We had a great lunch on Saturday after our sons soccer game. A friend suggested Oakstone and this was our first visit. I think our waitress was Jessica. Super friendly and helpful. The vibe was super welcoming and we immediately felt comfortable.

What a hidden gem in the cottage grove business park! We started out with two drinks that were very tasty and well balanced. We then shared some Oakstone nachos with pulled pork. They were well covered and the cheese was delicious! Pulled pork was pretty bland but the other ingredients made up for it. We also split the Cajun shrimp po'boy sandwhich and WOW one of the best po'boys I've ever had. The shrimp are not fried but they have a lot of flavor. The bun was toasted and so soft. We ordered a side of the Mexican street corn. It is served cold. I was not a fan by my fiancé loved it. Overall, we will definitely be back to try more menu items! Our server was so friend and fast as well!

Came here for the in between lunch and dinner hour, lots of parking available and seats available. High top or booths and we opted for a booth. The server was very patient and waited on us multiple times before I had FINALLY made a decision. I got a burger and upgraded my soup. The chili definitely had a kick, some smokiness to it. Had I known it was this good, I would've upgraded to the larger size. The burger was lacking. The sauce was a little too much, making it salty. I asked for medium and got well done. I had also asked for tomatoes and lettuce which didn't come but the server was able to grab it after a couple of bites. Service was on the better side of standard but the main entree left me with the two stars.

We were at nearby Schuster's Farm and looking for somewhere to eat when this gem popped up. It's in an industrial area of Cottage Grove, and not somewhere you would generally look for a restaurant. However, you should look here - what a fun place!! We sat outside in a gorgeous day and enjoyed the super comfortable patio seating. There are two turf volleyball courts with lots of kid friendly games that anyone can use. The menu is varied, with lots of great sounding entrees and a respectable kid's menu. We had a tough time deciding! My daughter chose the chicken strips, my husband got a burger, and I got a burrito. The fries were outrageously delicious. Everyone loved their food! Would 10/10 recommend; we'll be back!

Staff and service were excellent. They were attentive, friendly, and very accommodating. We did truly enjoy our service and must give kudos to our server Drew. She was right on point! The atmosphere was inviting, warm and clean. The bathrooms were clean and well stocked. Impressive changing room for when you're there for activities ( they even have dodgeball coming up!). While everyone in our group of 6 enjoyed the food, we also all agreed that it really could've been warmer. The butter wouldn't melt on anyone's toast/english muffins. And for some reason there was about a 5 minute delay for the delivery of half the orders We would like to try it again, but the temperature issue for the food will be the make it or break it for us.

    Nice!

I have been coming here for brunch on Sundays lately. Five dollar absolute bloodys with a pleasant outdoor seating area and a smaller brunch menu, pick anything and you can't go wrong! So relaxing!

Do they allow dogs on the patio?

Hi Amy, yes we do!!!!! There is a side gate on the west end of the patio. You can park on the street and bring your pup right in.

Yes, the wine is obviously good too with a selection for all preferences. I've been here a few times now, and it has quickly become one of my favorites. I cannot get over how good their food is! I've now tried every single flatbread on their menu, and they're all outstanding! Even their steak gorgonzola flatbread is incredible and I don't like steak! They also have the best spinach artichoke dip I've ever tasted, and they're served with these delightful warm pieces of pita bread... I'm pretty sure this stuff came right out of an oven. On my most recent visit, I actually ended up getting an Old Fashioned and my dining mate got a cosmo. Both were absolutely fantastic. The bartender even came over and said the last bit of the cosmo he made tasted like it was heavy on the lime and he offered to re-make it... I'd call that service to the hilt! There was no need to re-make the cosmo, however, as we both found it to be delicious. The bar also has some really great high end liquors and craft beer options. They also have NA options. So, while it is a fun wine bar where you get to self-service pour your own wine, don't let the name fool you -- this place has something for everyone. I've also come here with a friend who has a gluten allergy and they have gluten free bread for their delicious flatbreads. Overall this place is great for an intimate night out or a night out with the girls. They have plenty of seating and an upstairs area with games and such as well. There's an outdoor patio as well for when the weather cooperates. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Atomic Koi Cocktail Lounge in Fitchburg, WI has potential to improve if they had the right staff! I…read morehave gone there on more than one occasion where their bartenders were rude, unprofessional, and ruined the overall experience. My husband still loves coming to Atomic Koi Cocktail Lounge because it's a laid back lounge away from the rowdier young local college students bar atmosphere that's still vibrant with an eclectic vibe with illuminated fish tanks and a fun cozy ambiance. The crowd is mostly young working professionals near the area mid 20s-30s on up that are looking to unwind and have fun with their family/friends. Atomic Koi is a fun lounge that has games like a giant Connect Four, a pool table, shuffle board, and darts. They also have a good diverse cocktail menu that has something satisfying for everyone from martinis, tropical drinks, mojitos, beer, and more. Recently, my husband suggested the Atomic Koi to show our friends and family from out of town a good time in the Madison area. I ordered a cocktail and the bartender claimed they didn't have the ingredients to make the drink which didn't bother me but I have gone to Atomic Koi more than once trying to order a cocktail on their menu and the bartenders claimed they were unable to make it or didn't have the ingredients or maybe they just didn't feel like making it like some of their ice cream drinks and it wasn't busy in the moment. I then ordered the Golden Colada which is a fun pineapple tropical flavored drink! If they are unable to make a specific drink but the drink is advertised on their menu they should be able to make it consistently if requested otherwise take it off the cocktail menu permanently because patrons expect to be able to order a specific drink if its on the menu. My husband, friends, and family were having a good time. A back corner nook opened up where some people left and we wanted to sit there as a group however there was super sticky drinks on the floor under the table nook. One of my family members asked one of the bartenders if she could please mop up the sticky floor or find another staff that could. The bartender was super rude to my family member and said she wasn't going to mop it up until closing time at 1am. Then my family member asked if she would at least get someone to pull the mop out from the back and he would mop it up himself and she refused. She should have politely told my family member "sorry I am unable to leave the bar area but I will find another staff to mop it up when they are able to" but it was her rude don't care entitled attitude which didn't leave a good impression on my family members from out of town. I went back up to the bar and spoke to a different bartender who wasn't busy tending the bar and told him the situation. He did fix the situation and mopped up the sticky floor when he was able to which I appreciated but he looked over it like he didn't really want to be there not really friendly. If Atomic Koi could consistently recruit/ retain more professional, trained, personable, friendly bartenders and actually follow through in making cocktails actually advertised in their cocktail menu , its a great spot to go to for a great drink and a fun place to unwind!

However, the vibe here was not comfortable and that's a huge part of a bar experience in my view. The booth we sat in was ackward height and the lighting was terrible inside. The sun was blasting in on one end and the other end was pitch black so it was just hard to see. I also couldn't tell what the decor and theme was supposed to be. One plus is that they did have a cute indoor electric fire which would be nice to sit by in cozy season. I would go back in the summer to sit on the outdoor patio and try an alcoholic ice cream drink! I do also wish they had food options... even just apps or to partner with a restaurant nearby to have their menu available for delivery to the bar. I've seen that at other bars before and appreciate that convenience.
