I never witnessed a doctor fabricate a story of lies and document them in a legal medical record. I paid him 17,000 dollars for All on 4 procedure he refuses to complete because he was angry I saw another dentist I am now being told I don't have the bone to support my implants. One of the most traumatizing experiences I've ever had at a dentist office. .....I really I wish I was kidding when I said that The front desk is one of the worst group of people I have ever had the misfortune to be in the same room. They repeatedly lied multiple times in the course of a few minutes. Their talents would be put to far better use at MLM. In short they have NO business being in a dentist office. Wonderful first visit at Oasis Dental Spa! Highly recommend. As a military spouse, I have to find a new dentist every time we move. I've been fortunate to have had pleasant experiences in the past, but I have to comment on how wonderfully different Oasis Dental Spa is. It feels like a real spa. It's beautifully decorated and very clean. The dental chair is a semi-massage chair that gently massaged my upper back during my exam and cleaning. I've never experienced that. I was also treated to a face mask! Before the cleaning began, they put the Lamina Lift Mask on - again, something I've never experienced before. The staff is wonderful. Professional, friendly, informative, and they gave off a very calm and relaxed vibe too. Dr. Segovia is the only dentist I've had that was so present and involved during my appointment. She not only performed my exam, but conducted my cleaning as well. She was very thorough and attentive to my TMJ issues. She would pause so I could relax my jaw. Then, when she noticed my jaw tensing up again, she would encourage and remind me to relax my jaw. She was genuinely concerned about my comfort. I also appreciate how informative and educational she was in explaining and recommending what I need to address my cosmetic and dental health concerns. I recently went in to Oasis Dental Spa to get a second opinion on a tooth that needed some work because of an old cavity. I had a huge hidden cavity that Dr. Segovia fixed completely painlessly! I have gotten my mouth numbed several times before and I could not believe how painless the anesthesia was this time. She made sure I was completely comfortable the entire time she was working on me and so far, the results are great. Even though I live in Scottsdale, I will go to Dr. Segovia from now on because of my wonderful experience. I love this place!!!! From the first phone call, I felt very comfortable talking to the staff. They took their time and answered all my questions. My first visit was amazing!! I was greeted when I walked in, the atmosphere was relaxing and helped a lot with the anxiety. When I got into the room and sat in the chair, I noticed it was moving and was very relaxing. Dr. Segovia was very friendly and discussed everything she was doing. I was also offered a face mask, it was so nice and very calming. After the exam, I was told what my cost would be and the different options for payments. The ladies were super friendly and knowledgeable about all options. My second visit was just as great! I went in for a cleaning, the X-rays were pain free and so was the cleaning- to the point that I didn't realize she was almost done, and I was stressing about it hurting since my experience with my old dentist wasn't the best. From the moment you walk in you're greeted by fine art, tapestry and high-back upholstered chairs, a welcoming desk clerk. -- and quiet. This place is sooo relaxing. Once you're escorted to one of the patient portals you're asked to lay back in a full-length, custom leather recliner -- with massage! I kid you not. Dr. Segovia projects calm and professionalism, so you know you're in good hands. And steady ones. I had six fillings done there and not once did I feel the steely prick of the novocaine needle in my gums. But, just in case, her assistant calmly rubs your shoulder during the procedure. Oasis Dental Spa is the best dental office I have ever been! Dr. Segovia and her Staff make you feel welcome and treat you like your getting treated in a 5 star hotel. I've gotten my teeth cleaned and I'm not the easiest to accommodate, mainly because I have a fear of the dentist. But Dr. Segovia goes beyond that, she treats her patients really well and ensures that the procedure will be as smooth as possible! The office is beautiful and very relaxing. From the instant you walk in the staff are friendly and welcoming.

The entire experience was great, the only downside is they need more than one iPad for new patient sign-ins. (this is a minor inconvenience) The office is very comfortable, more of a spa than a typical dentist office. New patient April 2019.appt at 4pm. Didnt leave there until 7pm cuz they were short handed. I was fine with it. Stuff happens, right? Then they said sending estimate for work plan to insurance. A month later I called to ask status. They said they didnt get it yet....no one had even followed up on it. Called again a month later. Still nothing, yet my insurance told me they sent it twice already. FINALLY got in 3 months after my appt for cleaning which ins co said they did not even need authorization for. Then they bill me more later. And on the bill they write on about how they will charge $10 late fee if not paid. Then, on the day of my follow up appt I came down with the flu. Called them to advise I was throwing up and couldn't come in. They charged me 2 $25 fees for missed appointments. I only had 1 appt!! I paid the $50 and am done with them. Remember when I was there for 3 hours for my first appointment? Stuff happens...they didnt give me a $50 credit because they missed MY 4 PM appt!! I wish I had gone to my appointment and given them all the flu and thrown up everywhere. Would have saved $50. AND, to be sure u don't forget your appointment they start reminding u like 10 days before...email, text, confirm,confirm, confirm! I am not a child and confirming my appointment 4 times did not stop the flu. So, I will be moving on to find a good dentist. I went to Smile Fitness for about 25 years..love them..but they don't take my new ins. So off into the Sunset I go, in search of a good dentist with competent employees. Update. I was told by you and your employees that my insurance was contacted and the quotes i recieved were legitimate. Three times I asked you to check to be sure. I'm on a very fixed income I just wanted to know the truth. My insurance even has told me that there was no attempt from your office to contact them on my behalf. Yes I agreed to your billing policies but you failed to adhere to what your practice says they offer patients. So again I'm left with feeling taken advantage of by yet another greedy doctor. Dr. Segovia is a wonderful dentist . She is very good with explaining everything throughly she doesn't hesitate to answer a question . She is not about selling like other practices she is about telling you what's best for your mouth and letting you decide what you want to do .
