Came here on a Wednesday night, it wasn't busy. My friend and I sat at the bar. I ordered a Moscow mule $16 and it was good. My friend ordered a mango basil drink that was good too $17. We got the Brie and pear pizza and it tasted like an apple pie. We also ordered the mussels and couldn't finished them, they were gritty. We mentioned the grit to the bartender and she said that no one's complained about them and then had an attitude with us. We made sure to whisper and tell her politely about the mussels. It wasn't her fault at all. Idk why she was upset. She comped the mussels which we weren't expecting. The people next to us ordered bao buns that looked great. Might be back for that. The total was $53 for the pizza and two cocktails. Plus a $20 tip. read more

Went to happy hour/dinner with another couple on a Thursday. We were seated at a booth. When inquiring about the happy hour menu we were told we had to sit at the bar or back of the restaurant to order off that menu. The restaurant was mostly empty. The service was mediocre. The food was way overpriced, especially since the quality of the food wasn't good. All 4 of us agreed it wasn't worth the money. We could have been more comfortable and had a way better and less expensive meal if we just had them over. read more

Went in for a snack and to taste what the restaurant is about...ordered ice tea, a cocktail, and mussels = $60 The mussels were decent sized. The sauce for the mussels was like a can of Campbell s chicken noodle soup with a couple of cooked tomatoes and two pieces of onion. We are okay to not return. Good atmosphere and burger but food is not as fancy as it used when they 1st opened last year so ignore the year old photo with the name printed on the big burger buns. Hey All Restaurants, (not just this one) We prefer the buns not soggy so maybe all restaurants can put buns on the side and let customer attach the buns. The burger buns got smaller and no fancy sauce arrives in bowls. This Pizza is better than most with creative pairings of pair and Brie and most food is bad in SWFL! The "rum flambéed" bananas was an entire sliced cooked small banana with a dark interior center vein and 1 scoop of ice cream plus caramel-- pretty small and zero flambé & zero real rum. Maybe there's some rum flavoring but we did not see nor taste that. Restaurants in SWFL charge $14-16 for 1 slice of dessert so it ought to be exciting! Not impressed.... started with oysters, which were not even the size of a quarter. Waste. Ordered the scallops dinner, but that came out basically raw, not even close to seared. My wife and I accompanied by another couple decided to try this restaurant last night since there no good restaurants in the Immokalee road area. Well we were very pleasantly surprised how good this restaurant was. The service was attentive and had a good pace for how crowded the restaurant was. I had the Tuscan salmon which was prepared perfectly although I did not read it was in a red sauce. I typically have a white sauce but still tasty. My wife ordered the roast chicken which I tasted and thought it was cooked perfectly and very delish. Our friends had snapper which they mentioned was very good. Overall I recommend this restaurant. Only issue is like other restaurants in a strip mall the acoustics are not great and it is noisy. If you like the ambience of a crowed place with noise this is your place. This is my second and final visit. The first time I had the Ragu, which had a strange taste. Tonight I had the Ribeye. It arrived and I carved about 20% of it off, which was fat. When we walked in there was a family and no one else in the restaurant. We ordered 2 Arnold palmers and then ordered our meal. It took a long time to get our meal. Which I was surprised it took so long. I had finished my drink. And the waiter was nowhere to be found. He brought our food and I asked for another Arnold Palmer. The food apparently had been cooked and it had been sitting for awhile cause my steak was room temperature and the fries were already starting to get cold. I ate my food cause I was hungry. After I was done eating the waiter shows up with my drink. My wife also didn't enjoy her lunch very much either. She had chicken and a loaded baked potato which all it came with was a little bacon and a little butter which cost 12 dollars. (I don't mind paying as long I am getting good quality food and service) but I could have gotten a real loaded baked potato elsewhere for about 7 bucks. And the service was mediocre. You don't get a second chance for a first impression. I don't know if I'll be back. I left a ten dollar tip which I think was too much. Sorry but I was not impressed. I have been here several times times and it has always been very good. So far we have tried the sirloin tips, ribs gnocchi, bison burger, and several appetizers and everything has been very good! It is consistently a good place for dinner or lunch. The service has always been good, tonight we had Gabe as a server and he did a great job, there enough to check in and stay on top of service but not overly where it takes away from your dinner. For dessert we had the molten lava cake. Everything was 10/10 in taste. We were able to taste the wine before purchasing which I thought was great. We sat outside because I brought my dog, so it is dog friendly but you have to sit outside. They do have fans but I wish they were a bit stronger because the 5pm sun doesn't play. There were shades but you can't beat the humidity. It's more on the expensive side but in truth it's cheap considering the service and food. I've been a regular customer at oar and Iron since day 1. I can't even describe the disappointment of the food quality now. It use to be super good, and had special little touches . Now it's just janky bar food. They try to make it high end when everything is as cheap as possible now. The ahi stack was basically microwavable rice with diced up tuna, no sauce, no flavor. We asked for wonton chips and sauce for it, just to try and make it better. They brought us out corn tortilla chips and didn't have a sauce for it. We then ordered the pork bao buns! The pork was like 3 weeks old and tasted spoiled. Less than an hour, I was sick with food poisoning. This place will not make it long! And honestly I can't wait for it to go away after the crappy quality it's been delivering the past few times. They definitely changed chefs and it is VERY noticeable! read more

This restaurant is legendary!! The restaurant itself is so beautiful and the staff is incredible! Let me not forget the food that is out of this world! My dad and I love this restaurant. Their dishes are so fresh and scrumptious, and I'm so grateful Naples has been blessed with a restaurant that goes above and beyond in ensuring every dish is catered to those with dietary restrictions. My dad has a gluten allergy, and they always go above and beyond in labeling the gluten-free dishes for us. Not only do each dish I've tried consist of an explosion of delicious flavors, but they're also prepared perfectly. I almost feel guilty eating them because they're beautifully crafted. It's easy to see that whoever puts these meals together has a high aesthetic standard. HUGE shout-out to the chefs here for not only being legendary chefs, but for being legendary artists. I'm super grateful my dad found this place and look forward to the next time we go here again! I pray God blesses this restaurant and all of the staff here tenfold on behalf of my gratitude. Understand it's 3-4 weeks old and they will probably get better. However, the food was below average, unfortunately. My group agreed that it's a spot to cozy at the bar have some cocktails and appetizers. My FIL got the snapper and looked like a kid prepared it and it was recently thawed out and reheated in a plate. Didn't even get a pic of it. Sweet potato fries were amazing tho!
