My whole family goes to LA Nails. The whole staff is so welcoming and kind. The nail salon is also very clean. I've been seeing Avery for 6 years now. She is so sweet and does AMAZING work. Even though I have been getting my nails done consistently for the last 12 years, they were always brittle, weak + would often break. However, after a few months of seeing Avery, my nails were stronger than I could ever remember. She is so talented and fast! My nails are always the perfect shape & never look "thick". Even though I've moved from Sterling Heights, I still travel 25 mins to see her -- she's that good! read more

Service was rushed and not a job well done. I have been getting manis and pedis for many years and this overall experience was not good on my first and last time there. She skipped many steps and did the bare minimum. Nail station was gritty. Towel she finally put down looked dirty. She didn't have me wash hands after mani or collect money before polishing or take any consideration in drying. No fan was offered to aid in drying. The whole experience was amateurish and I'm out $73 with tip and 3 nails dented. Had an awful experience with nail tech, Lulu. She was rude and very critical of what I had done to touch up my nails. Felt as if she was chastising me for a touch-up I had done to prolong my pedicure. Have never been treated by a professional like this in all my years of pedicures. She seemed offended when I didn't remember when/where she was going on vacation and developed an attitude the duration of my time in her chair. Would never recommend this tech. Not a fan. I don't see why so many people love this place. Maybe they are only nice to you if you are a regular. I have been here 3 times for pedicures, so I feel as if I truly gave them a shot. 2 out of the 3 times I had the same nail tech. She was very rude. I explained I have a latex allergy and politely asked if she could wear the non-latex gloves they have, she rolled her eyes and just became very annoyed. Then she was on the phone (ear piece) the entire time and basically ignored me the rest of the time. From the time I sat in the pedicure chair to the time she was done was 19 minutes. As I am sure you can imagine, you arent getting a solid, relaxing, beautiful pedicure in 19 minutes. That is basically just a polish change. No wonder my toes were chipped 3 days later. It seems like they just try to get as many people in and out as quickly as possible here. The focus isn't on quality or customer service. I will not be back. read more

Had my nails done by Lulu and went through so much struggle to get my two nails repaired that broke the NEXT day (both of them). I never was able to get them fixed even though I went into the salon on two separate occasions and waited for over an hour. It got to a point where they were ignoring me and not answering me when I asked how long it would be until they could take 20 minutes to fix my two nails. Mind you, they told me prior that after her client was finishing up she could do the repair. Then she kept taking new clients in front of me They don't take appointments for nail repairs because they don't make any money off you. And through all this, I had to deal with the girls attitudes and them talking to me like I'm from a different planet. Would not recommend read more

I've been coming here for years, and last month I noticed three of my toenails had black growing and my pinkie had black at the base. I went in and showed Q, and he said I must have dropped something on my foot. Uhmmm no I didn't. I told him I was going to go buy some anti-fungal liquid but he told me it wasn't necessary. DON'T GO THERE ( check out the pictures) Hey I definitely don't recommend this place at all. I went in wanting a fill in and the Hailey Bieber nails. I got an appointment with one of my the younger girls. I went in on time she sat me in the chair. Cleaned my cuticles very fast then started doing my nail. 1) burned me with the electric fiber 9 times. 2) I told her one coat of funny bunny she put 2 even tho I said no 3) she put so much chrome even tho I told her just a little 4) the nails were crooked I could have filled them better no offense 5) she was using a tool to put the chrome on then the lady came told her that her next appt is here. She threw the tool on the table and started using her finger 7) my bed nails had chrome all over them looked nasty. Lastly, I call the manger for to fix it. He was so rude like who dare me ask him to fix it. He goes like she'll fix it. I said she didn't know how from the beginning how's she going to fix. He kept screaming telling me no one is going to touch your nails but me and weird shit like that. I have pictures of what I asked for... what I got.... Won't be back. The last few times the service was horrible. I will admit that I was a few minutes late . They called and I told them I'm almost there. The nail texh took someone else. Once I got there they had me soak my nails off then they tell me that I would have to come back in 3 hours because no one was available until then. I would have gladly came back in 3 hours and soaked my nails off then. But now I don't have anything on my nails and I'm never going back there. read more

I have been going to LA for years and the last few times the service has just been going down hill but this last visit was my final straw. I had Hannah do a pedicure and dip, the dip I left the salon with was beyond horrible for the price I paid. The sides of my nails have zero dip, they were ridged and basically lifting before I even left the salon. My nails over all are very uneven & lumpy, not all of my nails have dip to the cuticles, and the rounded edges of my nails are super uneven and rigid. When she asked how I liked them I told her I was very unhappy. She blamed it on my dislike on the green color I had selected for my toes that I had made a comment on when she asked that comment was "not the shade it looked in the bottle" ( this was not wrong but was not even close to the reason I was disappointed in my finger nails). I proceeded to tell her how nothing was even on the sides of most of my na, her solution was to have me pay the already $90 bill, then pay to remove the dip, to then pay for a dip all over again. She then offered to change the color of my toes for the color change fee which sent me over the edge. Absolutely disappointing for a loyal customer, this was the last time I will be supporting LA nails. read more

First visit to LA Nails after reading some very good reviews. I just got a pedicure, since I do my own manicures. I had an 11:30 appointment but wasn't seen until 11:50 or so, but that was ok. It was really busy in there, being the July 4th weekend. Basic Pedi, so the normal: soak, buff, massage, polish. Large selection of polish. All tools came out of autoclave bags, so nicely sanitized. Very clean place. Gave 4 stars, due to massage chairs being on the older side & not all functions worked. But I will definitely be back! read more

Horrible quality with their dip nails, and the woman doing my nails set off the vibe by not saying a word the WHOLE time until it was time to pay! I tried this place after going to Luxe Nails a few months ago for my homecoming. I got a tip added to my nails, as well as dip. In only eight days, one of my nails broke, the next day (Today- Jan 23, 25), two more broke, and one chipped. This was so sad for me, because with my last pair of nails that I got, I was playing volleyball and they stayed on for two months. When the first one broke, I thought it was because of my dog, after the other three, I knew. When the first one broke, I believed it was just bad luck and glued it back on. The second one that broke hurt so bad, worse than when I broke one during volleyball that ripped off the top of my nail I regret my decision of going to LA nails. I absolutely do not recommend getting the same service done there. The only reason I downloaded Yelp, was to write this review. Very disheartening. read more

Sure the nails were alright. But I think the issue is that they are WAYYYYY to over priced! I just got my nails done elsewhere and needed a new shellac paint so at most with removal and French I thought 30$ was reasonable. Everywhere charges 15$ for shellac 5$ and like 10$ for French. They charged me a whopping 64$!!!!!! For just a shellac polish change!!! Like this was crazy!!! As I was checking out I thought I heard her wrong and she repeated it again.. I made an appointment for a pedi and dip. I had to work and was stuck in traffic, so I called to cancel the pedi, on my way there, stating that i didn't think I could make the pedi appt but def on my way for my dip appt. The receptionist stated that because I didn't call 2 hrs in advance to cancel my pedi, that i would be charged a 30.00 cancellation fee. I explained that I would reschedule the pedi, and that I was a very long standing client. None of that mattered to them. I am certain that they were able to fill my appt,when i have tried to get a walk in pedi I am always told, that they are booked, to make an appt. I explained that the customary cancellation fee is no more than 50% of the charged service. That 30.00 dollar charge is gouging the customers, and that they have no respect for their customers, ESP the long standing customers. They need to review their cancellation policy and take a lesson on customer service. There are many nail salons . Treat the customer with more dignity and respect. Without customers they WOULDNT have a business. read more

You might wait a minute if you walk in for the first time, but make an appointment with someone specific and you're good to go. The prices are on par with other salons in the area, too.
