Best acai spot in Weho! Prices were very reasonable and the fact that toppings were unlimited made it so worth it! The place itself is very modern and there is free parking in the rear of the store. This will definitely be my go to spot for acai!
Best acai I've ever had. If i could, I would give 6 stars out of 5. I recommend the 16oz size, but everything is priced pretty reasonably. I got the less sweet acai and dragonfruit base but you can mix/match whatever you'd like. Also unlimited toppings for everything, I got the original chia, banana+blueberry, raw coconut+goji berry+roasted almond, almond butter. All the flavors blended in super nice and our server was super kind and patient! Very peaceful ambiance around late morning/noontime. I would come here much more often if I lived the area!! Definitely coming back when I'm in LA.
I can't have a trip to LA without stopping at this place! It's one of my absolute favorite restaurants ever and they hands down have the best açaí bowls I've ever had without a doubt. Every single base is so delicious and the perfect texture and all the toppings are incredible. The vibes in this place is so calming and clean, the perfect space to relax and enjoy your bowls. The worker is so kind and wonderful every time I come and visit. Please if you try anything in LA let it be this!
When you're in LA and on the hunt for a delicious, healthy, and filling customizable açaí bowl, smoothie, or juice, do yourself a favor and check out "Lazy Bird". Located directly on Santa Monica Blvd and nestled in between on N. San Vincente Blvd/La Cienega Blvd in the West Hollywood neighborhood of Los Angeles, Lazy Bird has been serving up some amazing healthy options dating back to mid-2021. Parking is fairly easy to find with a small, dedicated lot as well as street parking (both in metered and unmetered areas so keep a lookout). Since I did not eat any breakfast (other than some fruit & an iced coffee), my tummy was giving me that sign that I needed to eat. I ended up arriving here during the afternoon of Saturday 10/12/2024 right before 1:00pm. Upon entering the business, this place has a very modern, sleek, and inviting area complete with ample seating both inside and out. The ordering process here is simple, effective, and very efficient as they offer a variety of "Signature Lazy Bowls" as well as their "Create Your Own Bowls". In addition to that, they also offer a respectable amount of fresh juices and smoothies. As for the create-your-own, they are offered in 3 different sizes; 12 oz ($9), 16 oz ($11), and 24 oz ($15) as of late-2024. I ended up going with the 12 oz size as I chose the (less sweet) açaí, a blend of hemp granola/almond honey granola, strawberries, bananas, blueberries, sweetened coconut, and agave sweetener. The amount of customizable creations here are abundant and best of all, you can get as many toppings as you want; something that not a lot of other açaí places offer. As for the taste, this place absolutely hits a home run in my book. I loved how the açaí itself wasn't too sweet (which is great for those watching their blood-sugar level) while the fruit toppings were amazingly fresh and delicious. I also wanted to add that the customer service here was top notch as the young lady that took my order was very helpful from start to finish. For those that reside in the O.C., they also have a 2nd location in the Anaheim area. Finally, this place has generous hours of operation being open Mon-Sat 9am-7pm and Sun 9am-6pm. With an endless number of options, great location, very reasonable prices, and excellent customer service, I am giving the West Hollywood "Lazy Bird" a unanimous five-star rating.
What a fantastic beginning to my day! Woke up this morning at a bright and early 1:23 PM, hungover as a soggy towel racked up after a skinny dip in California's finest: Venice beach baby! After crawling along the main WEHO strip barefoot, (for what felt like 53 hours) pining for sustenance, I stumbled into this santuary like a Syrian refugee finally arriving in Istanbul. These two lovely ladies (pictured below) guided me back onto my feet. After tasting the multitude of delicious nectars Lazy Bird had to offer, I decided to suckle on a regular açaí with all the fixings. Granola flanking the juicy açaí interior of my bowl was merely the vehicle I needed to push onwards in my journey to Nirvana. I've only known these two enchanting shepards a shy five minutes, but their empathy and warmth told me that we had exchanged a lifetime of experience. Overall, The Lazy Bird understood my circumstance and took me under its wing, without judgement and without questioning, offering me its beautiful rejuvenating elixir. So to the Lazy Bird I say this, lazy or not you may be, but may your feathers ever touch the farthest of hearts. Thank you. Onwards and upwards. Lazy Bird is my favorite açaí shop. There is so much variety, and the unlimited toppings is truly amazing. The açaí bases are smooth and flavorful, and not artificial tasting. The fruits are cut fresh in front of you when you order, and they are generous with the fruit servings. They also lay the fruit in a manner which makes the bowl visually appealing. They have chia pudding options for a topping choice, which tastes delicious and the texture compliments the rest of the bowl well. The granola also is amazing, it is crunchy and does not taste store-bought/ like it's been sitting outside for a while. The same worker always makes my bowl, and he is extremely kind and patient. He also knows how to handle multiple orders at a time! There is seating both inside and outside, but i noticed the shop is pretty warm inside.
I tried the less sweetened Acai and it was great with a bunch of different options for granola, fruit, and other toppings. It was closer to a smoothie mix than a sorbet but the flavor was good and the fruit and toppings were all fresh. The vibe was very clean with good mucus playing and is somewhere to try if you're looking for Acai in WEHO

Lazy Bird is my favorite place to get açaí bowls in LA!! Everything about this cute shop is 10/10, from the super friendly and welcoming staff to the hugeeee assortment of based and toppings you can choose in your bowl! I always find that the best açaí bowl spots are the ones where you can customize and mix-and-match as many items as you want and this checked every box! My go-to is a half açaí half matcha chia base, strawberries, blueberries, and banana, topped with almond butter and honey, cacao and gogi berries and toasted coconut, then finally a little matcha powder on top! Delish!!
Yes please!!! This place is amazing all around. The service is great. The employees were patient and allowed samples of the different bases! I really liked the pineapple (mango coconut) and the organic açaí! You're allowed to mix multiple bases too which is great! I love that this place allows for unlimited toppings at no extra charge - GOAT behavior! The prices listed on the wall INCLUDE tax so that's also a bonus! $9.95 for small, $11.95 for medium etc. No surprises at the register. Taste was honestly amazing and i loved having the flexibility to add whatever i wanted to the bowl without an extra $0.50-$1 per item. Thank you Lazy Bird!!!
Lazy Bird is an amazing place to grab an açaí bowl right in the heart of West Hollywood! Oh and a dedicated parking lot - can't beat that!! I ordered the Create Your Own 16 oz for $11, which comes with unlimited toppings! I chose the açaí regular with cinnamon granola , strawberries, blueberries, sweetened coconut, peanut butter and agave! The staff are super friendly! You have the option of sitting indoors and enjoying the coffee shop vibes playlist or sitting on the patio and soaking up some sun! Overall, great experience!

A very solid acai spot and love the affordable prices and unlimited toppings. The employee answered our questions and the low sugar acai also caught my eye. Inside there's a decent amount of seating and very ideal to work or relax at. I went ahead and got the Pineapple which has coconut and mango, it was unique and I loved the sweetness. I also got acai which was pretty good too. I would say it's a must try but for me personally, I wouldn't say it lived up to the almost perfect reviews. read more

Absolutely gutted that this place is closing! 1000% the best Acai spot I've ever had. They have so many different choices of unlimited toppings and everything feels so fresh and home made. Perfect creamy acai to crunch ratio, fresh cut fruits, and delicious chia pudding pudding. I stumbled upon this place 2 years ago visiting a friend in WeHo and then brought my partner here and she instantly fell in love. We used to drive from TORRANCE and now Sherman Oaks for this place. It's our go to pick me up. So so sad this place is closing ! read more

Definitely my favorite acai in LA! They have big portions, a huge selection of toppings, and are very fairly priced! I got the 16 oz create your own bowl ($11) with pineapple and pitaya as the base. I've had issues at other acai places where the bases are super icy but they're perfectly smooth at Lazy Bird. The toppings are all super fresh and they never skimp! Especially on the granola which is my favorite part. There's also plenty of street parking nearby and a back lot as well. I highly recommend! read more

First açaí bowl experience set my expectations very high! The unlimited toppings really set this place apart from the rest. I felt like a bird eating all the nuts and fruits, but I guess birds must feel pretty good then if they ate açaí bowls. The ingredients seemed fresh and the bases were cold and refreshing, great for a hot day. The 12oz was surprisingly filling and I didn't finish the whole thing. Sweetest staff work here-- made my own bowl with sweetened açaí + coconut + mango base with chia and pumpkin granola omg everything is so yummy and FRESH. I've been looking for a solid açaí bowl place and think I've found it on the Westside-- will def be back! read more
Best acai bowl in LA. I typically order for pick up and it's always ready in a timely manner. I always include chia pudding and almond butter in the bowl. I love that they are generous and don't skimp out on these ingredients-- this always keeps me going back to this particular business. read more

Service was quick and portions were perfect! A calming interior, white with black and green accents. Seating kind of uncomfy, but we were there for a long time. The staff here are so kind! They helped 9 of us build delicious açaí bowls. I wasn't familiar with açaí bowls, so they were patient and answered my questions. They worked quickly to serve all 9 of us. The decor is simple and sleek, we all got to sit next to each other. I got the matcha, açaí, and pitaya base. There are unlimited toppings, so I got all the fruit they offered (blueberry, strawberry, banana, apple). I also added the matcha pudding and chocolate pudding, honey almonds, coconut, chocolate, and a few more toppings I'm forgetting. If I'm ever in the area again, I would likely return. read more
Cute, clean, and orderly shop for açai bowls, smoothies, and juice. Along with some of the nicest employees I think I've ever met. When you walk in you're usually greeted warmly and loudly by the people working the counter inside of a very neatly decorated space. For açai bowls, you're given a choice of a pretty decent selection of base fruits and puddings, and the bowls are pretty big for the price that you pay. There's a decent selection of toppings, nut butters, and garnishes you can add on top, and they *pack* it into your bowl. I've left pretty decently full off of a 16 oz bowl each time I've come here and the service always brightens my day. I've been coming here for a few months now, and I notice that they recognize their regulars and memorize their preferences pretty well. I've honestly never really been elsewhere for açai bowls, but I don't think I'll go anywhere else but here. read more

Everywhere I go I always look for an açaí bowl place because I love them that much. When in WeHo this is my #1 go to option. Quality is amazing. Fairly priced for the portions. Great service. The workers always take their time to assemble each piece of topping with precision and love. Unlimited toppings. My only suggestion is to add more different fruits as toppings. Usually they only have berries and banana. Maybe add some kiwi, pineapple, mango, papaya... The place is always clean. Highly recommended! read more

Best Açaí in town! First of all I think it's very fairly priced, they don't cheap out on ingredients and really stack up the bowl! Everything is so tasty and they give samples ! Second the costumer service is amazing, supper sweet employees and fast, she made the bowl look like an art piece ! Finally it's super cute and cozy in and outside, also very clean! 1000/10 read more

Hmmm I've been wanting to try this place for awhile but it's impossible to park finally figured out how to park behind the building, unfortunately the review is tainted by the numerous flies inside and on the food, maybe the açaí bowl would have tasted better if I didn't see flies all over the fruit prior. Sure the prices are good and generous portions but I ended up throwing away half. Also the less sweet still has agave which I rather have none. read more

I like getting a bowl once in a while for a boost of nutrition. I've been here once before, and this time I got the 16 oz. bowl with Pitaya and Pineapple base, topped with Matcha Chia, Honey Almond Granola, Strawberries, Bananas, Toasted Almonds, Raw Coconut, Goji Berries, Almond Butter, Chia Seeds, Cacao Nibs, Flax Seeds, Dark Chocolate Drizzle, Bee Pollen, and Matcha Powder. I really liked the combination that I got. It gave a tropical taste to my bowl and everything worked really well with each other. The pineapple base also had mango and coconut in it so it was really refreshing for a summer morning. I also really liked that they had different options for the same thing, such as a less sweet acai base option, 3 different shredded coconut options, and 2 different almond options. It really caters to people with different dietary restrictions. The only thing is that when I arrived about 10 minutes after they were posted to open, they were still closed. I had planned on stopping by right before work so that I could quickly pick up my bowl and then head to the office, but instead I had to wait a few more minutes before they finally opened and ended up being late for work anyway. Lazy Bird is probably one of my favorite acai bowl places to go to. I really liked the selection of bases and toppings here, and I like how healthy these bowls are. Maybe I just came at an off day when they were running late with West LA traffic, so hopefully next time I come they're more prompt with opening up at their posted time. read more

7.3.2022 BANG FOR YOUR BUCK! Probably the most affordable acai place at the moment! We opted for 16oz for $10 and you can't find another place with this quality at this price anywhere else! This place just made its way to my top 3 favorite Acai places in CA. For reference, I love acai bowls with a thick consistency and those that offer a variety of bases. My favorite in NorCal is Acai R and in SoCal is Blue Bowls and now Lazy Bird :) ACAI: You can pick unlimited bases AND they have an acai option with LESS SUGAR, great for health-conscious people (like me hehe). Their pitaya was extra flavorful compared to most places! They also offer other bases such as matcha, mango, coconut, pineapple, and more. They offer nut-free granola which is a bouns esp for those who have nut allergies :) Another thing I loved about LB, is that they add granola at the bottom of your bowl first so that we can you get to the bottom of your bowl you still get some crunch & texture which is genius! AMBIENCE: They are located in a really small plaza in WeHo. They have free parking in the small lot behind their store and there is also metered parking around the area since it's pretty residential. Overall, I would most definitely return because their bowls are so good and so affordable! read more
