I'm not exactly sure what magic they do at this place but my gel manis look perfect after 2 weeks and can go into the third and fourth with barely a chip. I had time to go today but it's only been two weeks and I can't justify it because they still look great (only a bit grown out at the cuticle of course). I am upset that I even have to write a such negative review about a place I used to go to so often in my neighborhood. I even put my mom and some of my friends onto this place. Where do I start? So I went in for a manicure and pedicure to treat myself as it had been some time since I did self care. Pedicure: So I started off this nail shop nightmare with a pedicure. It was relaxing at first, the massage chair was on and one of the employees was trimming my toes, softening and tending my cuticles and calluses. Tell me why all the nails clipping, cuticles clipping, and old nail polish that's been drilled into a powder was dusted off and tossed into my foot soak. YES GIRL! All that stuff was TOSSED and floating in my lil tub with my whole feet and legs in it. Mood instantly ruined. It was gross to feel toe clippings brush on your skin. I took my feet out of the water and never put them back in. Like who TF does that?? 1st pic: I've been growing my natural nails out while having acrylics. I've always had healthy and thick nails so acrylics never been a problem. But yeah I ain't want acrylics no more due to work and requested a soak off. I look away and the guy who I presumed is the owner of the place clipped my pinky nail to a stub after I had been growing it out and taking care of my naturals for 7 weeks! 2nd and 3rd pic: One of the ladies went over my naturals too much with the drill because they were impatient and careless to just give me 20-35 minutes for a soak. They could've soaked my nails while I had gotten my pedicure but ain't no probably thinking that far ahead or care! In conclusion and it's in great sadness I don't think I would recommend this place again or ever return. I deserved more for having paid $85 of my own hard worked money. WOW! I use to come here regularly years back and had an awesome lady (LeAnn) who did my pedicures. I can't even remember why I stopped coming but stopping in from time to time has never been a problem. I'd call in speak with the owner Angel and make an appointment. Today was no different. I called greeted Angel as it has been years. I was told LeAnn was no longer there but she could take my 2 sisters and I at 3:30p. We arrived and she stated she could take 2 of us. I was started first and when my sister was seated next to me and her tech pulled the cart over, I noticed an old pumice in a cup. I alerted my tech that I would want a new pumice when that time came to which she replied they were empty. I inquired what she meant and again stated I wanted a brand new pumice and stated the salons are all now using new pumice stones. I advised if there were no new stones I would like to stop the service. Something was stated to Angel in their language and Angel then came over and stated she ordered but they were all out. I commented to Angel that I was surprised after all this time she was still reusing pumice stones - yes this was a practice some time ago where shops were cleaning the stones but all the shops I've been to including the one I've been going to regularly but unfortunately couldn't get an appointment today give you a NEW pumice each time, even if they use the smaller ones to which Angel replied she tried ordering the smaller ones in the past but they break. I again stated if I can't get a new pumice I would like to stop the service. Angel had my tech unwrap the "clean" pumice and show me saying see clean and when she flipped it over there were seriously several spots on the stone. I politely said, it's okay and Angel told the tech to go to the sink and scrub it again. No, it's okay, I would just like to stop the service, Thank you. I apologized and told Angel and my tech I didn't know they were still reusing pumice stones especially now with COVID. I mean c'mon, it's literally been years, the prices have increased ($25+) as with most salons after COVID but how is it that you increase your prices but your practices have not changed. The nickel-and-dime games by these slop-chop-nail-shops become more disgusting & unbelievable by the day (oh, how I long for the days when getting your nails done automatically included a manicure). Beware of Oanh's on Foothill Boulevard - total RIP OFF - and FILTHY and unsanitary (had to ask the guy to put down a clean towel on the table). SCENARIO: go in and ask the costs for a fill (marquee shows $8 and up) with a "nail trim" (un-friggin' believable to be required to pay extra to "clip" the nail) * $12, the woman answers. OK, great, I say and head for table to which she's pointing. * this guy does the fill, trim, puts a clear coat on to "make them shiny," he says. * I give him $15, tell him to keep the change. He tells me I owe $3 MORE - that price is $18. What? I ask. She told me $12, I advise. He replies, "She don't know. I know." *"Isn't that a bait-and-switch?" I ask, incredulous because at $18, the cost was MORE THAN AN ENTIRE SET OF NEW NAILS (chart shows $16 and up). The woman comes over and says, "It's OK, OK. $15 is OK." So, I learned a lesson I won't repeat....except here to warn others. AVOID this horrible place by any means necessary. read more

I had the worst experience in this nail shop. It started off bad. I called yesterday and made an appointment for today(5/23/14) at 10am. I arrived on time. To make a long story short, angel came 30 minutes late. I don't know why I even waited that long. I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Angel and her employees were rude to me and all the other customers in the shop because of one RATCHET woman who was giving angel a hard time. That's not cool. I paid and left no tip. I was pissed by the time I left. I could've acted up but I didn't. Instead I choose to not go to go there anymore and give the shop a negative review. If I could give this place no stars I would. I came here in hopes of finding a new nail salon. I told the owner that I was very picky and I needed someone who had a lot of experience and she told me I can take you. I have twenty years of experience . I started off with a pedicure that was very rough and aggressive. I kept telling the woman that I didn't like pain... I made it through that one. It is now time for my fill.... I showed her a shape of the nails that I wanted and she began... OMG I'm not about to tell you that this lady put so much powder on my nails that it was underneath my nails.. I have an overlay (acrylic powder on the top of my natural nails) When I said something and she begin filing the acrylic with my natural nail..I was outraged...(She told me she had 20 years of experience) in the 30 years I've been getting my nails done I've never had such a sloppy acrylic job done. My natural nails are ruined but I let her continue and she couldn't get the shape correct even though I showed her three different pictures of what I wanted...I was just done.....then told her that I didn't want her to continue doing my nails and I want her to stop... she was very insulted and got a straight attitude.saying I'm not done yet.... naw this is trash and I don't want it....I asked her how much do I owe you so I can leave here, I paid her for the pedicure and as I was walking out the door she came and pushed me out the door....Unfortunately I had to teach her that that's not the way you treat customers..... once I finally left she locked the door and proceeded to cuss,bend over slap her ass and act real tough behind the door...smh!!! I do not appreciate the service I got at this nail shop I orginally went in to get my feet done atfer I was done getting my feet done while drying decided to get my nails done atfer making those decision I was approached by the guy in the shop n he said why u didn't decide to get hands done while I was getting feet done I responded because I was debating he then kind of laughed it off in the process of him doing my nails he kept getting up and stopping he kept going into some back room while he was using one of the tools on my fingers he cut me twice n kept telling me not to move even though I wasn't moving they kept offering me to get gel nails atfer I explained I was on a budget which made me feel they just wanted to get more money outta me I figured they was gonna over charge me but I was smart about it n asked before they finished was giving a reasonable price but I'm still not satisfied they triple coated the nail polish on the nails which took even more longer for my nails to dry while drying my money was in my bra I tried to grab money n messed up a nail the head lady on the shop became inpatient n commented pay first n I'll fix she even lowered the price coming off like she was getting inpatient with me being in the shop so I let her fix my nail I was so drained st this point I was at least in the shop for 3 hours atfer she fixed my nail she made a smart rude comment saying maybe go to your shop they do it better as in telling me if I'm not satisfied go to my shop I do not appreciate the service as of right now the skin around two fingers are cut n the skin around some of my nails are sore if I do return they will never touch my hands again I'm pissed read more

Beware!!!!! This place is a sham!!! They're main goal Is money. And they LACK customer service. I went in today to get my nails toes and eyebrows done for my bday. Well the man that works there cut my finger. I asked for a discount he said something in his native tongue then told me no. Upset already I suggested he throw away the item he cut me with because there was blood on it. Never saw him throw it away bin fact he pretended not to hear me. I get a nail color that I liked to look at it because I wanted to buy it from a store and the woman stares at me then the polish. Then proceeds to tell me its her polish. Angel, one of the owners does the best job with waxing eyebrows, facial, whatever! She's your girl! Weekends are always busy best time to get sane service is Mondays or Tuesdays. Calling in an appointment does not help much on swamped weekends. Located on the Foothill strip, not the safest, parking is ok most days of the week.
