I've been here a few times already. The staff is really nice and the massages are great. When you walk in the staff greets you with a cup of hot tea. I typically go in because my body gets stiff so I prefer a more firm type of massage, and I've been massaged by both the men and women on staff, and so far I have no preference as they are all good at their job. For what you get the prices are also very reasonable. I've been here with my partner as well and they were considerate to ask if she would prefer a male or female masseuse. I've been to numerous places in the bay area and thus far this is one of my favorites overall. If I were to be super critical these are my only comments (though this isn't enough for me to drop it down less than 5 stars): - The rooms aren't soundproof, so sometimes if other customers are coming in you'll hear them and it can take you out of the moment. - Tips are asked based on experience quality (I'd prefer to pay a flat rate rather than judge an employee's work to their face) - The staff are either shy or very softspoken to sometimes I miss what they ask during my massage. read more

This was by far the worst massage experience I have ever had and raises serious concerns about how this business operates. Customers are required to tip up front so staff can "gauge" how good of a massage you will receive. This practice is unethical, coercive, and completely inappropriate for a legitimate massage establishment. I tipped more than usual due to New Year's Eve, and the service was still unacceptable. The massage itself was extremely poor: inconsistent and random pressure, repeated unexplained absences from the room, no professional technique, and strong, unpleasant odors throughout the session. It felt disorganized and untrained. We were explicitly told in advance that my wife and I could receive a couples massage, which turned out to be false. This was a clear misrepresentation of services. Based on this experience, I have serious concerns about consumer compliance, professional licensing, and overall legality of this operation. Found an amazing deal on Groupon for a hot stone therapy massage. HIGHLY recommend. The store was very clean and ambient music filled the rooms. Staff was efficient and friendly. I was able to tell my masseuse what hurt the most and he did an amazing job of adjusting pressure when needed but also getting out my knots. I've had higher end massages but still felt like this one focused on deep tissue more. Massage ended with a small cup of water on your way out. When we arrived, she said $65/person, which felt pretty sneaky. After discussing the discrepancy for 10 minutes, they said now they only have time for a 45 minute massage. We said ok and that we'll just buy the 45 minute Groupon for $41. They said they'd charge $50. We showed the price on our phones and they refused to honor it. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. I purhased several Groupons for my wife and I to use here. I was specifically intrigued to use the LED light therapy as part of the package. The massage itself was very basic but at several points I was asking myself whether or not they were professionally trained. As the masseuse was massaging my neck, I could smell cigarette on their fingers which was absolutely disgusting. On top of this, they did not use any LED light therapy. I reached out to Groupon to explain my concerns and they responded saying that they had reached out to Oasis. Oasis proceeded to tell Groupon that I declined the light service which is a complete and utter lie. No one spoke to me in the massage at all. The only time they spoke to me was after the massage when they were looking for a tip. Please do yourself a favor and DO NOT use this place. As my Dad always said, you buy cheap you buy twice. These folks are the best, this is about the 7th or 8th time I have been in. Very clean rooms, both the women and men masseuses know how to give a great deep tissue massage. They are very polite, when you get there they are ready, no waiting. Massage is thorough, they will focus on trouble points if asked. Having been to a number of places in PH/WC area, this is the BEST massage place done by true professionals, who take great care and highly skilled. Everything was fine, massage was the value of what I paid besides the end. As I was trying to leave the therapist who gave me the massage asked me for a tip, in which she pointed to a chart they had on the wall. Anything under $10 tip meant from the chart that the massage was not good/not to my liking. When I tipped below the $10 tier, she said something in another language and changed her demeanor. I went there with my two kids who waited while I had my massage. They were very nice to my kids and that was really nice. I had an injury to me left leg and shoulder. They said it would be painful yet feel better later. I understood this. I am not one to take lots of pain if I am injured so they toned it down. I finished a pedicure next door and came in as a walk-in. This was on Wednesday (5/28) around 6pm. The older woman at the front desk did my massage. She seemed very very inexperienced. I beg of you as the owner to get a massage from her to understand what I and some other reviews are referring to. It felt like she was ringing out a towel (but it was my skin) over and over all over my body, incredibly and confusingly fast paced. I was not relaxed once. Her and the other masseuse were also loudly chatting back and forth over the divider while giving us massages. The whole experience was so strange and at the end as I was walking out, she said "you tip now?" and pointed to the tip chart behind the counter then when I said no, she repeated herself and pointed again. Wish I would have read reviews before buying the Groupon. I couldn't communicate with either the front desk woman or the masseuse. I am pregnant so have to be on my side or back. The massage started dry with very hard and fast rubbing to my face and scalp. I mean extremely hard and fast rubbing. The opposite of what the rest of the massage was which was rubbing over and over in different spots. It was supposed to be a deep tissue with red light therapy (i received neither). The woman then exposed both of my breasts and rubbed all over them. She also massaged my whole butt. It felt violating and inappropriate. If it would have been a man I would have filed a suit. I honestly feel the woman thinks that is what a massage is supposed to be. I highly doubt she has been trained. On top of the poor massage I had to listen to two women arguing about a Groupon that a customer said she paid for but couldn't figure out how to show them proof. It went on for 10-15 minutes. Then a very loud and annoying cell phone rang for multiple minutes (the masseuse asked if it was mine--I think because it just kept going). I still tipped because number one I couldn't communicate my issues with her and 2 because I know she is just trying to make a living. The reception person and the massage therapists (there were two when I was there) speak no English and were shoving their phone at me to use a translator. I didn't realize what they were doing at first and it was awkward. The rooms are separate and private, but there is no sound barrier. This was the absolute worst massage I have ever had. I went with my daughter, and was hopeful hers was better - it was not. So that is two people who had the worst massages ever. I can't overstate that this felt like an assault rather than a massage. The therapists were rough, did not check in before pulling arms into painful stretches. Fingernails dug into me. Honestly, we both felt completely violated which is not how a massage is supposed to feel. My therapist used her arms and elbows for everything. She was a small woman - I have no idea how she could have even thought that anything she was doing would feel good to literally any human being. After, she scrubbed me with a washcloth to get the oil off - I felt like I was having nuclear waste scrubbed off of me. The hot stones (which I didn't ask for) were too hot and she had no idea what to do with them, other than to clack them loudly. Honestly, it would have been more relaxing to stay home and throw ourselves repeatedly into the wall. I did tip the therapist, because I think not tipping is really rude; but honestly, we both resent that we paid for this prison yard beating at all.
