I happened to stumble upon Oasis dental after doing research for dentists in the local area. I do not have dental insurance and know that the cost of a simple cleaning can add up at some places. Since I started going twice a year in 2019, the staff has been wonderful. Reception is always friendly and accommodating; they will follow up if sooner appointments become available with cancellations (usually can schedule no more than 4 weeks out which is hard to come by), check in is quick and appointments run exactly on time. I absolutely love Kari, one of the dental hygienists. She's thorough, transparent, and welcoming. The cleanings and X-rays are very affordable out of pocket and it is an all around positive experience. read more

The perfect place to schedule a routine cleaning on your lunch break! It's super convenient to schedule an appointment via email. The waiting room is modern and pleasurable, although I didn't need to spend too much time in there. The receptionist and hygienist were SO friendly and informative! Interesting view of Mills Ave. from the dental chair. They gave me so many free samples. I must admit that I was, naturally, a bit skeptical based on all the positive reviews I saw here. But still, Oasis was recommended to me by my neighbor. When I originally used their online system, I did find that there were very few slots open and I needed to wait over a month before my appointment. However, I'm going to describe this as a huge plus for this practice - why? Simply, because it's pretty obvious Dr. G and all her staff run an absolutely fantastic practice! First, even though I needed to wait a while, they still contacted me when an earlier appointment opened up. It didn't work for me, but still I appreciate that they did their best to try to get me in as soon as possible. Despite the fact I had not seen a dentist in a few years (shame on me!), they were not judgmental in any way. Everyone there was really sweet and the conversations were comfortable. I has a similar experience to several other reviews in that while my previous dentist was monitoring a couple of my teeth for cavities, it appears I don't have any issues after all. Strange as it is -- I actually look forward to going to the dentist. Oasis takes all the fear and trepidation out of getting dental work done! From the moment you contact them, Dawn at the front is so kind, welcoming, and accommodating. My schedule (and finances) can be unpredictable, but they are always able to reschedule my appointments without any grief and I appreciate that so much! I needed a deep cleaning and my hygienist (I think her name was Stephanie?) was incredibly gentle and answered all of my questions. She kept commenting on how great I was doing, but it was really her skill that made what would otherwise probably be painful a breeze! Dr G. is very sweet and patient; I never felt judged for the shape a few of my teeth were in and I felt like they really wanted to help me. Love this place! Everyone from the front desk staff to the dentists and dental hygienists is friendly and professional. You really get the impression that they know their craft. On top of that, my hygienist remembered me and our conversation from the first time we met six months ago! I don't know if she had a cheat sheet or what, but it makes you feel special. This doctor wouldn't tell you to do root canal for the unnecessary needed , and she cares about patient . I went to three different dentists before I visited this place, they always want me to do the root canal for my teeth, and Dr.G told me just put the crown one will be better . I created a yelp account solely for writing this review. I have never felt so disrespected by a medical "professional" in my life. I left a previous review on another site with some complimenting attributes, but nothing good they did can make up for their unprofessionalism and questionable ethics. I have never left a review like this, but I have also never had any proof to back up poor customer service in the past. Now I do. This matters because this is not just a review based on a biased opinion, but rather a review based on FACTS that I have proof of. A few weeks ago I came in as a new patient to Oasis Dental. I was given an appointment to come back the next week to have some work done. Between appointments I went online and left a mixed review about my experience. Leaving both good and constructive feedback. When I went in for my appointment I the receptionist handed me a letter stating that they were "discontinuing my professional care" "effective immediately". They refused to treat me for my scheduled appointment and told me that it was because of the review I left online. This seems highly unethical and possibly even illegal for them to do. Bullying patients into leaving 5 star reviews? What are reviews for if not honest feedback that businesses can use to better their service? Instead of trying to make up for my poor experience, in which I would have happily amended my review, they chose to make the situation worse, and prove that their clients don't seem to be their number one priority. In a previous response to another patient's review online the office wrote "Dr. G will be happy to speak to you personally. Your satisfaction remains one of our top priorities". Why was my satisfaction not a top priority? I was embarrassed, as this all unfolded in front of patients in the waiting room because Oasis sent a letter only days before and I had not gotten it yet. I felt like my rights to voice my experience in online comments was punished. Imagine if everywhere you didn't leave a 5 star review from banned you as a customer? No one would ever leave truthful reviews and we'd all just have to put up with poor service everywhere we went. I highly recommend AGAINST coming to Oasis for your dental care. It seems to me that their online rating comes before their patient satisfaction. And God forbid you don't leave a 5 star rating, that may also try and bully you into leaving false reviews. read more

The staff here is amazing. A little back story on how I ended up at Dr. G's office: I found another downtown dentist through a daily deals site and decided to give him a go. When I went to his practice he complimented me on how gorgeous my teeth were and then continued to inform me that I had 5 or 6 cavities. I absolutely panicked as I didn't have dental insurance and the cost for said fillings was going to be over $1k. For MONTHS I tried to work out with his staff which insurance plans they accepted, etc. Finally got the insurance and was good to get them filled, only to find his staff had given me incorrect information and they didn't accept my plan. NIGHTMARE. I then went onto my insurance provider's website and looked for a dentist with an Indian sounding last name. Yes, I'm that person. Sue me. I came across Dr. G and did a quick google search and liked what I found. I scheduled an appointment to get these cavities sorted. My hygienist was Sarah who is an absolute doll and really comforted my fears during this time. Who gets six cavities in a year?! I was convinced I was going to lose all my teeth! She told me that my cleaning was impeccable and that my gums were some of the best she'd ever seen. Compliments at the dentist make me happy. Then Dr. G came to discuss my teeth & treatment plan... are you ready to hear the verdict? I DIDN'T HAVE ANY CAVITIES! NOT A SINGLE ONE. NOT A BABY ONE. NOTHING. The other dentist hadn't even take x-rays, only used this little tool that makes noise and had completely lied to me! I had his treatment plan in hand so that Dr. G could see where my "cavities" were and she said that absolutely I did not have these cavities. Insane. The fact that I came there prepared to pay for these fillings only to have her reassure me that my teeth were great as they were, really made me trust her. My boyfriend had a similar experience where he was told he had several cavities and I urged him to visit Dr. G-- same thing! He had only one baby cavity. The best part? When I recently went to Dr. G's office I was informed that I had a $50 referral credit! You can use that towards anything you'd like-- even insurance copay. AND my boyfriend got a $50 credit for being referred by me! Amazing staff, amazing customer service- seriously recommend this place to everyone. I've not experienced the other hygienists and honestly I have no desire to. Sarah is awesome, thorough, and makes it a great experience. read more

Like many other people, I am a procrastinator when it comes to visiting a dentists office because of how terrified I am of the experience. But when I visited oasis dental from the beginning I was comforted. I had 9 cavities to take care of, and dr. G. Was godsend. She was extremely patient, I never felt like embarrassed or uncomfortable even though she had to stop countless time so I can rest my jaw and breath comfortably. She and her staff were so patient with me. Not only did I get all cavities and crowns down at oasis, I also decided to get my invisalign there and what a great decision it was! It would not be fair to rate them lower for parking. My only concern here is parking and getting back on the 408. Service is always prompt and friendly. I believe that there is genuine concern for patients. Dawn at the front desk is always friendly and replies to emails quickly. Theresa was a little harder to warm up to BUT I did and she's great. This is really a great dental office.........nice and clean, pleasing decor, and the view from the office is absolutely captivating! The short wait time is well spent in a comfortable waiting area with a wide screen TV. Customer service is tops, both by phone and in person, and I was treated like family by the courteous and caring staff. They are skilled and professional in treating their patients. Most of all, my cleanings and treatment are pain free because they are so gentle. Dental visits have now become a pleasurable experience for me, thanks to Dr G and her staff. I have always had bad experiences going to a dentist. I was referred to Dr. G by my daughter. She assured me I was in good hands going to Oasis and seeing Dr G. I let the assistant Lorraine know how terrified I am of going to the dentist and past experiences I have had. Simply the best !! I am a big baby when it comes to ANYTHING inside a dentist's office and use to feel such anxiety whenever I had an approaching appointment. The staff at Oasis made me feel so comfortable. Oasis Dental is the best dental office I have ever been to. The office is always in pristine condition, always clean and they sterilize everything. Making an appointment is always easy and the reminder calls are helpful.The staff is amazing, they go above and beyond to ensure that you are happy. I hated going to the dentist until I met Dr. G. Dr. G is a very kind person, she has the most gentle hands and she is very honest. She walks you through the procedure and she is very receptive to knowing if you are scared or uncomfortable. I am mortified of injections and when she is numbing me, she talks me through the process to make me comfortable. I took my nephew to Oasis dental and he absolutely love it. I'm surprised to see the negative review below. I travel from Miami to Orlando just for Dr. G. Unfortunately, in today's day and age, it's very rare to find someone in the medical/dental field that you can trust and be assured they are giving you correct and honest advice and news. I have a dentist in Miami that I use for my routine work, but I travel to Dr. G for anything outside of the routine. I was extremely surprised the first time I visited. I wasn't sure if all Dentist offices up in Orlando share the same pleasantness as I experienced at Oasis, but I can see from the reviews that it's not just a Miami vs Orlando thing. I have never waited more than 5 mins for my appointment, and the staff have always been amazingly friendly. The equipment in the office is al new, and clean. I love that they are so open and make you feel comfortable to ask whatever questions you might have. Dr G has always gone above and beyond with her time with me, inside the office, and outside. I've had to call her for questions, etc, and she was always so patient in answering my questions and explaining everything. There is no way I would see anyone else if I lived in Orlando, or close by. read more

$360 for 10 mins. Plus another $60 for consult. I was told during the consult that two of my old fillings were chipping and needed to be replaced. But then when I went in for the procedure I was in the chair for only 10 mins. Did not numb me did not drill or remove the old filling. Just touched up a new filling ontop of the old and charged me $360 for 10 mins!! I was told before that you should NOT put a new filling ontop of the old one but this dentist did exactly that. If you care about your teeth and wish to receive quality dental care I would avoid!! $420 wasted now need to go to a good dentist to do it right!! read more

I have been seeing Dr. G for about 10 years, long before she had her own practice. When I learned of her opening up on her own there was never a second thought to follow along to her new location. She took my mouth from a destroyed mess (my own fault) and very literally "rejuvenated " my smile, to use their own slogan. I needed intense cleaning and 6 crowns, never once did I feel judged. Sure you have to wait about a month to get in, but in a place like Orlando, as busy as it is, I would run from an office that got me in right away. To me it says volumes for her and her staff that people are willing to wait, and it is worth the wait. They have a tv over every exam chair, and my kids love that! Vicki did an amazing job crafting my crowns, Sara is very informative, patient and gentle with cleaning sensitive teeth, dawn is always pleasant and I always get a reminder call for my appointments. There are not enough good things to say about Dr. G. she always takes time for each patient without making the next one wait forever and she always explains whats going on with my care, I never feel the need for second opinion. All of my appointments since i gained my new smile have resulted in less needed dental work and a higher self esteem, I cant tell you how much just being able to smile properly helps in a job interview or meeting new people. I never felt good about going to dentists and let years of dental issues get worse over fear of bad experiences and fear of judgement, now I go knowing what to expect and that all of my past dental experiences caused me to stop seeing a dentist needlessly, as I have found my perfect place. Thank you to Dr. G and all of her staff for giving me more than just a healthy mouth!
