Definitely give this place a try. We will be back. We did the lamb platter and chicken platter to go. The helping size was enormous. My chicken platter was delicious. The rice was cooked to perfection. We were very happy with the service. They have a couple tables to dine in. But we will always take it to go.

Oasis Chicken & Grill in Franklin, WI is a must try food destination for Halal food! I would give them more than 5 stars with an excellent A+ score if I could! My husband & I were blown away by an incredible welcoming dining hospitality experience at Oasis Chicken & Grill with some of the best food I have ever tried! It is a smaller dine in restaurant and take out spot located in a shopping plaza. They serve delicious varieties of different types of meat gyros, Halal combo meat platters with rice and side salad, fried chicken with fries, and sandwich combos such as Philly cheesesteak sandwhiches! We ordered the combo platter (lamb & chicken), lamb gyro, and shared an order of the 6 piece fried chicken wings and fries! The owner and staff were very accommodating, friendly, and delivered amazing customer service! The owner took pride in caring about every little detail of our food with sincere warmth making us feel very welcomed as if we were guests in his own home or sanctuary, sharing his love for cooking! Every aspect of our food were extremely fresh from the tomatoes, the lettuce in my salad, to the meat. Our food came out hot, freshly made to order, while the owner served our food with great hospitality! I 100% recommend the combo meat platter with lamb, chicken, rice, and side salad! It is truly one of the most memorable best things I have ever eaten! The combo platter was a magical flavorful explosion of delicious flavors having a party in my mouth! You know food is truly touching your soul when you start doing the happy dance in your seat! The combo platter was a generous portion size of lamb and chicken perfectly cooked, extremely tender, and perfectly seasoned with lots of flavor! The hot sauce and tzatziki sauce took it to a whole new level of deliciousness! The rice that came with combo platter was perfectly cooked bursting full of delicious exotic spices/flavor! The salad that came with combo platter provided a nice light refreshing balance to the hearty meat and rice! The chicken wings were well seasoned, fried to a hot, crispy golden perfection! ! The fries that came with fried chicken were also hot, fresh, crispy and even included a delicious dipping sauce! My husband also loved his lamb gyro! I highly recommend Oasis Chicken and Grill for outstanding food and customer service! We left their so happy, satisfied, and still think about their delicious food even after our visit!

This was the new restaurant of the week and it's new so I stopped by, it's previously that Cuban restaurant that wasn't bad at all. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak off the menu which shows lettuce, tomato and Mayo on the cheese steak. First off my order taker had no clue when I said just it as the menu shows with lettuce, tomato and mayo. Thank you that the cook asked me what I wanted on my the Philly cheesesteak and I tell the cook just as the menu shows with tomato, lettuce and Mayo with no ketchup, ketchup might have been ok. Seriously I get just the opposite of what two different people asked me what I wanted on my Philly cheesesteak of what your menu picture shows. WTF why even ask me if I'm not even getting the menu item your serving. The bread was fresh and soft but the Philly had a weird flavor to it. Maybe that's why the place was empty, swing and a miss today.

Very fast service although it tastes nothing like fast food everything tastes fresh. The staff is nice everytime i'm there i've even gone in 20 minutes from closing and they didn't seem to mind. My food was pushed out within 2-3 minutes and i was on my way. I don't really like this style of food ever but I'll eat it from here it's so good sometimes i just crave it.

I was here yesterday with my Dad for lunch. It was my first time. We were greeted with a smile. Our food was freshly prepared after we ordered while we waited. I had the chicken platter. My Dad had the lamb gyro. We shared some wings. Everything was excellent! Great flavors, generous portions, crispy wings. They kept checking on us to see if we needed anything, offering additional sauces etc. We went to leave and they packed our leftover on bags and even offered more rice to go. I can't say enough about the friendly service! I will definitely return! Overall excellent experience!

10/10 we got 2 combo platters, so flavorful. Service was also exceptional, extremely friendly people. We will be back.

Today I got the Philly cheesesteak and it was not what I was expecting. It displays that it comes with lettuce, tomato and cheese. However all I got was cheese, but barely any of it. The flavor was solid but nothing that blew me away and felt like the mayo they added was unnecessary. Probably wouldn't get again but wanted to give it a try. Keep in mind this is the 3rd I've been here and I've never had a bad experience when it comes to the customer service. All 3 times have been greeted and had the chance to talk to both the cook and cashier for a few minutes, very nice people. They always get me in/out in a timely manner on my lunch break too. As far as the combo platter goes I would 100% recommend. The portions of the platter will definitely fill you up. You can tell they take the time to make sure the meat of choice is seasoned well to compliments the rice given in the platter. There is a lot of white sauce on the plate however I'm not the biggest fan of any white condiments, I felt like the sauce brings it all together once you mix it up. 4/5 only based more on my first 2 experiences with this place and their food!

Incredibly delicious and flavorful! For our first visit, we got a mixed platter and mixed pita (both had chicken and lamb gyro). Definitely some of the best food I've ever had. Even the pita bread was different than most and had a nice buttery crisp to it. Love the white and red sauces too. To top it off, the service was very nice and caring. Already looking forward to our next visit!

First time coming here and the food was so fresh and flavorful! The staff is so kind and caring. I highly recommend this place!! One of the best phillys I've had in mke.

In front is a sunken tree garden that must be a neat place to enjoy your food when the weather is nice. It's very shaded and has nice benches and a relaxing vibe to it. It's also the only place that I saw to sit down and enjoy your food. Inside the building is quite large but only has about 4 tables to stand next to without any seats. I think most people either go eat the food in their car or take it home. I ordered 2 scoops of their frozen soft serve custard. The flavored scoops were vanilla and turtle pecan. It cost $5 and change which was a real value too. I stood in a short line and had my dessert in less than 5 minutes. They have several lines to stand in to serve the many customers who come here. The vanilla scoop was rich and delicious. The turtle pecan scoop rocked my world! It had many half pecans in it and the custard was perfect in a buttery like taste that made me what to order another serving but in the interest of my waistline I decided not to. This custard impressed me. They also serve burgers, hot dogs, etc. too and I am sure it's all good here. This is a big operation that serves many people. I counted somewhere between 15-20 people working there all dressed in their white uniforms behind the counter. I wish we had a Kopp's where I live!

I would habe given 5 stars if it were for custards only, but burger and fries were quite poor…read more Reading thru a lot of old and new reviews, both from Yelp and internet in general, I got the sense that burgers used to be a lot better in the old days. Having tried them for the first time, I have to say, I can completely understand why they would say that, even without prior knowledge. I could definitely see the potential from the first bite of the burger. Patties were cooked right and gave me pleasant feeling of decent bite, except for being a bit bland. Buns definitely did not add anything to the totality of the burger, staying consistent with what everyone says. Made me wonder what kind of buns they used to use that made it better. Did not care for the soggy, green leafy part of lettuce they shoved into it. Like a normal person, I prefer a bit of crunch in my burger lettuce, but it did nothing but take away from the experience. I was sold on the idea of fried onions, but my onions didn't look or feel fried. Maybe my expectations were different on what fried onions meant? I was imagining deep fried battered onions, but maybe what I got was non-battered fried onions. Either way, it didn't leave any impression. I think I also made the mistake of asking for ketchup and mustard without specifically asking just how much. My burger ended up being too sour due to too much of both. I think I read on their website somewhere that I was supposed to be able to taste the specialness of their Wisconsin cheese, but everything else about the burger was so overpowering that I barely could tell if there was any cheese at all. Fries were SUPER soggy from the get go. I *only* brought the bad outside to open it immediately after grabbing them, so it wasn't like they stayed in the bag long enough to get soggy. Now.. having said all that. Custards were amazing! Definitely at the top of my list of frozen custards I've had thus far. The girl at the counter had me try both the daily specials and both were super good. So good that I'll probably drive my girls an hour out here just to buy them custards, especially as it gets warmer. If it were just for burgers and fries, I might have given them two stars. But since the name of the institution is Kopp's Frozen Custard, I'm more inclined to be a bit forgiving.. I had them at 3 stars originally, but I think I'll bump it up to 4, landing them personally at 3.5.

Therefore I can't speak to service or ambiance. I can say that we ordered four different iterations of their Chicago dog and we all enjoyed it. BF had the traditional jumbo dog with everything and liked it. My cousin had her jumbo without relish or onions and was happy as a clam. Mom enjoyed her jumbo dog without the relish and also was pleased. I had the veggie version with no green yuck relish and fried onions and it was really good. Who knew I liked that flavor combo? Also, kudos for offering a veggie dog option. That's a smart business choice. I also had onion rings and while I usually prefer battered rings, the crunchiness of these was undeniably excellent, even delivered, even from a location not super near to me. Nice! My mom and cousin enjoyed their chocolate malt, and I applaud that they offer malts and not just shakes, but we only got one of the two we ordered. That was a shame. Still, I'm pleasantly surprised by my foray into carnivore territory.

The Steakout - Milwaukee, WI…read more If you're headed to Milwaukee, The Steakout is an absolute must. I eat steak at least once a week, both at home and at restaurants. At home, I know exactly what my family and I like. Ordering steak out is always a bit of a gamble. My husband usually avoids it because 1) we (well I) make great steak at home and 2) every other business meeting seems to happen at a steakhouse. The Steakout is the exception. This place was a solid 10/10 from start to finish. The Atlantic Salmon was an absolute masterpiece. Yes...even in the Midwest. Sushi-grade salmon, perfectly seared on the outside with a buttery medium-rare center. We almost ordered the walleye because, well, Wisconsin. Instead, we took a chance and were rewarded big time. Paired with a bright lemon aioli and served over a rich butter broth, every bite made us look at each other and say, "Okay...this was the right decision." Aside from finding a couple fish bones (because fish are, in fact, made of fish and bones), this dish was outstanding. Now let's talk Prime Rib. Prime rib and I have a complicated relationship. I see it on a menu and immediately think, "this is the one." Then about half the time I spend the rest of dinner wishing I'd ordered something else, like a trusty ribeye or NY Strip. Not here. The Steakout absolutely nailed it. Perfectly medium rare, juicy, flavorful, with a fantastic au jus, beautifully seared asparagus, and just the right thickness. Honestly, I don't know what they could've done better. I couldn't make anything up even if I tried! The French Onion Soup was another winner. Rich, cheesy, and exactly what you hope for when you order French onion soup. And because it's a true Midwest supper club, dinner started with a warm bread basket and a classic relish tray loaded with fresh vegetables, pickles, and olives. Honestly, I wish every restaurant still did this. Bring back relish trays! Of course, no great steak dinner ends without dessert. Even though we were absolutely stuffed, we ordered the tiramisu to go. "To go" lasted approximately five minutes. By the time we waddled to the car looking like Violet after her Willy Wonka blueberry fiasco, that tiramisu didn't stand a chance. Thankfully, we headed straight to Milwaukee's Summerfest afterward to walk off at least a few of the calories. Zero regrets. For the quality of food, the portions, and the overall experience, The Steakout is incredibly reasonably priced. If you're anywhere near Milwaukee, do yourself a favor and put this one at the top of your list.

We made a last minute reservation but am so glad we did because this place got busy quick! We arrived a little earlier than our reservation so we sat at the quaint bar (the layout reminded me of a "Cheers" episode) and enjoyed a glass of wine until we were called to be seated, promptly at exactly when our reservation was for. The bartender was friendly and helpful in suggesting a selection of wine too. I ordered a petite filet but I think it would've been helpful to have the weights of the other two filets listed on the menu as well. My steak was cooked as requested. Clearly this is a local favorite and heavily supported. Reservations are recommended for sure.
