Their leasing agents seem lazy and are not trained in customer relations. I asked the agent if I could come inside her office and she asked me to give her a minute so I sat in the lobby. Then she started speaking from her office while I was in the lobby and asked me to come back after I had just sat down. She should have just out to the lobby. She did not offer to give me a tour and asked me to come back at a later time. I think the situation could have been handled in a better way but hey, that's just my opinion based on my previous experiences in dealing with highly professional and well trained property managers and leasing agents. read more

Hi, my post is like a 'counter-post' regarding former tenants, the upstairs folks with the dog that only relieved himself once or twice on the balcony. Tony G/aka STEVE and Li L/aka Penelope ur upsetting posts, aimed at not only me but my son and the nice folks here, it's been weighing on me. I know I should just ignore the ugliness but everyday I wake up thinking that it's cowardly of me to say nothing. So as uncomfortable as this is, here goes. Your situation was all about lease violations, intended to keep the community clean and safe, it's not about a real Karen/Me or racists/staff-who happen to share ur own ethnicity. If u had house trained ur dog (a banned breed/not declared on the lease) in the 1.5 yrs u had him, u could have continued to enjoy those earlier 'no complaint' years. But you chose the red pill instead. Tony G/STEVE, u choose to curse at and intimidate a 65 yo woman, because enough was enough for me, with the animal waste spilling over onto my furnished patio. The umbrella and chairs, my outdoor carpet were soaked in dog waste. Yes, I complained. Of course, I complained. It was disgusting to have to clean up after you and embarrassing to have that odor waft everywhere when the sun came out. AND yes, my 30yo son visited you, to let u know that both the dog mess situation and the cursing was going to stop. He's the guy whose always more likely to keep the peace than be aggressive. He's a car salesman, everyone is a potential customer to car sales guys. AND I did not care for ur depiction of him, if u had children, if u loved them, u would understand that. The pic below is of the Astro turf, lifted temporarily for balcony repair, which ur dog obviously only relieved himself on, that once or twice mentioned in Li L's post. Also pics of waste ... ur dogs waste on my patio. Pictures tell 1000 words, although with the length of my post we're pretty much even. For everyone else, I sincerely apologize for the drama, it's embarrassing, but saying ugly and untrue things, and then doing it under false names, it's cowardly, it's just not acceptable. Sierra Vista is a quiet, well maintained community. The new mngnt team are kind , thoughtful and professional. I apologize to them, because I know that a lie travels at 3 times the speed of truth and that the sting of Tony G/Steve and Li L/Penelope's posts will linger on, like the stench of animal waste on a hot day, despite their being fabrications. Honestly from the start staff has been very supportive and helpful always addressing any concerns or issues right away. Vanessa has been amazing acknowledging everything we need and always willing to help out. She is very narrow and straightforward. This is a very quiet and respectful peaceful community. This is beyond ridiculous this new management honestly is a piece of work . I've been here for almost 4 years before this management came into this building and I never had an issue till now .. This new management wants to give me a three day notice because my dog sometimes uses the restroom on our balcony but we always clean up after him .. This is ridiculous they want to give us a three day notice when there is pandemic going on like how ridiculous is this .. I'm here loosing my job and this management is worried about a dog sometimes using the restroom .. They have no remorse for there renters .. I've been here so many years and no one has ever complained before . We always pay our rent on time and now we get threatened when there's more real life issues going on .. This is beyond sad that this management is worried about kicking you out when I'm here loosing my job. read more

Sierra Vista has new owners & also, new management. Maggie & Everett in the office have been great with anything I have needed. The maintenance is great as well. It seems they are fixing and updating many things in the apartments and on the grounds that should of been done before. I've noticed that issues are being resolved quicker, such as water leaks on the grounds and lights that have been out for months. I know these things take time, but overall, the new team seems like they are making a huge difference!! read more

Our vehicle was towed during a horrible rain storm which followed a power outage. Leasing assistant Vanessa directed me to call a tow company that I had already been calling for the past 30 minutes with no luck. Vanessa started eating her lunch mid conversation, that wasn't pulled out until her new (priority) tenant walked out of the office which shows her level of respect and professionalism based on who she's dealing with. I was told that Sierra Vista staff has no knowledge of any cars being towed and that the tow company just assumes what cars are conducting office business, which is a lie. The towing company informed me that the tow was in fact authorized by sierra vista staff that morning promptly after the leasing office was opened 8:30am. Vanessa continued to smack on her lunch, asking me "are you sure your car is gone?.. l mean remember last time?" I felt like she was taunting me based on a past traumatic encounter (involving my child) again very unprofessional. I just left the leasing office at that point. Meanwhile my neighbor told me she received a courtesy call to correct her parking to avoid a costly tow, which leads me to believe my tow was a vindictive act. I'm not sure what Vanessa has against me but her vibe is always standoffish. EVERY tenant should be extended the same courtesy and warnings, both of my vehicles are registered and on file with the property. I pay my rent a week in advance every month and have no complaints on file. We've never received a parking warning or violation after living here since 2015. I was towed from "future resident parking" that everyone utilizes due to a known parking overflow issue that no action to correct has taken place. read more

Trash and dumb managers. First a little bit of ago we smelled gas and thought it was a leak. They came said they didn't smell anything and yesterday someone came in and said there was a leak. Our apartment have a bad smell that makes me feel sick. We've told them many times they came in and "didn't smell" anything. You can definitely smell something and when the windows are not open the smell is very overwhelming. Nothing but dum as managers, would not recommend.‍ read more

Please add a buzzard for guests up by the gate entrance. It's very inconvenient to get out the bed at night or walk to the front to let guest in or to pick up your delivery. read more

I moved in November of last year. I've haven't had any issues with my apartment. The unit is "purrrfect" for me and my cat (Monte). The property is safe and quiet. There are always activities for your children. The property manager is "angel" for this community. She is well loved and respected. Storm will go out of her way to get the help you need. read more

Lived at this place for 2 years. Not because we enjoyed it but we waited to find a better place. First year was horrible, moved in July- hottest month and air conditioner broke. Took 4 days for someone to fix it after I complained. Several appliances broke afterwards. The next year, change in Management and company. You would think it would improve but.... still the same. Maintenance workers kept parking in my carport while I was shopping. Needless to say, that happened frequently. Instead of fixing and improving the actual apartments, they decided to remodel the leasing office. Seriously?! As if the office can't have enough cold air. The priority isn't about the tenants. So glad to be living in a better community. read more

Sierra Vista community was a great place to call home for the past two years. The maintenance team is always super helpful and our neighbors were always such a delight. For Loma Linda students, this community is a short 5 minute drive and it's conveniently close to local food shops and grocery stores. If it weren't for us buying a home, we would have definitely stayed. read more

Nice size apartment comes with a full washer and dryer included in rent. No water bill is a plus unlike other apartments charge for water without a washer and dryer. I like the fact that there are two bathrooms and the master bedroom has two closets. New owners so hopefully things will get fixed read more

I have some time off of work and decided to leave a review of my time here at Sierra vista. I moved back in January and haven't had anything but great experiences here. The management team in the office are so friendly and easy to reach. They just painted the outdoor and it looks so nice I'm happy I moved here. And my dog ( glen coco) loves the new dog park! So we have been renting at this apartment for a little over a year now, so we went through the ownership change nonetheless. At first the new owners and staff seemed great (painting the buildings, replacing old and broken things, remodeling the washer and dryer area etc.) then myself and my fiancée received a letter in the mail telling us that not only we are going to have to start paying for water/gas/sewage/trash (previously included with rent) Now they are raising rent during a pandemic?! Thankfully my fiancée and myself are in a financial place that this isn't going to effect us very much but I can't imagine being someone who is struggling and who doesn't have steady income during this time. Not only with this going on but our air conditioner broke about a week ago-okay make a maintenance request- haven't heard anything from anyone after leaving emails and messages to the office. Currently our house is at 87 degrees while the outside temperature is 105. This company does not care about their renters. We would have moved into a house this year if it wasn't for the pandemic. But after this year they can kiss our renewal lease goodbye because we aren't staying. read more

Love them so far. Only moved in a month ago, but maintenance helped with the small issues we had and the community is quiet.

In the last year or so there has been a serious decline in how this property manages trash and waste. Trash is allowed to pile up in the mail area, blows all over the place and is not cleaned up. Trash in the bins spill out everywhere and is not attended to. Dog waste bins overflowed and not attended to. Trash bins in common areas overflowing and not attended to. The worst part is the staff walks right by all of this and does nothing. Perhaps management should come out of their office every now and then and see what I am talking about; trash all over makes the property very unattractive. I'm sure they could care less because they aren't living here, but we do. read more
