HONESTY and INTEGRITY I haven't actually hired this company, but I still wanted to leave a review because I was genuinely impressed by my experience. After reading their excellent Yelp reviews, I contacted them to get an estimate for upgrading my pool deck. Jay came out, thoroughly inspected my existing concrete, and instead of trying to sell me the most expensive option, he told me my concrete was in great condition. He recommended an epoxy pebble overlay that would give me the look I wanted for about half the cost of replacing everything. That level of honesty and integrity is rare. He could have easily recommended a much more expensive project, but instead he put my best interests first. Whether or not I ended up using their services, I wanted to recognize a company that values honesty over making a bigger sale. Our experience started out great with our sales rep, Jason, but everything after that was frustrating. We repeatedly had to correct mistakes, including receiving the wrong brick samples, incorrect materials being delivered, and the crew not following the agreed-upon design. We had to stop the project multiple times to prevent errors, and even had to purchase our own drain covers because they weren't included. After the project was completed, we noticed several quality issues, including loose artificial turf, visible turf seams ( I say this because 1 particular seem look horrible), and rough-looking paver cuts in some areas. We were promised these issues would be repaired after speaking with Steven(project manager) and Nick(owner), but more than two months later, we're still waiting. The biggest issue involved our $4,000 down payment. We were instructed to send it via Zelle before the project was completed, but Jason never informed Oasis's financing department, so the financing company charged us for the full project amount. We had to resolve the issue ourselves, despite being told the company would take care of it. The finished yard looks okay, but the amount of miscommunication, money, mistakes, and lack of follow-through made this project far more stressful than it should have been. We had originally planned to hire Oasis again for our backyard project next month, but after this experience, we'll be using another company instead. I also later learned that Jason is no longer with Oasis after he contacted me through social media saying he is with a new company who can do the work cheaper than Oasis. Regardless of the reason for his departure, our experience with Oasis fell well short of our expectations. I can't recommend this company. Several neighbors have asked who completed our front yard because they liked the overall appearance, but based on our experience, I encouraged them to look elsewhere. read more

We hired on Oasis to redo our backyard that we have always had issues with when we had real grass. Between weeds, holes dug by our dog, and neighbors ficus tree roots running through our grass - we just could never keep our grass area nice and usable. We wanted to have an area for a pergola and a turf area for a kids playground that could also be used by our dog. We added a planter box which will later have plants. Here's what you should expect. * Jay and his son Sean were on time, professional, and personable - pic below. * Sean quietly used a tablet to prep an on-the-spot design drawing with cost estimate as we walked our yard with Jay to flesh out the project. The design and estimate updated dynamically, real-time & with measurements, as we added and changed things. Amazing! * Jay left us with a full design drawing and estimate along with his personal contact information. Follow up text, phone, and email communications with Jay were easy and he responded rapidly to questions and design changes. * He helped us with subsequent design changes and we had updated drawings and cost estimates within a few hours at most (understandably, no change orders within seven days of job start). * Be prepared for things to move quickly. Lead times vary but our job start was scheduled just four weeks out from signing our agreement. * Oasis has around 15 field crews and two project mangers. Ours arrived on time. Jay and Project Manager Steven were present to walk through the project with me and Crew Lead Juan that first morning. Very reassuring. * Every project has twists & turns. I found it easy to iron things out with Juan, Steven, and Jay as they came up. I heard, "We want you to be happy" many times from them - it sounds like a company-wide thing. * The crew said our job "easy to moderate" in difficulty even though it involved significant changes to our very poor drainage, pavers, decorative rock planters, concrete, old plant removal, new plantings, drip irrigation installation, landscape lighting infrastructure, artificial turf with curved borders throughout, and a nasty gopher problem - really a complete re-do of our back and side yards. * The crew worked their butts off - Juan, David, Carlos, Brian, and Alex. Even though weather and other events extended our job a few days, their focus remained on getting the job done right. Clean up was actually pretty good. * Expect Jay, Steven, and the Oasis crew to want you to be pleased, and to put that into action by actually correcting things that aren't quite right for you before finishing the job. * Oasis is licensed, bonded, and insured for workers comp and liability. My husband and I hired Oasis Turf and Hardscape last year for a large project, and while we were initially excited to bring our vision to life, the experience unfortunately fell short of expectations. Jay, our sales rep, was professional and helpful in the beginning, but the execution phase was where things became problematic. The original project manager failed to communicate key details to the crew, leading to a number of issues and misunderstandings throughout the process. This resulted in a lot of back-and-forth with Nathan and his business partner, and while they eventually agreed to absorb the cost of necessary corrections, it took multiple difficult conversations to get there. One of the most troubling aspects was learning that the crew had not been paid during the course of our project. To this day, I don't know if the foremen were ever compensated, but the fact that this was an issue is incredibly concerning. After they brought on a new project manager, Steve, he was supposed to schedule the crew to return and fix the front lawn, which had been damaged during the renovation. Not only was the original St Augustine grass never restored, but the replacement was allowed to dry out, and we also experienced ongoing irrigation issues that were never fully resolved. In short, while the company may have good intentions, the mismanagement, lack of ownership, and poor communication led to a disappointing experience. I truly wish it had gone differently. read more

Jon came out and listened to our needs and developed a plan to fit, and stay within a reasonable budget. The crew came on the day promised at the time promised. They moved some existing gravel out of the way to make room for the turf, some paver stones, and some new decorative river rock. The job took less than a day to complete, and it looks great. It's a major improvement to what we had originally. Our dogs are much happier stepping on the turf rather than the sharp gravel that was there before.
