DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THEM. I ordered a birthday cake from them and it was horrible. It was not ready by pick up time. The icing, frosting and lettering was completely wrong on the cake. When they went back to fix it , they just scraped off the icing and just wrote letters. They misspelled the name wrong on the cake for the second time. When they scraped off the frosting, instead of fixing the cake by adding more frosting, they left it bare, so parts of the cake had no frosting on it. Customer service was horrible and lazy. I would never order anything from them again. I advise everyone to stay away from this place. They are not worth the money.

Love coming here. They always have such a nice variety. The food is always fresh. There's plenty of fish to choose from. Mom gets the Mini - Rasta pasta with whiting Me - Sweet Chili pepper Shrimp with Mac n cheese and cabbage. Hubs - curry goat, yellow rice and cabbage Always to go but lunch time is ridiculously packed.

This restaurant and bakery is a staple in Rochdale Village mall. The food is always fresh and delicious. There is a always a long line to purchase food. You cannot go wrong with anything you decide to buy. I always buy the red snapper, jerk chicken, jerk salmon.. The jerk pork is foodgasm in your mouth. The prices are reasonable and affordable. Definitely a must try if ever in the area.

Salmon , plantain, cabbage/ veggie mix Haven't eaten here in years

Haven't been here in years, but remember the fish a little more expensive so when I asked the young man how much$ he said $14 . I said Okay. The pay line was longer than the order line . I shoulda known that spelled trouble! The lady ringing up was slow as hell. When it was finally my turn she rings 18+ tax I told her the guy said $14 she said who? I pointed she said he's New he wouldn't know. U would think she was new as long as it took her to ring the 5 people a head of me. She said it was on the flashing Menu board but it was NOT. I didn't feel Like arguing so I paid. The cabbage was filled with water the bag was leaking. I had to drain the water before eating. The fish was Ok. But I won't be back. UmmExcept maybe for the black cake in the Bakery area holiday time.

This place is ok with me. Let me say 1st that I overlooked this place because I am petrified of "mall food" because I am afraid of food poisoning which almost claimed my life. Anyway, a a friend recommended it and I tried breakfast 1st. Compared to The Door the portions are slightly smaller and about $2 cheaper. I had codfish and fry dumplings with bananas and it was delish. Next time I had escovitch fish and spinach rice, so so so good. On this my 3rd visit I got food for my daughter and myself. Just for comparisons sake we switched up. I got Jerk chicken rice and peas and she got yellow rice. Both of us liked our chicken except for me they don't have a real Jerk sauce and they really didn't have enough spice in it. To me I would stick with The Doors Jerk chicken. The yellow rice was much fresher than the rice and peas. I added a slice of the toasted coconut pineapple cake, two of my favorite things. it was good but I couldn't eat thr filling, way too sweet. I would visit again and sample other things.

    That Sweet Chili Chicken.

I venture out there just to get a half pound to a pound of their Sweet Chili Chicken. It's worth it trust me. I also enjoy their plantains. I can't speak to the other foods because I haven't tried them yet. In due time I'm sure that will change. Oh and I had tried their coconut turnovers. I have no strong feeling about them one way or the other.

Bakery with coffee/tea drinks on weekdays and a rotating food menu Friday and Saturday. Oh! Almost forgot to mention the cornbread. It was like a dessert itself. Sweet, sort of cakey. Enjoyable! As I looked inside it was semi dark and I saw a girl inside and asked if they were close she said yes and no lol but that's because they were closing and happened to be there a little later than usual. When I check in it was after closing so I didn't get a lot of pics but SERVICE is TOP NOTCH to allow me to quickly purchase after hours I truly appreciated. The banana pudding cup was mmm good but that Strawberry crunch cheesecake pudding was a heavy hitter, that was by far my favorite but I can't speak too soon until I try them all lol. Thank you ladies for the hospitality. I will be back to try more.

Their pastries evoke memories of my maternal aunt, baking coconut tarts and guava jelly rolls on Saturday morning in her Bronx house (Soundview) throughout my childhood in the 1970s. Their fruit cake slices remind me of those baked by my paternal aunt in London, England--moist, flavorful and topped with icing. Some customers in the store were raving about Patmar's meatloaf patties. I must come back and try one. All goods are reasonably priced, and everything comes out quick. The store is reasonably clean, and customer service is top notch.

It was horrible. $45.00 later, I was highly disappointed when I got home.I went there at 4pm on Friday 8-7-26. If the meat wasn't cooked thoroughly, they could have suggested something else. There was no curry, no allspice, overall lackluster!!! Never again will I order cooked food from a bakery. Lesson learned. I have my receipt, if your business would like to refund me. I'm kicking myself for wasting my hard earned money on this establishment. I find that in this economy, just cook your own food at home. I bought my sister a surprise dinner and she agreed that the food fell off, as this was a place that she recommended and held in high esteem. Please check the cook and/or your recipe.
