Fruity Acai Bowl - The Original (16 oz)
    Brianna G.

The yummiest bowl I've had. The passion fruit really compliments the crunchy of the granola and the acai. Service did take a little longer but than expected.

Delicious delightful Oakberry on Robertson (Blvd), we meet! Popped in after some weekend festivities and was greeted with warm service and energy in this cozy yet spacious new Oakberry location. I was really grateful they were open until 9:30pm when I strolled by around 8:40pm. The person on register was so friendly, kind and helpful a one woman show! It's been a while since I had Oakberry so I asked about the smoothies being dairy free and she confirmed they all are with the exception of adding Whey Protein or Dry Milk boost. Purple Fuel was my refuel for the night after a 10 hour day in West Hollywood (happy pride)! I sat down for a beat at one of the tables inside, near some of the bar style seating along the window overlooking the street and had some memorable sips before journeying up to meet up with my friend(s). Great addition to the area, a bit tucked away next door to Alana's Coffee (Roasters) and directly across the street from Anawalt Lumber. Street parking - 2hr limit + metered Will stop in for a bowl, drinks, smoothies and other offerings again, no question.

Their smoothie section is inside of a grocery store, which added to the confusion. The multiple lines here made it confusing since they had a cafe and bakery section and another section for food items. I eventually found out I was supposed to order Erewhon drinks from the tablet instead of wait in line and then later found out I was waiting in the wrong section to pick up my drink. I ordered the Blueberry SYRN smoothie from Sydney Sweeney through the tablet. After waiting about least half an hour, that was when I was told where to pick up my drink that I ordered on the tablet. The drink still looked pretty when I picked it up, but it didn't taste like anything special. The smoothie still tasted good though, so not much to complain about that, besides the high price tag of their drinks (it was $22). Now, enough about the smoothie section, the rest of this store looked very well organized with their products and it looked like they sell good quality items here. The store looked organized because I liked how they had all the labels facing out, unlike other stores with their drinks section. The meats and sushi section looked fresh, they have a colorful variety of fruits and veggies too. They also give some free food samples throughout the store, so that was nice. I'd recommend this place for the experience. It's cool how this is a grocery store where you can buy fresh food and drinks here. It's also a good place if you're looking for some colorful veggies.

The good news was that no one got hurt and that he didn't hit the storefront. Jamie W and I were just here over PRIDE weekend, so I know how popular this place can get. It's WeHo after all, and I just presume smoothies and açaí bowls are part of the required diet around here. Well, it wasn't nutritional value that drove us (...you should pardon the expression) but more likely a guilty conscience from our weekend debauchery. The menu was as expected. Jamie went for the $15.95 Açaí Superberry Bowl, an immaculately organized container filled with açai, blueberry, banana, cinnamon, sea salt and almond milk topped with honey, granola, fresh berries, coconut flakes (Photo 9). As expected, it was delicious and quite filling. My stomach wasn't feeling as ambitious, so I ordered the $13.95 Chocolate Supreme Smoothie, a refreshing and suitably thick blend of banana, almond butter, cacao, oat milk, maca, and their own plant protein (Photo 10). That was enough healthfulness for me. I believe there's a giant margarita at Fiesta Cantina waiting for me. I went with a couple of friends for dinner- we were around the area and thought it was an opportune time to show them a place they weren't familiar with! I've been here since I was a kid, and though some things changed, alot hasn't! This was during a world cup game, so it was very lively at pub areas as they were broadcasting live. Everyone was so invested, from the patrons, chefs, servers, and even line cooks! Went to a stall selling the 'best corned beef sandwich' from Magee's kitchen. The servers and cook were super nice and the corned beef on display made my mouth water! It was very good, and paired with their blood orange soda, wasn't too heavy! It was a big enough sandwich that I took the other half home! I also got a cornbread muffin from Gumbo pot- which was good but a little dry. There's plenty of shade, though the area is mostly outdoors- lots of trees and buildings with covers and awnings. There's a fancy French market in there and plenty of eating options (though open hours vary). Come by this historic stop, walk through the Grove, and enjoy the hustle and bustle!
