Very comfortable little inn. Close to Costco. Booked late in day because the pass was closed to Reno. Chose for price which was $40 cheaper than other places in area but they have a 7.8 rating and we needed gas at Costco. Room is small but everything you need. Microwave, fridge, ice, comfy bed, clean bathroom, good shower, lots of hot water. Heater/air conditioner noisy but work well. We had end unit so it was nice to have only one neighbor. One level so no one above. Busy street is close but had a good night's rest. Traffic started around 5 am. Office people informative.

The Oasis Inn is AAA approved and very inexpensive. The rooms though small are very clean, and homey. They offer continental breakfast.

The sheets plus the blanket everything has holes in it all the money they asked for they should buy a new stuff

Beautiful place, inside and out. Price cannot be beat for quality provided. The central fountain with its lights at night is lovely.

The real attraction isn't the soaring lobby or the excellent cocktails--it's the people behind the bar. Steven, Jules, Jenna, Shanna Marie, Samantha, and the legendary Hilton have mastered the rare art of making everyone feel like a regular, whether it's your first visit or your hundredth. They're quick with a recommendation, quicker with a smile, and somehow keep the place running with the relaxed confidence of people who genuinely enjoy what they do. And yes... Hilton works at the Hyatt. That's worth at least one extra star all by itself. If you see a guy named Hilton working at the Hyatt, take the photo. The universe doesn't hand you jokes that good very often. As for the negative reviews? Some people complain it's expensive. Well... you're sitting across from the California State Capitol in one of Sacramento's flagship hotels. If you're expecting gas station prices, I also have some beachfront property in Nebraska to sell you. Others say it's "too classy." That's just another way of admitting they accidentally started acting civilized. Whether you're celebrating something important, hiding from the summer heat, meeting friends, or simply people-watching in one of Sacramento's best lobbies, this place delivers. The drinks are excellent, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff remind you that hospitality isn't about serving cocktails--it's about making people feel like they belong. Five stars. And one bonus star for Hilton... just for showing up to work with the funniest name badge in Sacramento.

Most if not all hotels offer some packages that make a stay more comfortable and enjoyable. One associate offered free complimentary parking, small daily allowance and also a 2 pm late check out while other associates said that you never offer those. I understand that things can possibly change per associate but to say they are never offer something is odd. Not to mention on top of all miss leading information they kept referring to my partner as my wife when I already said it's for my partner ( he). It's very insensitive, unprofessional and presumptuous to just assume our partners orientation by just our voices (this happened multiple times to the point I had to correct)! I didn't receive any warmth or personable connection with the associates to feel like I'm being welcomed to make a reservation. They were very cold and robotic like I'm being sold a car. Talking to someone to book a stay at a Beautiful hotel like Hyatt Regency should be welcoming, like home away from home. So far with my experience just with the phone conversations is persuading me to look elsewhere. I expected better from Hyatt.

The atrium was fun for the kids to see their friends and the breakfast was wonderful! The hardest part for me was waking up to a pretty serious water leak above my bed dripping consistently on the pillow next to me. I immediately called the front desk and the person I spoke with didn't seem concerned at all and said the engineer wasn't in until 7am. My daughter was sleeping soundly, but having a steady flow of water dripping on my bed meant I was up at 4:45am with a third full day of education ahead of me. Literally nothing was done to improve the situation and I just hope and pray the leak was fixed before they put anyone else in the room. This is a gorgeous and up-scale hotel with lovely amenities. Parking was very easy. You have the option to valet or self-park in the underground garage. The elevator from the garage leads you directly into the beautiful, modern, and clean lobby. There is an abundance of lounge seating available and a very nice coffee/hot cocoa bar. In the coffee bar, there were syrups and toppings available for use which made it feel much more luxurious. The room was great too. We booked the Premium King Room with the Golden One Center view. The room was spacious and clean. It did not feel cramped or crowded. The bed was comfortable and was furnished with many pillows. The hotel offers almost any bathroom amenities that you can think of if you forgot them. The mini bar is fully loaded, but pricey as expected. I was unfortunately disappointed with the view though. We were placed on the sixth floor and could hardly see the Golden One Center. The window overlooked just the roof of the stadium. We could not see the plaza, city, or much of the stadium at all. If you crane your neck to the sides, you can barely see the Tower Bridge and the State Capitol. We also had some trouble with the AC in the room. It was working early in the night, but despite being set to 65, the heater seemed to have kicked on. It got very hot in the room, and then got very cold on its own even later. Despite this, I would definitely stay at the Kimpton Sawyer Hotel again, just without paying extra for a "view."

The tall ceilings and quiet rooms--thanks to excellent insulation--made the stay very comfortable. I also liked the different water options available near the front desk, especially since the bottled water in the rooms cost $10 each. The music in the pool area created a great atmosphere, and the jacuzzi was a nice size and very enjoyable. However, the main issue was the mandatory valet fee--even when not using valet service. This makes no sense and feels unreasonable. If arriving by Uber or not bringing a car, there is no justification for being charged valet. The website does not clearly state that valet is mandatory, and there was no prior notice when booking. At check-in, staff simply said, "We have to charge it anyway," regardless of whether the service was used. The fee is also quite high at $52 per night, which adds up quickly for a service not utilized. According to previous reviews, valet fees have increased significantly over the past three years. I would not stay at this Westin Hotels & Resorts location again. The accumulation of mandatory fees makes the experience feel transactional rather than guest-focused. I would much rather voluntarily tip valet staff when I actually use and appreciate their service, rather than be required to pay a substantial fee regardless of need. Overall, while the hotel has many appealing qualities, the mandatory valet charge without clear disclosure or usage was a major drawback.
