I never even moved in and the experience was terrible. I placed a $100 deposit and went through the whole application process because their lessing agent John told me I would have up to 8 days from the move-in date to actually move in. I was under the impression that the deposit was refundable if I decided not to proceed with move-in. They approved me Jul 7 for an Aug 1 move-in and on Jul 8 Ronald was calling me telling me I had to pay the deposit ASAP. I told him I wanted to see the apartment before I paid them anything. Mind you, their display apartment is 2bd and I was interested in a 3bd. Either way, who wouldn't want to see the apartment they will be renting before making any payments? When I made that point Ronald said it wouldnt be possible and that that's how they did things to help the "flow of the office". They wanted to lock me into something sight unseen. But turned out to be a blessing in disguise as I found a property in a safer area for a similar price where I was approved for making 3x the rent so... idk why townhomes said I do not. There was a lot of trash flying around and the trash cans were not kept well. These units do come with a detached garage which is nice. Main pool has been closed for renovation for some time I've heard, but their sauna finally works. There were a few dead roaches in the empty unit i viewed but I was told that's normal? There is also a registered offender who lives at this complex that recently violated probation terms that staff were unaware of (check Meghan's law). The staff overall are lovely, it appears management IS THE PROBLEM. No compassion, even for veterans/their surviving families. read more

I have lived at this place for 8 years now. management is horrible and never help with anything. They are quick to get people in contract but once you live here, they are no help and in fact extremely rude. the place is filled with trash and dog poop. They have no sympathy for anybody. I parked my car right outside of my assigned garage for simply 15 minutes to unload and load groceries and heavy things that were in the backseat of my car within that time security had tagged and towed my car. Instead of showing some type of concern or sympathy, they would rather stand on a policy that they've never really enforced until now. They allow other tenants to park parallel to their garages with no consequences but the one time I do it late at night I get penalized. I wasn't charged $660 dollars and wasn't asking for a full refund just maybe a partial credit towards next months rent. They smiles and tried sounding all sweet but could care less about any concerns you bring to them. The male manager entered the conversation very hostile from the start. Instead of going after people breaking into cars, they would rather go after tenants that are trying to unload and load their cars. My car was broken into twice, and the neighbors has also had their cars broken In the back lot that they forced everyone to park regardless of how far your apartment is from the actual back parking lot because there's only one. Someone even managed to set a car on fire and it blew up in the back parking lot but yet they want us to park there. We deal with bad kids that steal packages, bang on doors and destroy peoples property. Dog poop everywhere, rent increases every year but no changes will be made to the complex. I lived here for years and thought maybe they would atleast hear me out but no. They shut me up and pointed straight to the exit because to them $660 is chump change. Don't say I don't warn you ahead of time. And whatever they comment under my review is them just trying to save face. If you don't believe me then move here and tell me if I was wrong or not. I'm simply trying to save the headache because it isn't worth living somewhere with constant homeless people jumping the fence and causing havoc in the complex. This place would be 1 star but I'm giving it 2 stars because at least the maintenance people come by to take care of things when needed, but other wise this was not a good experience. First off, the tenants here are just full of rude people who don't discipline their loud children. The walls are extremely thin so you can hear everything, and if your neighbors are bad, well good luck. You can literally hear children jumping and running as loud as they can and screaming basically all day long. There's also a lot of seemingly shady people living here. I've seen cops come and arrest people. If you want peace, do NOT live here. You can barely do work here because it's so loud. Trust me. There might as well not be a wall separating the townhomes because you can hear everything. Also, we have complained about children jumping into our patio and blocking entrance into our apartment, but they still continue to do it. I don't know if the staff did anything about that. Second of all, parking is terrible. There's 1 tiny garage but each unit is meant for 2 people so we need 2 cars. One person has to park outside and if you come back around 9 pm or later you might not find parking. My housemate and I ended up breaking our lease because the noise and disturbances got so bad. Oasis is surrounded by beautiful nature, lots of trees and green grass; the office and maintenance team have always been respectful and helpful, and my pets love it here. This is by far the worst place I've ever lived. I've only lived her since November and already both of our cars have been robbed. One of the cars was literally in the provided garage. When brought up with management they basically said we never assured your safety and I'm sorry you feel that way. That's already enough to prove this place is horrible, that's not even mentioning the "security". I work at night so often have to walk from outside of the complex because the parking situation in these apartments is crazy. While walking to my apartment the security guard is trying to flirt with me, making me feel uncomfortable and completely unsafe. Meanwhile our garage is getting vandalized and our cars broken into. If you like the smell of second-hand marijuana smoke, horrific parking that makes you not want to leave after 6pm, and to deal with the horrible VA employees/patients, then this is the place for you. Did I mention they locked down Tennis because playing a sport 40 feet away from your opponent is too close for COVID, but Basketball is fine. We paid a premium for the "amenities" here and they took them all away under the guise of COVID even though swimming and Tennis can easily be socially distant activities. First, the staff is great and helpful. They almost always get service done within a few days and things like the AC same day. The bugs are real but all you need to do is call the office and get on the bug person's list to have the perimeter sprayed so often. We saw tons of roaches outside but after finding a few inside we had them spray every month and none since. Parking is absolutely horrendous. When we first moved in this wasn't an issue, but slowly over time junk grass broken down cars made their way to our part of the place. We call and call yet they don't get removed. These things have dirty wind shields, spider webs like a haunted mansion, and flat tires, yet they take up our precious spots. I have to park in the middle of the complex because there isn't any spots anywhere near our home after 6pm. It sucks and they should really give each house a reserved space in addition to the single garage space they have. That would completely solve our problem. Instead we get home from vacation and have to park blocking garages to unload our car and then find parking and walk back. Not exactly coming home to relax. The drug use is absolutely ridiculous. During Summer we didn't care because our windows were closed and the AC was running. Now that cooler temperatures allow us to get fresh air we can't because our neighbors sit on their porch every night and light up. Coughing, wheezing, and making any room with an open window and fan smell awful. We have family that moved in on the opposite side than us and they have the same problem, and I constantly smell it walking around the complex. This place is very expensive, has drug problems, has VA jackoffs reving their harley davidsons at midnight, blaring their air horns, smoking next to homes, taking parking spots, and can't figure out their parking spots. For the first 6 months we loved it here, until we got pot-head neighbors, lost all reasonable parking, and lost all our things to do. BTW, our wonderful neighbors have three or more dogs that constantly fight. They have 4 adults and several children living in a 2 room home. Class acts are always yelling, banging, slamming doors. I thought an $1800 a month townhome would be prohibitive to people so lacking in any courtesy, but look around and that's what this place is. It's full of trashy people that don't give 2 shits about others. Convenient location for hospital employees, friendly staff, all outweighed by bad management. Stacey Fernandez is the current complex manager. The staff had previously been very helpful, replacing our stove when it was having some technical difficulties. Also the maintenance staff was very responsive to issues that arose during our stay. The complex recently has suffered the loss of many tenants and I suspect it is related to their management. If the management changes, please disregard this review. I attempted to return my apt keys on move out day but they were closed due to COVID. The keys and garage remote don't fit in the dropbox, so I was charged for returning the keys the following morning. Stacey Fernandez was totally unreasonable with our request to reconsider this circumstance, saying it was only "fair". We gave every opportunity to rectify the disagreement before posting this review, as we prefer not to post negative reviews if possible. read more

Pros: Location/vicinity Cons: Management, price, security and parking I have recommended colleagues to not rent here unless the most you do not have a car and need a complex to live in close to work. Since after living here for a year, I've decided that commuting from Orange County is better than living at this location. I bet most people work at the nearby hospital or VA and/or are university students and I would say to venture out further to find a place to live. Management is super unhelpful and unfriendly, if you're able to reach them. At first, I thought it was good since they quickly changed my air filter after my initial move in inspection but then they won't answer the phone when trying to discuss with them their online payment system or anything else. I chose this place since it is close to where I work but pretty much there are other complexes that are close to or better in price that might be worth the drive (less than 10 minutes more) and branch out to Redlands. Price is high for what you get and location since I use to live in LA and paid less for the same size townhouse with the garage attached. I find that crazy since people say the Inland Empire is cheaper than LA. Unit itself was nice and comfortable. Parking is insanely hard to find after 5pm, which of course coincides with all the people getting off work. The assigned parking garage space is pretty small and tight. Of course they are close to your apartment...not. Therefore if you want to be close to your apartment you have to park in an open spot. Why would you want to be close to your apartment? Well since security at Oasis Townhomes sucks. The gate is rarely closed only in the past few months (since March 2019) has it stayed consistently closed but otherwise it was just wide open for anyone to drive in or walk into. There were random people just wandering around at night (who do not appear to be residents) where I had to buy pepper spray and a Swiss Army knife to feel safe. I wish I could say I felt good about the money I spent to live here but sadly that is not the case. read more

Maintenance people are prompt and helpful. At Christmas, it is nice that they have Santa come to the office, & sometimes there's stuff like popsicles at the office. Pay both pent rent and a pet deposit. We've been here for many years so we hear from our old neighbors, even ones with spotless apartments- Nobody gets any kind of deposits back, so you need to budget that in. If you want to pay on the app, there is a service fee and you can only access the payment options on the 1st of the month after the office opens. You cannot log on early and pay/schedule a payment. So if you'll be on vacation/without internet on the 1st, you'll need to make sure you have some checks on hand to drop off. Landscaping has been atrocious since around late 2020. The latest company randomly wanders with leaf blowers 2x a week so you wash your car, it stays nice for a couple days till they blow dirt on it. Bikes stolen from patio. A bunch of neighbors are having things stolen by their entry way- shoes, plants, kids stuff. There are Ring videos, but nothing we can do. The recently downgraded to artificial turf by the front doors and it is embarrassing. I need some lawn flamingos since apparently I'm in a retirement trailer park. Tiniest kitchen- SO frustrating. 4 Ity bity drawers.Only usable counter space is over the dishwasher (which is from the 70s, has burned and melted spots inside of it, but they won't replace it). I could probably put up with a lot of the other frustrations if the kitchen wasn't so obnoxious. There is now "valet trash"- the person who picks up is very nice. The annoying part is that you have to have this ugly trash can by your door. You can put it inside your house or in your garage, but you can't say no thank you or give it back. Same with their fridges. We already had a very nice fridge and they wouldn't take theirs away, so it sits in the garage waiting for when we can move out, which is hard to do when they crank your payments so high. Isn't it crazy how "there's nothing we can do" about hiking rent, yet they're only raising it because they can. There is a serious lack of parking. If you don't get a spot by 4:45pm on a week day, you'll park a little further away. If you're after 6 or 7pm, you'll park on Prospect, or if that is full, over by Clark's. There isn't much that can be done about that, it's just very frustrating. Your rent will likely be raised 10% every year. High turnover. Likely because people can't keep up with costs and the renewal options are crap. Any other apartment I was in, when you renew you have options like 4 months, 6 months, 10 months, year, stuff like that. Usually a little incentive to sign on. Then you also can get a perk like some of your deposit back each year or have an accent walk painted. Not here. They jack the rates up and shrug at you. I get that the owners make the rules and would like to make money, that's the whole reason they own the property. It just stinks. read more

I was going to start this review like a commercial. "Oasis Townhouses. Nestled in the beautiful city of Loma Linda. Where beauty and sincerity meets" lol. But I don't work for them, I just live here so you are going to get my honest opinion. I moved my family from San Bernardino to Loma Linda because of the school district. My daughter has ADHD and needs a little bit more help when it comes to school and I didn't feel that the San Bernardino School district was taking care of her needs. We read up about Bryn Mar Middle school and decided to move Loma Linda so that she can get the attention she needs. (After her first year the City of Loma Linda decide to "redistrict *wink wink the area and gave us a map of what area for phase 1 is being moved to the new school Mission Middle school. Guess which area was in all of phase 1? Only Oasis Townhouse apartment... and the area behind it. Guess what is behind it... a baseball field. hmmmm.....) We were looking for a 3 bedroom apartment (not easy), and was trying to avoid paying super premium pricing. Actually at the time we only found two places that even had 3 bedrooms available, and Oasis Townhouses was a little bit better in price. When we did our tour we were impressed. It appeared to be a nice neighborhood, the people that lived there seemed to be pleasant and friendly. The floor plan was another plus and we were pretty much sold. *There has to be a catch* We were told that the 3 bedroom that is available is in the very back of the complex, this wouldn't be a problem except for the fact that as soon as we got back there a large train passed by. We asked how often does the train pass through here. Answer: Maybe once or twice a day. Now if you live here you already know how much BS that answer was. We didn't know how bad until we signed the lease and spent our first night in the apartment. Once or twice a day? Lets try 2 to 4 times intervals 3 to 5 times day or night. The train is not only loud, it shakes the apartment, and sometimes I guess the conductor likes to be an ass and rides the brakes for 5 to 10 minutes so that you hear this long screeching sound even though it doesn't appear like the train is trying to stop. Edit: And recently started blowing the horn even though it goes under a street not on it. Like your sleep to be interrupted each night? Then make the mistake of getting an apartment in the back of the complex. You have your own personal train alarm clock to wake you up twice (if you are lucky) a night. The moral to the story? Stay closer to the front and don't take an apartment around back. We told them later about how we were told incorrect information about how often the train runs and they pretended to be shocked that we were told that. Whatever. The apartment is ok though. Nice pool, they keep it clean. A weight room, small but good for cardio. They need some free weights in there, or at least fix the 4 in 1 machine that they have. We have lived here for 3 years and I am starting to get used to the train to the point that I can sleep through it at night now. My wife still can't and she can't wait until we find a house in the area. (Easier said then done) If it wasn't for the neighborhood being so nice, they would have received 2 stars for the lie. Unfortunately when we moved in it was very dirty; old q-tips, small screws tolost in the carpet, hair, clogged drains, etc. We have a baby and when I found the nails and q-tips I was livid. When we told the office they didn't even apologize! Also- if you have a babe keep in mind there is very noisy leaf blowing and it takes them forever and a day, also the townhomes A/c is very old and loud and doesn't circulate well so our son's room is always hot. If we turn the air on, the downstairs is freezing and the upstairs is heated? Also- something breaks or needs maintenance at least every 2 weeks. I really recommend to look at other apartments until this one shapes up. They are doing some remodeling, Stacey the manager is nice, the jacuzzi is nice and clean, storage space and parking is great. read more

Mazda Mixx well I have been here for over 3 years nice place and great people. The rent has gone up es each year so that wasn't something we anticipated. Maintenance people are great, at times the office does get to busy so your work orders are a bit delayed. The area is nice, one of the down sides is they take a bit long cleaning up and forget to clean up in the back of the apartment complex us folks in the back do get forgot about. Oasis does not do any 6 month pre maintenance on in home washer and dryer plus no 6 month auto filter changes this should be a priority of oasis So plan on signing another year. This place is a total scam. Management does not do their jobs at all. The "gated" community is not gated either. They leave the gate open all day and homeless people come in. There is constantly crime here so be careful and lock your cars for sure. Very shady and dirty area. I've found disgusting things in the back parking lot and one day a whole car actually burned down back there and they didn't even tell us. There are also cockroaches everywhere on this property, we even found one in one of our coffee mugs and we keep our unit immaculately clean. They will also keep your entire security deposit to use for routine maintenance even though that is completely illegal in California. The pool, tennis courts, and playgrounds have been closed for months even thought they are allowed to be open now. read more

Only lived here for a few months. Since day 1 there were concerns. 1. A neighbor came to us saying his garage was stolen we found out later, this person who is a resident was accused of stealing another neighbor. Interestingly, i lost many boxes while I was unpacking moving my stuff to the place. 2. I did not complain but started searching for a place to move to. 3. When I wanted tp move out only 4 month later, I was told I have to pay 1 month rent to move out as a penalty. They were rude and not caring. Almost all the appliances have needed replacement. The apartment flooded because of a fire sprinkler leak. There are homeless people constantly rooting around in the dumpsters. There are so many sketchy people who do not use the front gate keypad and instead wait for paying tenants to open the gate for them. Go ahead and come here if you want. I'm out. read more

I almost never write yelp reviews anymore, but these guys really deserve the 1 star. If you're thinking of leasing, they will show you all these amenities you can use, and you may be impressed. The thing is, you can only use them when someone comes around to open it. So if you were planning on getting a workout in before work, nope, sorry. It doesn't open til 9 am and 11 am on the weekends. It also closes at night. So unless you have a really nice schedule with no family or responsibilities, you will be frustrated often by these hours. I get the feeling they charge you a lot of rent and then use it on stupid stuff no one cares about. They are CONSTANTLY strewing manure about everywhere, to the point where you can't even open your windows because then the lovely smell of cow poop will fill your home. They also constantly re-plant new plants for no reason. Wasteful and unnecessary. Speaking of wasteful, there is a terrible draught going on and this apartment complex insists on watering everything until there are floods on the sidewalk. A couple times recently there were big rainstorms and guess what? The sprinklers were STILL ON. Really? There is just no thought that goes into the maintenance process. I can't help but imagine the rent would be a lot lower if they didn't hemorrhage money on stupid things. Oh and by the way, do not live at the back of this complex. The train passes by right next to this area and it is really loud, really disruptive, and really frequent. Leasing will lie to you and try to downplay how bad it is. Don't buy it. I've lived here for a year, and just signed a lease for another year. The apartments themselves are pretty nice. They were built in 1996, and seem fairly updated. Our floor upstairs creaks, but the walls are pretty thick, and our neighbors are nice. The area feels very safe. There's always people out jogging or walking their dogs, and it seems like most of the residents are affiliated with the hospital (students or employees). There is a definite roach (oh sorry...."water bug") problem on the property. We haven't seen any inside, and pest control comes once a week, but seriously...if you walk outside at night you can definitely see them scatter. There are a ton of trees on the property (I think they claim 900?) and even though landscaping is here what seems like 5 days a week, there are always leaves and things scattered on the ground....great hiding places for little bugs. The black widows in the fall are super fun too. But again, this (so far) has only been outside. Maintenance is pretty nice, but very slow to fix things. I have been waiting a week for a work order so far, and they haven't come yet. I've called the office twice. Speaking of the office...they are the real reason I've subtracted the 2 stars. I don't know why Oasis can't keep staff for more than a couple of months, but everyone comes and goes very quickly. If you do want to rent an apartment, make sure you get everything that was promised in writing. We were told that the complex didn't charge pet rent by one person, but found out the next day they actually did. Staff seems to constantly be apologizing for something that someone else did, followed by "I'm new here". It gets a little old. The leasing staff does seem to generally want to please the residents/public, you just have to be really patient with them because they have no idea what's going on. A flat fee for water/trash is added to rent due every month, and gas and electric are a separate charge (combined I pay about $60 a month, depending on the time of year). Maintenance has turned off the water in our building 2 or 3 times in the past year for emergency service, but has always had it back on within an hour or 2. They do $5 pizza night once or twice a month, and have recently been providing bagels for the residents in the morning. All in all, I'm happy to live here. I just wish the office was a little more competent. EDIT: To Patrick - you're right, the train is sooo loud! We hand-picked our apartment to be away from the train, but I can't imagine being able to get any rest, or even simply hear your tv, if you lived close to the tracks. read more

I went there the next day, but the staff refused to show them to me. When I mentioned that knowing those unit numbers is the proof that the manager let me know (because they knew that I talked with the manager the day before), then the staff told me to my face directly "YOU COULD HAVE GOTTEN IT ON THE WEBSITE." She basically called me a liar to my face (and I didn't even know their website lists the units). Well, they will not get my business by calling me a liar for correct information. They didn't even bother to call me on Monday after the manager could have clarified that she did tell me before the weekend that I could see the three units. Current tenants I asked complained about cockroaches and bugs. The washer was very old and small, not fit a comforter for winter. One unit had a tiny refrigerator for a 2 bedroom apartment: smaller than 5 feet. Their stove is old as well, with a coil type thing (not real fire). They won't replace the old and small appliances, no discount for not using their appliances/bringing or buying ones, and still charging us if their appliances would be stolen from their not well-managed garages (many people complained about thefts in garages on Yelp). read more

These are really old apartments. Walls are thin and you can hear everything through the walls. Everything keeps breaking but the management is so HORRIBLE that you'll probably be living with your unrepaired issues for a very long while. The work is sub par when they eventually get to it because the owners don't want to spend any more than the minimum to just patch it up. They basically put a bandaid on everything. And forget the parking! It is absolutely a nightmare. Not only do they not tow the cars of employees of nearby hospitals and restaurants who use the apartment parking spaces for their daily use, the residents don't use their garages to park so everyone is fighting for spaces. It shouldn't be a normal thing to have to park on the other end of the apartment complex on a regular basis. The noise at night is kind of bad so if you're a light sleeper, you'll hear your neighbors, the traffic, the trains, the sirens...neighbors having sex...everything. I didn't realize there were so many shady people hanging around the townhomes, either. The homeless people wander through the complex dumpster diving and loitering around the apartments, but there is no use complaining because they don't even bother making sure the front gates are working half the nights. I would never recommend this place to anyone I like or respect. read more

This place is horrible and we pay 1800 for 3 bedrooms. Full of crap, inserts, roddens, flies outside the door. Inside the house cabinets break every day, toilets make squeaky sounds. Everything is horrible and not worth the money we pay them. read more

Worst place to live! Super expensive, they make you get renters insurance just to move in. When we lived there the appliances didn't work, roaches came in from the pipes, light fixtures & sockets. And worse of all it's FULL of brown recluse spiders!!! The pool area was always filled with unsupervised teens throwing furniture around. The "sauna" is a joke. They ask you to turn it on an hour just to heat up, sit on the top bench & it's still not hot enough! Half of the gym equipment never operable. The staff sits around the office talking about the tenants & what they post on their web portal. After leaving this nightmare, we found a home 10x's more lovely for HALF the price. Quick update on oasis. Stay as far away as possible from this place. It's been 2 months since we moved in and in unprofessionalism from this place is ridiculous. They have entered our home with out posting notice and the level of disrespect from the staff is sickening. Rather spend 22 thousand a year some where else were the staff is respectful and the maintenance doesn't disrespect you and are willing to fix the issues that their 30+ year old buildings have. It's a shame the staff is so horrible.l here because it is nice and quiet.My wife and I were planning g on staying for 4-5 years here. Now we are looking for a nicer better managed townhouse community Never. I will make sure to go on Zillow, apartment guide, apartment finder and google to leave reviews and let people know how horrible this place is.BEWARE OF THIS HORRIBLE ESTABLISHMENT. read more

I have lived at Oasis Townhouses for about three months now. It is conveniently located by everything that I need with school and work. The apartment itself is a good size. Quiet townhouses for the most part. The customer service is outstanding, Elyse Aguirre (works in the front office!) has been the most helpful and kind in facilitating any services or questions that I might have. Elyse is always available to answer a call or direct me in the way that I should go. I have lived here for 5 months and I have absolutely hated it the whole time. There are tons of flying roaches all around our house, by the front door and even in our house sometimes. We're super clean and I've had them spray and it's still a problem. Trash cans are always super dirty and overflowing. Parking sucks. Super expensive. They expect you to keep your ac set at 78 so it doesn't freeze. It's a gated community yet the gates are open 24/7. All 3 of our toilets have been clogged at least 2 times. We had a major leak in the wall from upstairs to downstairs. I cannot wait for our lease to be up so we can get the hell out of here. read more

I was interested in moving to this place. I made and appointment so I can go see the unit. I was unfortunately late by 10 minutes due to traffic and was unable to view the apartment. According to a board they have posted up, they have until 4:45 pm on Sunday's to show the apartment. It was 4:10 and Leticia was already closing it up and said I had to reschedule. I thought, if they want to rent the apartment they would make an exception even though i was late, but I guess since its Sunday, they want to leave as soon as possible and don't even care about attempting to rent it out. If they couldn't make a 10 minute exception for me, this shows what type of management this community has. Im better off looking somewhere else. It was very upsetting the fact that I had driven all the way there just to have to reschedule.But im better off looking somewhere else. read more

Karen Cassidy I have lived her 1.5 years and had a cockroach problem the whole time. Management sent out exterminators 4 times but the problem still exists. My move in was delayed because of this problem so it was pre-existing. We are clean and take care of our unit but when I gave my notice two months early because of cockroaches back again they refused to let me out of my lease without penalizing us. I would not recommend Oasis unless you do a month to month. The trash areas are filthy and parking by my unit is hard to get a spot. There have been problems with people loitering at night in the parking lots and we have had to call the police over 10 times. read more
