I don't think I could ever come here and not order it!! Pop's has such cool, relaxing vibe to it. It feels like home even though I live far away from Gilroy. Whether you're hungry and/or thirsty and you're in town, get off the 101 and come here. You will not be disappointed!

There is also a pool table and few arcade games! The menu is extensive with plenty of traditional bar food options and some Irish staples. Everything sounded delicious, but I opted for the Pop"s Pub burger. I figured that would be a good starting point to get a feel of how good the food is. The burger was good, but not $21.00 good. The fries were tasty ,and I really enjoyed the side salad that came with it. The burger itself came with lettuce , tomato and a house sauce (thousand island blend). The burger was cooked perfectly , and tasted pretty good. However, when you add a $10.00 IPA to the equation and throw in a tip- I was out $41.00. I didn't like my meal enough to spend that kind of money. For a burger to be this pricey, I needed more. This place seems like a cool place to chill ,watch a game, and enjoy a cold beer. I may just do that next time and skip the meal. The service was poor. Once my food was dropped off , I never heard from the lady again to check on me until she dropped off the check.

I'd done my Yelp research and... What a find this place is! That score is good but it deserves to be higher. Westside Grill ticked all the boxes. - Let's start with service; waitperson Celeste was that rare combo of super friendly and knowledgeable/professional. Also I think she'd make a great daughter in law. Probably not PC to say that... - Food was delicious! On a busy night, each dish still earned rave reviews. Standouts were the house salad (SO fresh and perfect combination of ingredients) , the lobster bisque (spot on with just the right level of mild sweetness and savory) and the crab salad sandwich. Oh, and the prime rib. And the fresh pasta. Even the fries were kind of crispy-creative! And don't even get me started on the caramely dessert beignets. In this age where restaurants are still struggling, this one is busy busy busy for a reason. Someone (owners?) did their homework. We now have a favorite family meeting venue! Nicely done, WG.

Even experienced that bartenders banter all in good fun with many laughs. The place has a couple pool tables and darts which were always busy. I've always wanted to visit this place for karaoke, finally made it out on a Saturday night…read more Terrible experience with the KJ for the night. What's the point of karaoke if you turn down the mic and can't hear the singer? Even asking the KJ to turn up the mic mid song and I feel like he turned down the mic even more. The worst part as a singer is you have to put more energy into singing and it's the most annoying thing to do. This KJ had a lot of ego while at it sensitive too for a simple request. He seems to favor the women, quite obvious and sexist. These are the worst kinds of KJ you deal, unfortunately. Yikes! He barely has any singers, and disses new singers -- what a joke. I stayed longer to observe a bit more and I can guarantee you that he definitely has favorite singers/regulars. Side note on the bartenders, they really know how to ignore you lol, I mean this place is really nice, but the people running this place!!! Really don't like the way they treat people. Yuck, never coming back. Hope yall do something about this, puts a bad name on your business.

We grabbed a white wine flight that was extremely well curated, every pour was refreshing and easy to enjoy. The flatbread was surprisingly really good too and paired perfectly with the wine. The back patio completely makes the experience though. Beautiful weather, live music setup, relaxed crowd, and just an overall easygoing Los Gatos afternoon vibe. The guava mimosas were also a standout. Light, fruity, refreshing, and perfect for patio sipping.

It was pretty quiet when we went (only one other group outside at 1pm on a Saturday). The vibes are very chill--we came in through the side entrance and grabbed a spot in the back. There are plenty of tables and chairs available, most with umbrellas for shade; there seems to be a few tables with built in fire pits as well. There was also a stage in the back for live music, which would have been awesome to enjoy with some cold wine on a hot day. The inside area is nice, bright, quiet, and clean. They have TVs for sports, news, etc. There are a bunch of open seats and bar area with additional seating. There is a solid selection of beverages, including lots of wine and flights. Reds, whites, rosé, sparkling, and more. They also do dessert wines and bubbly cocktails! You can order most things by the glass, or full bottle. If you're not into wine, they also have a selection of beer, ciders, and non-alcoholic options! We had just had a big meal so didn't get any food, however they had a solid menu featuring items like flatbreads, sandwiches, tacos, salads, Mediterranean dishes, crostinis, and of course cheese and charcuterie plates. The woman working was friendly and helpful with answering questions and making sure we were taken care of. This is definitely a cute and fun spot to grab a drink, or whole bottle to share. I look forward to coming back and trying their food, while listening to some live music! IG: @bbnem.eats
