It was taking 12 to 15 minutes for one guy to take an order and make it. We were only 4th in line and waited 50 minutes to be served. Everyone in the line was complaining. A few people just gave up and left. When we finally got to the front we were told they were out of mango and strawberries and only had blueberries and banana but that was an additional cost. We waited in a long slow moving line, and it was so anticlimactic because when we got to the front of the line and ordered a Citrus 2 ($7) the staff handed us a prepackaged bottle of juice. WOW! They didn't even squeeze the juice fresh. Why was this taking so long?? Citrus 2 is a cold pressed juice made with apple, pineapple, lemon and mint with the pineapple being the dominant flavor. Decent, a bit sweet, but served its' purpose. For $7 I was expecting someone to make me a fresh juice, but I guess that's too much to ask for. I don't think I enjoyed it enough to come back. I didn't truly realize what a great company Pressed Juicery is until I joined their membership. Every month, they charge me $10 that would go towards the purchase of their juices or freezes which range from $6.50 to $8. In addition, members get some sort of a discount, whether it be an extra juice with their package deals (ie. so instead of 4 juices for $20, members would get 5 for $20). Or no matter what, members can get juices for $5 each. You can have the subscription fees add up if you didn't want to buy anything for that month. It's truly cost-effective for me. But besides all that, their juices are AMAZING! They are cold-pressed juices, no added sugar or flavoring. Cold-pressed process allows these juices to get the most nutrients from the produce as opposed to juices that are juiced by blending or with heat. The freezes has to be one of the best I have ever had. It's all plant-based and their toppings are good quality. I don't have any guilt having a matcha freeze with fresh strawberries, almonds and coconuts. Try it with their dark chocolate or almond butter drizzle. I can have this and not consider it a "cheat meal!" As for the staff, very friendly and efficient. I've always gotten good customer service. Location is convenient for me since I am in the area a lot but make sure you park in the lot closest to movie theaters if you want a short walk. One of the added perks that I love is that they close at 10pm (they shut down the machines earlier to clean) which means all my juice cravings (yes, I totally have them) can be fixed during late nights. The taste of the freeze far exceeds any expectation you would have given the positive nutrition facts. The reason for giving three stars is that I went almost a full thirty minutes before the posted closing time a couple months ago, and the employees were cleaning the machines and said they were closed. I understand closing up a few minutes early, but getting an almost 30 minute head start made me pretty upset. In fact, I endured the difficulties of the Grove parking lot just to get a freeze with the closing time in mind, and yet, they closed way before their hours stated. Other reviews seem to echo this same sentiment; I've never had this issue at any other Pressed location. It seems to be a Grove-specific issue. She already charged our card before realizing they were out of the chia pudding, so we were obligated to get an item anyways, so we got the strawberry lemonade. She provided us a free shot for the inconvenience, which was partially paid for with this mishap. The strawberry lemonade was mostly guilt-free due to the monkfruit, but it had a bitter note to it which was probably due to the basil. And most of all, it was maxxxx worth $3. I'm legit offended by this scam of a store. Save your money and make their pre-made products at home, or better yet I can set up vending machines around town selling the same stuff at half the price.
