After being shaken up from the lack of mask wearers in Wisconsin, my parents and I headed here due to the good reviews and my craving for pizza. Ambiance: All of the staff wore masks and weren't picking at them which was good. The restaurant isn't that big though so tables were not socially distanced and they were filling up at max capacity. We opted for patio seating to get more air circulation. Service: The hostess was nice and able to handle the line well. We only had to wait about 15 min. Our waitress was also great! She was tall and had a pizza mask on. Food: I was a little hesitant when the waitress said it'd be a soft Neapolitan style pizza (usually I like a little crunchiness), but they were delicious!! We ordered the Bosco pizza and sauce-less Sopressata pizza. The latter was spicy but nothing we couldn't handle. The mozzarella was the highlight of the slices. Stopped here on a Sunday around noon on our way out of town and were so glad we did. We ordered 3 pizzas, one margarita, one sausage and one pepperoni along with a Caesar salad. Everything was delicious, loved the consistency of the pizza, definitively New York style in having to fold it over. Pizza had just the right amount of sauce and the crust was perfect, we'll done but not burnt. Service was very good too, definitely a place you should stop while in Lake Geneva. read more

Visited Oakfire while we were passing through Lake Geneva. We sat upstairs at the bar and the view is phenomenal. I got a Caesar salad and the white pizza - Both were phenomenal! I also got a spicy Bloody Mary which was so good. I usually don't like Bloody Marys but Joey (the bartender) make it just right. Can't wait to come back if I'm ever back in the area. read more

Oak fire was super busy on a Saturday night so I figured it was top notch pizza- honestly pretty average. The meatballs were tender and I loved the sauce. Soup came out kinda cold. Excellent Gluten sensitive pizza!! If you're gluten sensitive this is a great place. If you're gluten free, or have Celiac's this is not the place for you. This place had the worst pizza I ever had in my life. The pizza was greasy, and so wet and watery the cheese just slides off. I also got a terrible stomach ache after eating here. I would bet most of the appetizers we got were frozen and the server tried his best but messed up the order and forgot things. It's no wonder this place has such great reviews - seems like one of the best restaurants around the area . We came on a Saturday night - seated fairly quickly (about 20 minutes). Service was great and quick. We got the calamari (could have done without - it was a bit over breaded) as well as a salad and a pizza. Everything other then the calamari was delicious and seasoned perfectly. I imagine during the summer this place is even more slammed - the view looked great and the outdoor seating was adorable. I'll try to keep this short, I was in Wisconsin for business and have been to many countries many cities and have had the opportunity to sample some amazing food. I decided to try Oakfire on a Monday night and it was amazing. I got the pepperoni and substitute the fresh mozzarella for the Buffalo mozzarella from the recommendation from the bartender. It was one of the best pizzas I've had, second to actually going to Naples and eating Neapolitan pizza. Friendly and fast service right on the water! Grateful for a good gluten free option and outdoor space in the summer.

Right when we walked in, we were greeted with the undeniable scent of fresh pizzas, and we knew we had made a great choice. We were seated quickly and our waitress was quick and attentive. We sat by the "window" on the second floor, essentially along the edge of the covered balcony, which offers a great view of the sunset (during the summer) but is fairly drafty. The first floor is much warmer due to the wood-fired pizza ovens. We ordered the arancini (pictured) and it hit the spot! A little more marinara sauce would have been nice but it was still very delicious. We ordered one pizza and one pasta dish - although the pasta dish was good, the pizza is definitely the star player here, so in the future we'll be sticking to the pizzas. The food and service were both excellent. I was traveling alone so I was seated right away and given an amazing view of the lake. My waitress was really kind and just the right amount of chatty, which I love when I'm sitting alone especially. I had cheese curds and a pizza, of which I had a lot of leftovers. I did a straightforward pepperoni and it was great - nice and crispy pepperonis, though maybe a little greasy for my taste but that's bound to happen with pepperoni. Maybe the best pizza in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. The pizza (or apizza since it is Neapolitan style pies) come in many iterations from traditional, classic and other more modern combinations. The white pie with honey is interesting. Appears that they give extra care to details in making each pie special. The pies are individual size, so don't hesitate to order a variety for the table. You may want to ask for the pie well done because some of our crust was a little soft/soggy. I prefer a crispy crust almost like a thin cracker. Our order consisted of Bosco Pizza w/Giardeniera, Classic Blanca, Pepperoni, Sausage Pesto and of course I had to be different by ordering the Chicken Parm and pasta dish. Not that I'm a New York pizza snob, but why risk it when I could just sample a slice from our friends. The Oakfire Cabernet is a nice bottle of wine that pairs well with the pies and is not over-priced. Paige G was a very nice server. The restaurant gets busy early in the evening even in the winter, so reservations would be helpful or if you know the manager they will seat you immediately. We visited lake geneva for the weekend and were recommended this spot. Such a cute place by the lake with great food! We got the Napoli salad, Portabella pizza and Pene Rosso pizza. Loved the thin crust and flavor in the pizzas and the salad. It was light and the perfect amount for four girls. This is one of the nicer restaurants in Lake Geneva and it's located right on the lake which makes for some really nice views! It can get super crowded here on the weekends, so expect a bit of a wait if you want a table. We usually sit up on the second floor at the bar, which never seems to have a wait. The service is phenomenal and the drinks are well priced. The only complaint I have is that the pizza is very oily. It's cool to watch them cook it in the giant oven but they could use about half the oil with the same result. Overall though, Oakfire is definitely worth the price and the wait! read more

So Oakfire is excellent. We got the Pepe Rosso pizza and the Meatball sandwich with the side salad for takeout. The bill came out to just over $30 with tip included. So it's like about on par for a medium bougie pizza place. What was above average was the food! So the Pepe Rosso brought the heat on a very good way. It was spicy and savory and did everything right. I can imagine this experience is even better in the restaurant. Similarly the Meatball sandwich was excellent. So like first off they do it on a split top bun, which is just my favorite! And they grill both sides so it's nice and crispy and has some extra browning/buttery flavor. The meatballs themselves were also great, good texture, good seasoning. Maybe could have used some red sauce on top, but you could just ask for a side for dipping and it'd be fine. Even the salad was pretty solid. Mostly comprised of arugula, but also included cherry tomatoes and shaves of hard cheese. All around good experience that translates well to take out experience during Covid. I would definitely recommend this place and go back. read more

You cannot beat this location! Stunning sunsets and gorgeous view of the water. We have eaten here twice. They do not take reservations so arrive early to get a table. You cannot leave the property when waiting because of the buzzer which is a bit of a bummer with kids. A text option would be better so you could walk around and come back. The pizzas and salads are so good. We love the wood oven pizzas - they are one of my husbands favorites. My daughter orders the kids hamburger and actually finishes her food. The sangria is delicious. Service for us has always been very positive. Love that it offers so many seating options - 2 floors and both floors offer inside and outside seating. The indoor windows/doors can be fully opened too - love! We will be back for all future Lake Geneva trips! read more

Nice Neapolitan pizza place in touristy Lake Geneva. We found many vegetarian options. The winter menu was nice with a walnut old fashioned (not much different than a regular brandy sweet old fashioned to my taste buds) and a panna cotta with cherries that was really wonderful.
