have smoothies, bowls and toasts. Some drinks and snackables too, like pretzels, bags of granola, etc. Service was a little slow, but they were VERY nice. O waited about 15 mins. The line was a bit long, so I opted to place my order online (which quotes a longer wait than in-person:/ and they prioritized me after I asked, even though they didn't have to:) I'm a sucker for a good customer experience. The bowl itself, very good! Personal preference for a more solid, ice cream texture and this was more soft, but still good. My favorite bowl is from SunLife Organics and this is just below that for me. I can't tell if the honey is good quality:/ ...(owner comment here?) but everything else is tops!

My go to is the Seoul bowl it's so good and perfectly marinated while still being health conscious 5/5. The newer tikka masala has been a fav lately- it's veggie based but the spices and flavor are on point, just as delicious as a non-vegan dish! I think with soy meat it could be even better, I'll see if that's an option next time, but this was 4.5/5. West coast shrimp side is really satisfying and savory. I rly should try more items here but it's hard to deviate from my favs haha. |[ s i p ]| Drinks are also decent but the star for me here is the food. While I am not at all vegan, it can be a fantastic change of pace when trying a cuisine that is not at all my regular routine. Happily, Variable has tons of choices, and we loved what we got. I was drawn towards the 'N Seoul Bowl' (Korean spicy plant based pork, house marinated Kimchi, organic edamame, steamed organic spinach, carrot, steamed broccoli, onion , organic shiitake, topped with green onion and sesame seeds and side organic quinoa). So good, a bit spicy, and so many flavors on the plate it was impossible to not only love it, but I could not finish it, either. That goes from all their dishes. They are big, and in our experience, it came out piping hot soon after ordering it. My companion tried the 'Indian Tikka Masala' (homemade Indian curry, broccoli, cauliflower, zucchini, yellow squash, potatoes, cabbage, chickpea, micro green, Served with blend wild Jasmin rice and Indian Flat Bread). Tastes so fresh, hearty, with just enough of a kick to it. I look forward to trying some of their other dishes, too. The burger that the table near us ordered looked fantastic. I gotta think that everything here is pretty dang great.
