We were here to celebrate a friend's birthday. We had a party of 8 and everyone enjoyed their dining experience. It was my first time visiting Sugar Factory and I had a great time. My appetizer and entree were hot when they arrived to the table. I enjoyed my menu choices especially the buffalo wings because they are one of my favorite foods. Our server Vivi was absolutely amazing and constantly checked on our table to make sure we were okay. The ambiance of the restaurant is nice. It was decorated for Valentine's Day which was cute. 6/28/26 I had the veggie omelet with sausage links for breakfast. The food was so salty, but the overall experience could have been much better. They definitely need more staff. The line was out the door, we waited about 10 minutes just for someone to take our order, and then another 35 minutes for our breakfast to arrive. My sister ordered a BACON EGG LETTUCE (without the tomato) and said both her sandwich and the home fries were overly salty. The host wasn't very welcoming and came across as rude, which wasn't a great first impression. On the positive side, our waiter was friendly, attentive, and provided good service despite how busy the restaurant was. The food is horrible. I came to this location to celebrate my child's birthday. Sugar Factory is visually appealing for celebrations and photos. The pretty sparkler candle, oversized desserts, and drinks are also nice for special occasions. However, the food I had was terrible, and the menu isn't attractive. It mostly features low-quality items (see the menu) that seem like they were frozen and they just need reheating. The food at Applebee's and TGI Fridays is far better, and I haven't eaten at either in years. Still, I wouldn't recommend this place for a real meal. My bill was nearly $260 for two adults and two kids, with meals consisting of overpriced appetizers and drinks. We opted not to buy entrees because the appetizers were poor in taste and quality. The service was mediocre even with the waiters coming together to serve desert and sing happy birthday. I would not recommend this place to a friend but if you really want to visit Sugar Factory for the vibe or aesthetics I suggest eating beforehand and just ordering desserts and drinks for the celebration. @Sugar Factory! This is my second time being here. I went one time before for brunch. Both times I have found the music to be very loud. It can be hard to hear members of your dining party at times. They kept replaying the same songs. Both times that I dined here there have been numerous birthday gatherings throughout the restaurant. The staff brings out what appears to be ice cream with fire sparklers and sing happy birthday. It's a good place to hold large gatherings of people. We ordered the calamari to start. These did not taste good. They needed more black pepper and some were very chewy. It would make sense to cut up the included peppers instead of providing two whole peppers. They should put a different dipping sauce with them. The marinara sauce did not go well with them and the marinara sauce could be improved upon in general. All of my dinner party ordered the steak frites - 12 oz ribeye with signature fries. The dish also comes with a side Caesar salad, and Hawaiian sweet rolls with a side of cinnamon-honey butter. I ordered my steak medium and it came out medium which I was pleased about. The steak tasted good. Given that we ordered from the steak frites section of the menu I expected for the steak to be pre-sliced but it was not. The Caesar salad was delicious! The croutons weren't hard, which was really nice. The dressing for the salad was great. I wish I got just a Caesar salad for my entree. The fries were good. There are three options for fries: signature; truffle; and Parmesan. I wanted truffle but Emilio stated the restaurant was out of the truffle oil. The rolls and the cinnamon-honey butter were really good also! I loved the roasted cremini mushrooms side. They were seasoned very well. In the past for brunch, I had the steak and eggs which come with home fries and buttered toast. The whole meal was delicious. Would definitely return for this meal. A member of the dinner party ordered the yummy yummy love mimosa and enjoyed it. I ordered the ocean blue margarita. When my drink came I took a sip of it and notified there were random yellow particles floating in my drink and the glassware was broken. I alerted Emilio and he took back the drink and brought me back another one. When I got the drink back I noticed there weren't anymore floating yellow particles in it, which makes me wonder what was in the original drink I was provided. While both drinks were the "same" drink they tasted completely different. It would be nice to see more consistency with the drinks. When I went for brunch before I ordered another drink and I also was not impressed by the flavor of it. For the prices of these drinks they should taste better than they have the past two times I've been here. Our server Emilio, while pleasant, did not really stop by to check on us to see if we enjoyed our meal or if there were any concerns. We spent a good amount of time waiting to place our orders and waiting for him to stop by so we could pay our check. I would ONLY come here for milkshakes/desserts. The food is not great at all. It isn't terrible but extremely basic and lacking. We already know the drinks here are extremely overpriced, but if you are prepared for that and want it for the photos and aesthetic go for it. As for the food, It doesn't matter how it looks, I would never advise to pay hi prices for sub par meals. So, if you're hungry, I say pass...if you live already eaten and want something sweet , this is your spot. Walking into this lavious restaurant I was very pleased on the treatment from the beginning to the end. The hostess was very welcoming as well as the wait staff. I had two huge pancakes without the confectionary sugar or whipped cream. I am a regular degular and I don't need the extras. The extras would spoil my meal. The pancakes were more on the chewable side and a little dry. I also had pork links. That was the only sausage flavor available. The ambiance is casual or dress and the decorum was saturated with pictures galore. It has a lovely decor. We wanted to get out of the heat because it was 100*, the AC wasn't cool enough for me. We had a good brunch. If you like huge slices of powdered French toast! It's a win. We were originally sat at a table closest to the door. The place was practically empty. The waiter who sat us dropped the menus on the table and walked away, never looked back and could not be bothered. I requested to be seated more central to enjoy the ambiance of the restaurant. Another waiter quickly gave us seating more to our liking. The restaurant quickly filled up and it was hard to get attention when we wanted our check, let alone anything else. Too many customers and not enough wait staff. I don't appreciate restaurants that add their tip to the bill. The waiter expressed they would share the tip. Personally, that one who sat me doesn't deserve a tip. Except that he needs to be aware of his lack of care. I would have given a better rating if they didn't have loud dance music pumping in the background. I enjoy all kinds of music and dancing. When I'm eating I'd prefer a more softer dynamic. I'm staying as a guest at the hotel and came down for breakfast. The hostess was very dry, not friendly just seemed to not want to be there. The irony is that she sits as the face of the restaurant and was wearing a disco ball-esque jacket that was far more festive than she was. I asked for her opinion on the chicken and waffles. She didn't have one. I ordered the entree anyway. She ask me to sit to the side while I waited on my meal. I waited and watched someone from the back bring up a bag and leave it on the bar counter and walked away. I didn't think the bag of food was mine because she'd seen me sitting there and didn't bother to bring it to me or tell me to come over and get it. The bag sat at the counter. After about 20 minutes of waiting(10 minutes with the bag on the counter) I asked her to check on my food. She proceeded to turn around and grab the bag from the counter that had been sitting there. I asked them to remake it because I didn't want a soggy waffle that had been steaming in the bag. They agreed but just went back to the kitchen and re-warmed and re-heated the same entree. The lack of attentiveness, customer service, or effort to recovery with integrity is the reason this restaurant's doors will soon close, if there haven't already been talks of it. Sugar Factory as a company is great. I've been to other locations. But the vibes and service here were just awful. Way too early in the morning for your employees to look that miserable. read more

We made a reservation online, but upon arrival, the staff couldn't find it in their system. Luckily, since it wasn't too busy, they were still able to seat us. I've seen countless photos of families bringing their kids to the Sugar Factory, so I thought it would be a fun, kid-friendly outing for my son. Unfortunately, the only thing he really enjoyed was his Cookie Monster milkshake. We ordered sliders and fries for him and his younger brother, but the fries were too hard for a one-year-old, and the burgers had an overwhelming mix of flavors that didn't quite go together. The colorful buns were a fun idea, but my toddler made it clear they weren't a hit. I had the chicken parmesan, which came in a massive portion. The garlic and marinara were very present in every bite--it was good, simple, but not something I'd rave about. You could easily share it with three to four people depending on your appetite. My husband ordered the chicken and waffles, which came with tiny wingettes that looked like they had been air fried. The dish didn't really come together for me, but he enjoyed it. My mother-in-law had a burger with wedge fries, and interestingly, my toddler liked her fries more than the ones that came with his own meal. The ambiance was nice, and there was even a photographer walking around offering printed photos for $25 each. The space is beautiful, fun decor, great vibe, music and TVs going in the background, but nothing too loud to stop you from having a conversation at the table. The food did take a little while to come out, but once it did, it was warm and flavorful. I had the shrimp stir-fry bowl, and my brother-in-law got the chicken. we both really enjoyed our meals. My major critique is that my bowl came with four pieces of shrimp. My sister ordered the salmon, which was tasty but could've used a bit more sauce. Still, if you like simply seasoned grilled salmon, it's a solid choice. My niece is a picky eater, but she was happy with her burger even after taking off half the toppings -- she said it was one of the best burgers she's had, which says a lot. This is a fun restaurant at the casino at Aqueduct Racetrack. . We never heard of it before and had no idea that by Sugar Factory they truly meant ALL THE SUGAR. The pouring of my drink was a show, and it had so many pieces of candy in it I thought I was going to break a tooth. We enjoyed the cheesesteak egg rolls, the grilled mini burgers and the chicken and waffles. I went here for Valentine Day and had previously made reservations for 3:30pm. Around 3:11pm I received a text message from the restaurant saying my table is ready. Mind you this is almost 20 minutes earlier. When I arrived at around 3:25pm and checked in I had to wait for a table. Granted we waited about 15 minutes but still. We were seated and provided menus but wasn't given the Valentine menu until we asked for it. Drinks took forever to come and didnt taste of alcohol. The food came before the drinks. One drink they claimed was sold out but then the lady at the table next to us ordered it and received it. The buffalo wings were good as well as the onion rings and chicken fingers. Me and my work colleagues spotted this restaurant after checking into our hotel rooms. Prior to heading to the casino, we all stopped and grabbed drinks. Sugar Factory sits on the ground floor in between of Hyatt Regency and Resorts World. This spot serves up a wide variety on the menu both food and drinks. I tried the Sugar Factory Rainbow Sliders and the Carne Asada Tacos. They were both fantastic. My tacos had a perfect balance of savory, the meat was tender, and each bite was packed with flavor. Sliders were perfect for sharing and had a nice touch of color for presentation. We all had a variety of drinks, I had a Bloody Mary and a Sundae for dessert. Prices are incredibly reasonable for the quality of the food. While the service is quick and efficient, the atmosphere has that lively night club vibe that makes the experience even better. A photographer was also going around taking table group shots which my table purchased a group photo of all of us. It might have been the jarring contrast with the service we had received in Asia, but the service here was terrible. Brunch at Sugar Factory Solid Comfort Food with a Side of Glam!!! My moms, including my plus stopped by The Sugar Factory in Queens for a late breakfast and overall had a good experience! The vibe here is definitely more Instagram glam with the candy and over-the-top drinks, but we all came in just looking for a solid, classic breakfast and that's exactly what we received. Our waitress was very nice and friendly. I ordered eggs (scrambled), bacon, home fries, and wheat toast. Everything came out hot and cooked just right. The eggs were fluffy, the bacon had a nice crisp without being overdone, and the home fries were seasoned well crispy edges with a soft center. The wheat toast was basic but good. I also got a sample of the country sausage, and I'm glad I did--it was delicious. Juicy and flavorful with a lit bit of that Southern-style spice. Definitely worth ordering a full portion next time. Service was friendly and quick, the place was quiet with soft music (nice). Prices are a bit on the higher side for a diner style breakfast, but you're also paying for the experience, location and aesthetic. For sure, I would definitely come back. I was very disappointed with this restaurant. We made the reservation for a party of 13 way in advance to celebrate a birthday. Upon arriving at 330pm the restaurant was empty. We requested to sit in a lovely background location... there were 3 different spots. Despite the restaurant being empty, they chose to sit us in a location with no background. When asked if we can have another location...they said those spots were already reserved. So, we settled in. To our disappointment, 4 hours later when we were done, all three locations we requested were never occupied. The food itself was decent. However, due to diet preferences, prior to arrival, we previewed the menu online for this location. When the dish was ordered, and the waitress took the order without question to the request, and to our disappointment when the meal was received, it was inaccurate. The only response was, "we do not offer that". There was a lil back and forth, eventually another substitute was provided. The drink menu is inaccurate as well. The "Lady in Pink" drink menu notes it is to change colors before your eyes! Unfortunately, this is false. The response from the waitress, "the bartender may have premixed the drink so it doesn't change". I'm sorry but to pay $20 for drink that is NOT as it says on the menu is deceiving. I would expect them to take it back and remake it so it has that pizazz as advertised!!! Also, I found myself cleaning off excessive cups off the table to make room for the birthday cake that I was told would arrive soon! It wasn't until the manager saw me moving all the cups and plates to the end of the table to make room for the cake that he sent someone over to help!!! This restaurant is expensive!!! But the experience I had at this location negatively impacted my experience with this chain. I got a Groupon deal for the Sugar Factory , I went on Sunday afternoon, treated my kids to lunch and a sweet treat. The simplicity of black , pink and white decor gives a soft clean ambience. The food : we ordered the SF burger and fries Chicken and waffles , Carnival fried Oreo milkshake. The food was good , my son enjoyed the shake it had friend Oreos , silver dollar pancakes and whipped cream. Service was average not above or below. Our bill total was $125 my Groupon was applied , there was a mandatory 20% charge in addition to gratuity. I have mixed feelings about that.
