Much overdue inside and out. I was very satisfied with the outcome. However, on leaving and approaching my entrance onto the Sprain Parkway, my change cup opened and guess what? All my change had been taken. Not more than $3, but I had already left a tip. Plus my being a senior citizen, I received a discount. I think after that my discount was annulled. The only game in town, so they have almost zero customer service skills. I went there recently, paid for the highest cost wash/etc, and received a half-assed, lazily, barely-done job. The 4 hour old bird excrement that was on my windshield/wipers/hood remained in small patches, and the haphazard washers put fingerprints and smudges all over the car, including the passenger side door. The attitude was extremely negative and condescending from virtually everyone on the premises. I went back the next day for their "48 hour wash guarantee" due to the bird excrement still remaining on the car. I asked if they had actually put RainX on the car, as I noticed severe smudging and dirt/dust/other materials on the front windshield. I was just told "YOU HAVE TO PAY if you want more RainX! Not in guarantee." When the car came out the SECOND time, it *STILL* had bird poop and other particles on it. Finally summoned a guy to ask him to please clean it off, and I was mumbled to angrily in Spanish and called "high maintenance" in Spanish. I won't be going back there. There's another car wash that's not quite as awful (but still typical Yonkers garbage) by the Cross County. Guess I'll be going there instead of Oakley. 0 stars for quality of work on the exterior, 0.5 stars for cleaning/job on the interior, negative 20 stars for attitude. read more

1/6/2021 Zero stars. It is 10 for a car wash. The vacuum part is closed. A month ago the worker told me it was 15 for wax, Rainex and Armoral tires. I said ok give it to me. Two weeks ago a different worker told me it was 16. I paid him and received the services. Today I told the man I wanted Wax and Rainex also. He told me 21 dollars. I told him no way, it was 16 two weeks ago and 15 a month ago. He goes away and when he comes back about a minute later he told me ok 15. I go through the car wash and receive no wax. Zero. I did get Rainex. I asked to speak to the manager. The so called manager was the guy I paid 16 for all services two weeks ago. He would not refund me 5 dollars. He knows my face. I have bought numerous car wash books of 10 from him. In fairness I was told to go back through the car wash. I had no time. My wife needed the car. We are down to one car. They admitted they did not give me wax. Games are being played with prices and services. Games are also being played on how much English they understand and speak. That is my opinion. I tried calling Stuart M that answers the reviews. He listed his number. He did not answer the phone after 8 rings. Nobody did. When I told a neighbor about this he told me they are always playing games there with prices and services. I am a long time customer that will never return. I would rather take a chance at getting run over at the car wash on Brigham st. near Gerritsen Ave. than go to Oakleys. Save yourself some stress and aggravation. Efficient and detailed. Even when it looks like there are 8 or so cars in front of you these guys move really fast but also take the time to get into the detail. The mid range washes are great at around $15 but for $25 you get an outstanding wash, wax and armorall inside and out. The most I have waited there is 10 minutes from start to finish. Professional. I called Oakley to confirm they were open and they said they were taking people for interior wash until 6pm. While waiting on line, I was told that I wouldn't be at the front of the line in time and therefore they wouldn't take me. This is a ridiculous policy implementation and I along with all the cars behind me drove away. I stopped to tell the manager that the way it was handled made no sense - they should let people know the cut off BEFORE they spend 10-15 minutes on line - and person handling the line was rude and he didn't care at all. Better than most places, but sometimes the drying gets rushed which leaves salt streaks on the car in the winter months. Plenty of merchandise inside and a few snacks. Green mountain coffee is a plus. This place is also very busy during peak hours, I once waited in line for a good 30 plus minutes!!! My sister threw up in the car so I had her buy the most expensive interior detailing that Oakley's offered. They did 4 hours of work for almost 120 bucks and the car hasn't looked that clean in a long time. I told them to focus on the passenger seat because that is where she made the mess. The car smelled really bad when I brought the car in and it smelled great when it came out. But the reason Oakley's lost a star was because my mother said the car still smelled when I picked her up. I realized that the seatbelt was thrown up on and wasn't cleaned. Oakley's deserve 5 stars but they needed to get red of that smell. For the record I own a Dodge Challenger SRT8 A great car wash, It can get really busy in any day of the afternoon especially after 6PM when they discount the washes and go cash only. I wish they had a website so i could show other people interested in a good car wash but it just has to go off by my word. Go on a monday morning and they can easily spend 15-20 minutes detailing the interior of your car when you get the allstar package (The highest package they offer before going into the higher menu of detailing). If you just need a quick wash though for around 10$ you're in and out of the wash place. Management is as friendly as you can get, The staff as well. They treat each customer personal and are quick to remember your face and your car. Even had management come out to polish my car when i paid for one of the higher end detailings when it was busy since he didn't want me to wait. Just reading the reviews it turns out they offer a hand wash service that I didn't know about since it isn't advertised on their menus or advertisement flyers. I really liked How they use soap the entire time, and then they were kind enough to rinse the soap off of there. There were many cars there when I was there that day. Interior cleaning stopped at 6pm yesterday. I arrived at around 4:45 pm. I waited online until around 5:35. I was finally at the lower portion with around 6-7 cars ahead of me when a staffer came to my window and told me that interior cleaning would stop at 6pm sharp. He also suggested that if I wanted to "test my luck" I could continue waiting to see if I would get to the car wash portion in time. I was so frustrated that I had already over 45 minutes just to be told that I should "test my luck". What kind of unprofessional comment is this? I have been here a couple of times, and it has been just okay. They use brushes on your car, which is not good on black. My last visit I could not enter from one of the entrances. They usually have two entrances, I called on the phone, and the "lady" told me to just push myself in line. Took my car to wash and paid $40 for a half ass job. My dashboard wasn't wiped down with the armor all. The rug was still full of dirt. The only reason why they get one star is because the machine that washes the car did an okay job. Doors, center console, nothing was wiped down. THIS PLACE IS A FRAUD! They claim 48-Hour Clean Car Guarantee! NOT!!! Judging by the reviews, THIS PLACE IS GARBAGE! I have to confess, I've been coming to Oakley's for over 20 years. I've found that they are getting worse as time goes by and their customer service is lacking. My interior is Tan. I have the WeatherTech mats in my car. The workers always step inside my already clean car with their dirty shoes and stain the mats. The workers vacuum up my loose change (I wonder why???) The last time I went for a Rebound. The car came out fine. However, 3 hours later; a bird pooped on my car. I went back for a car wash because of the "clean car guarantee" and one of the guys hosed my car with soap while the other guy was looking to charge me. I showed him my receipt. He wanted me to come back the next day. I told him that I live an hour and a half away and that I was in earlier and he wouldn't wash my car unless I paid again.
