I had an hour long massage with Courtney and cannot recommend her enough! I have a chronic neck and shoulder issue that gets flared up from time to time. I woke up in so much pain and could barely move my neck. Courtney was able to get all of the tension out with a blend of deep tissue and really therapy technic. I feel i have a second chance at life lol! The massage was also very balanced and relaxing as she would work on different areas to give my neck a break and then return to my neck to get the monster out. I'm so grateful! Can't recommend Oasis and its team of professionals enough! Most recently, I had acupuncture and cupping for the first time for some chronic muscle soreness. Toni, the co-owner was amazing. She is truly compassionate and got to the bottom of my symptoms. The therapy itself was comfortable and truly healing. I left feeling like I got a new back! And a few days later I feel no symptoms whatsoever, even though I've been battling with a constant soreness and pain for years. I'm thankful and looking forward to follow up sessions. I've also had massages with the other co-owner, Stephanie. She's a magician with her hands and truly cares about her clients. Also, I've had the Harisienne facial with Maria. What an amazing and unique treatment. There's only one other practitioner, from my understanding, in all of the LA are who was trained in the technique. It's truly transforming. Not only does it feel amazing, but you can really see and feel the difference even after one session. Non-invasive yet technique sensitive and effective! Just love that the energy that radiates from the whole place exudes care and personal attention. It's not a pretentious spa experience like so many other places in West LA. I came in for an appointment in January with moderate acne. A few pimples here and there. I was prescribed a blend of propriety herbs that were meant to remove excess heat. As I'm highly sensitive to any medication including herbs I started on 1/20th of the normal adult dosage. Within days I was broken out in cysts, postules and nodules - breakouts unlike any I've ever had in the past. I emailed Oasis to ask if there was anything that they could do. It was suggested that I continue with the herbs and that there was nothing they could do. I expected that at least Oasis would offer a facial or some sort of remedy for my skin. It was so bad that I cancelled plans for two weeks. Now, months later, I have severe scarring and am spending hundreds of thousands of dollars on expensive treatments to undue the damage. I would not recommend to anyone as the results are unpredictable and extremely damaging to the skin and self-esteem. read more

Quiet & cozy little spa. It's beautiful inside. Each massage room is small and completely quiet. Convenient location because it's right next to a small row of mom & pop shops that i often use, (Paws & Claws, tiny grocery/liquor store, hair salon). My mom and I usually prefer strong & soothing swedish-style bodywork....and they have satisfied our needs. (I've only tried a couple of their therapists so far). The biggest plus is that we no longer have to trek to santa monica or venice when our bodies ache. They are open fairly late on some nights....which is good for me because i work late. So far, i have had their swedish, deep-tisssue, and thai massage. My mom has had their reflexololgy. All were excellent. We are both hooked. We would go several times a week if we had the time...and if $ were no object. I wish i had the motivation to go to that beautiful yoga place near Via De La Paz.......or to the ymca gym...but i just don't have the energy at the end of a brutal day in the office. So i instead opt to pay a nurturing therapist to squeeze the aches and stress out of my body. I recommend Tang or Kristina.....they are both strong. Tang does thai bodywork, and Kristina does Hungarian-style Swedish and deep-tissue. I love massage because it's an extremely healthy addiction, and it's ZERO calories, and it helps me sleep so deeply. Much better than going to a restaurant and over-indulging in food and wine. read more

Professional, easy to make an appointment serene little spa. I got a sweedish-deep tissue combo which was perfect, I had a stiff neck and the therapist was able to alleviate the stiffness. Oasis is definitely off the beaten path-- it's tucked away in Pacific Palisades and is pretty much a local spot. Nothing fancy but down to earth and comfortable, I enjoy coming here for massages even though it's not exactly close to where I live. Everyone is super friendly (Pacific Palisades can be really snotty when it wants to be) and I think they have a good energy and approach to healing. I had been hearing about this new process called Harisienne method of facial rejuvenation that is popular in Asia. It was really hard to find a specialist that can do this incredible method of facial exercise in LA. But I found a place in my own backyard! There is only a handful of esthetician that are fully trained and I found the best one. Her name is Maria and she works at Oasis Palisades. I wanted help with some of my trouble spots like saggy cheeks, wrinkles and refreshing my skin tone to make it glow and look healthy without going the botox route. I'm not a huge fan of chemicals in my body and wanted to do this as organic as possible. Maria explained the steps and then concentrated in blissful silence on her work. She used a light but firm touch with her small tools to work the lymphatic fat out of my face. Maria increased pore circulation and some of those blasted age spots and acne spots visually disappeared once oxygen was allowed into the pores. It was a 70-minute facial massage that worked wonders for my tired face and skin. I was sad when it was done because the difference was amazing to see in the mirror. I'm not sure where my wrinkles and creases went but what an natural way to work them out! I will definitely go back to Maria for her knowledge and care she took with my face and asking all the right questions about my skincare regime (or lack of!). She was NOT pushy in the least to market her favorite brands on me. She handed me samples and told me to try it out. I actually appreciated that and will be back to purchase some face creams from her because my face looks and feels delicious. It's kind of hidden, but as soon as I walk through the door I feel relaxed. It's beautiful, smells great, and the vibe is just perfect. I have been back several times since and each time the massages are excellent.
