    Cortado and seltzer water
    Joe C.

The service was fast and friendly. They even offer seltzer water with their cortados, which is great for a pallet cleanser between sips. The cortado was well balanced, smooth, and delicious. No bitterness at all. The vibe is very chill. All of the baristas are OB to the core and very chill. They offer indoor and outdoor seating which I love.

A coworker recommended this spot so we decided to check it out. Ordered a black coffee, caramel latte and a spinach pastry. We really enjoyed the pastry and the latte was serviced in what looks to be a homemade pottery cup which was a nice touch. The place is huge inside and I'm glad they open early unlike most coffee shops. The vibes were perfect, nice soft music playing and the employees were very welcoming and pleasant . Will definitely go back.

Just had a cold brew here so can't speak for their specialty drinks, but I really enjoyed the cold brew. Cute little vibe In here. would be a great spot to get some work or studying done for a nice change of scenery

Outstanding coffee! I took one sip of my latte and said "oh this is impeccable". The atmosphere is also great. The shop is MASSIVE and they have the roasting machine right there behind the bar. It's a very rustic look and it's very cozy. It's great for working from. A ton of people post up there with their laptops. There's outlets and plenty of tables. Also it's located in prime OB!

    Iced Lavender Latte, Whole Milk

I haven't been here in years and the last time I went with my friend, I believe in 2020- I remember it was enjoyable and the workers mentioned there was no more stamp card usage (as in they've never seen it before in their life). Today I came with my brother. The interior was very spacious, although compared to last time there were a few tables missing from the interior. They are very dog friendly-- so many dogs were in there. But the owners were very aware of their pets so there were no fighting luckily. The workers (3 of them) were kind as well. I ordered an Iced Lavender Latte with Whole Milk (to go). It was quite milky, light, and the lavender flavor was very minimal. The syrup was $1 extra which I think is kind of wild especially if you can't taste it in the drink. Usually it's .50 or .75 additional. My brother ordered an Iced Matcha Latte with alternative milk (+ $1). The worker mentioned it comes presweetened. My brother said the drink was pretty milky as well. Overall, our drinks were milky and I don't think we will be coming back or recommending it to others as we used to. But who knows, they could have a drink you might enjoy so give it a try once and see what you think. They had a big menu and some drink specials, pastries, bagels, etc.

I think this place had a nice ambient vibe, lots of space where people worked and connected with one another. The service was pleasant as well, I got a matcha latte with vanilla. It was good!

Cute laid back coffee shop with some unique flavors. Prices are priced high, parking is on street morning is fine night nothing open. Large area to sit and sip. All concrete so it gets loud. Ordered the cold brew with rosemary and cardamom syrup. I am trying to recreate that syrup. Will be back.

    Waffle and açaí bowl

A very solid spot for coffee and light bites. Service was kind and the interior is spacious with plenty of seating. My boyfriend especially loved their latte with seasonal cold foams (maple and brown sugar cinnamon). We came back twice during our trip, which says a lot. I ordered an americano and an açaí bowl, both of which were good and fairly standard. The "best waffle ever" was unfortunately a little too sweet, as it was heavily covered in syrup. That aside, the açaí bowl was quite large for the price point, and the other food options looked promising. Overall, a great café to visit for coffee and more.

After dropping my bicycle at the shop I decided to take a walk over and grab a coffee. Originally asked for a cortado but after seeing their size the barista navigated me into getting their cappuccino with extra shots. Thank you for taking the time to make sure I got my moneys worth. It was cool to see the pictures from what I think from around the world while I waited. Cool esthetics.

Love the coffee here. We come all the way from Palm Springs just to get our coffee here. You get a free cup of coffee with every bag purchased. So we do that, too!

Chunky milk. No this is not a frozen coffee.

Went to OB beans with high hopes based off reviews but the coffee I received is disgusting. The milk is chunky making it awful to drink. I also got Carmel but can't taste any. Finally just to top it off my brother in law ordered cold foam and they said he didn't so he also didn't get his cold foam. Overall bad experience and waste of time and money.

Very good coffee shop, The coffee is strong and delicious, small batch and seasonal. The place is popular with both locals and tourists. A neighborhood gem

Solid spot to grab a breakfast bite. I really liked the space itself--lively local atmosphere and very spacious. I got the iced chai with earl grey cold foam--I thought the foam especially was delicious, and the chai was decent. I ordered the big kahuna too. The waffle was a little too sugary for my taste, as I was expecting something more savory. Also, the avocado wasn't very appetizing (see photo). I think the pricing was fair, and the staff was friendly. Good spot overall!

Service was friendly and the americano was okay. Alot of people here studying or working on their laptops, more of a quiet atmosphere.

I'm just extremely disappointed with how poor my experience was today because I had only super positive experiences previously and was looking forward to dining there this morning after sometime away, but holy hell ....today's experience has been so profoundly bad. Firstly, my husband ordered two breakfast burritos - one with bacon and the other with bacon on the side. I'll chalk this one up to miscommunication, but they put bacon in one, and bacon in the other too - and then added bacon on the side to the other and charged us $5.50 for the extra bacon. Again, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt here and will be sure to communicate explicitly next time. They kindly made me a new one, but the new one had potatoes that weren't cooked thoroughly (likely to rush the food to me, so I acknowledge the difficulty here), however there was hardly any avocado. I literally had to complain again because I didn't believe there was any avocado at all. I wouldn't be as pissed if this weren't an EIGHTEEN DOLLAR breakfast burrito. Lastly, the coffee lids don't fit on the cups. We tried to put one on and ended up spilling the entire coffee. I chalked this up to an accident on our part, however another patron who observed our incident said "their lids don't fit the cup, right??" And I was like "oh so it wasn't just us??" And she was like "no, I almost spilled mine all over too." This random patron encouraged us to ask for a new cup of coffee as a result (thanks, random patron!). The Molly's team did kindly make us a new (albeit quite bitter) drink, which I appreciate. However, the lid was still an issue - it would spill out of the cup all over the rim between the cup and the lid when I'd try to take a sip, so I took off the lid entirely, but then was stuck with dealing with spills while walking around - I had to move at a snail's pace to prevent spills altogether. This was easier to deal with random leakage around the entire cup every time I'd sip with the lid on. Ultimately It was just a lose-lose with the ill fitting lid situation. All this to say - Molly's Team, yall were fantastic just a month ago. What happened? I understand food and services in the beach area stuff are often expensive and rarely good, but you guys are *too* expensive for this poor of service and quality. Two stars because at least the folks there are generally nice.

The food has that made-from-scratch feel to it, and is always fresh and high quality. I've had breakfast and lunch here and haven't left a crumb behind either time. I loved the waffle with berries for breakfast, and the veggie sandwich at lunch time. I also LOVED the drink menu-- had the best matcha latte with housemade syrup (passionfruit I think?) and a really delicious old fashioned caramel latte. Some people might consider the downside of a place like this to be the small kitchen, as it can impact wait times and the kitchen's ability to accommodate specific requests. However!! I think this just makes the experience more special-- having to slow down and savor a dining experience instead of rushing from place to place is truly a treat. Although not always speedy necessarily, I've had amazing service every time I've visited here. On one occasion we had longer wait times for our food and were treated with a delicious cake at the end of our meal. On another, we had a very minor snafu happen where a server was adjusting an umbrella and accidentally knocked something over on the table next to us-- the staff comped all of our meals out of consideration which was just so generous and understanding. Overall I can't recommend this place enough! They have so many fun menus and specials. I can't wait to try their Peasant night in a few weeks. Grateful to have this spot in the neighborhood!

It actually is a very small cafe, so expect a bit of waiting, especially for peak dining times and weekends. There is seating both indoors and outdoors, and I chose to sit indoors. I was interested in their coffee menu, since they seemed to take craft in some of their creations. I enjoyed their Strawberry Cold Brew. It was light and sweet from the foam on top and had a nice balance of brew and strawberry flavor. For food, we kept it all veggie with their Black Bean Tacos and a Superfood bowl. It wasn't our first choice, though, as all of our selections were sold out for the afternoon. The food was bright and colorful, but did take a little longer to prepare. My bowl had plenty of red bell peppers and onions, which I did eventually get tired of eating. I loved the crispy kale and wish they included more of it or some seeds on top for more crunch! That day they were out of stock on everything we wanted, so I will have to give it another go if I ever get the chance to revisit. Overall, the service was very kind from the ladies and the coffee is notable!

We ended up paying for parking in the next block. I got the big breakfast number one. It is generous enough for two adults. Two pancakes, two strips of crispy bacon, English Muffin, potatoes covered in ooey and gooey mounds of cheese. It was tasty and hit the spot. My wife got the breakfast burrito. I washed my food down with a cup of OJ. They also have coffee but no decaf coffee. Here's the workflow, order at the counter, get a table, the staff will deliver your meal to your table inside or outside. The entire time we noticed all the servers were quite slow and often congregating in groups to chat with each other, meanwhile it seemed that the busboys were the only ones putting in effort. Our waitress greeted us twice asking us what we wanted for drinks double, so I completely understand being exhausted from an all morning shift, however all the waiting staff seemed low battery so no clue if they're understaffed and these are all just Summer jobs or what but the only energy in that dining room was ONLY coming from the busboys. Especially since we had to wait quite a while to even be greeted by our waitress after being sat and then even more time for her to come back to then "welcome" us again as if she forgot she had already spoken to us. Very disappointed that the shakshuka only comes with 3 mini pita slices (especially bc I spotted an image posted on here of the same order in June with double the amount of pita). I asked our waitress for more bread, which she DID end up adding to our bill and then NEVER delivering it--also pretty peeved she didn't mention it would be an extra cost when I asked. Flavor of the food is all there, just really wish the atmosphere and energy of the servers would match it--definitely spoiled our experience for sure having a server who did not provide us a fair amount of attention and an extra unnecessary $3 charge for the additional bread we never received. The bathrooms were also filthy with toilet paper across the floor everywhere and soiled toilets.
