I think the only reason this place is packed is the ambiance, the decor and TikTok. I can see coming here for the photo ops and the drinks. But the food and the experience is sub par to be kind. How is it the entrees are served 30 minutes apart? That's inexcusable. The drinks also got me sick

I would ONLY come here for milkshakes/desserts. The food is not great at all. It isn't terrible but extremely basic and lacking. We already know the drinks here are extremely overpriced, but if you are prepared for that and want it for the photos and aesthetic go for it. As for the food, It doesn't matter how it looks, I would never advise to pay hi prices for sub par meals. So, if you're hungry, I say pass...if you live already eaten and want something sweet , this is your spot. As far as service , while I enjoyed our server a lot, I wish I remember the gentleman's name. He was amazing and very attentive...the manager was very rude.

Neon lights, pink flower walls, and a Passionfruit Margarita that hits the spot. The burgers and milkshakes I saw passing by? Straight-up iconic. Can't wait to go back! #FoodieVibes #CocktailTime

Walking into this lavious restaurant I was very pleased on the treatment from the beginning to the end. The hostess was very welcoming as well as the wait staff. I had two huge pancakes without the confectionary sugar or whipped cream. I am a regular degular and I don't need the extras. The extras would spoil my meal. The pancakes were more on the chewable side and a little dry. I also had pork links. That was the only sausage flavor available. The ambiance is casual or dress and the decorum was saturated with pictures galore. I loved the chandeliers, it gave a romantic flare along with R&B soft tones pumping faintly in the background, setting moods. ( Playlist pic included). I just sat afterwards just relaxed and enjoying the moments with my plus one. I really just wanted to sit longer and soak it all up but it's not a hangout, so off we go to the casino.

Came here for lunch recently. Decided on the brick chicken and it was delicious and WELL presented! Even though there was a mishap in the kitchen that delayed my order, the food was tasty nonetheless. The waiter Greg was awesome, attentive and accommodating. The hostess was also accommodating and friendly, Ambience was as expected, calm and chill.

This place is a mess. We were told that the rainbow pancakes were sold out but could have regular pancakes; it was obvious the kitchen just didn't feel like doing it. In the photo is the hot chocolate,(see picture and description in menu) our toppings for our pancakes also came out in Dixie sample cups... Suagr Factors is supposed to be an establishment of extravagant foods and the experience was anything but. Not to mention we saw 2 different tables walk out because they hadn't even been brought water. There were only three other tables being actively waited on and two waiters so it's just bad management all together.

Located on the first floor of Resorts World Queens. Free parking. Went here twice already. Nicely decorated based on the season/holiday. A lot of seating; good for big groups. Large menu, pricey but portions for some items are big enough to share. The desserts are good for at least 2, even 3 people like the Chocolate Blackout. Found this out on our first visit so on our next visit (had a gift card), my family and I went for a special occasion Mother's Day and made sure to order a variety of entrees and desserts that we can share.

We made a reservation online, but upon arrival, the staff couldn't find it in their system. Luckily, since it wasn't too busy, they were still able to seat us. I've seen countless photos of families bringing their kids to the Sugar Factory, so I thought it would be a fun, kid-friendly outing for my son. Unfortunately, the only thing he really enjoyed was his Cookie Monster milkshake. We ordered sliders and fries for him and his younger brother, but the fries were too hard for a one-year-old, and the burgers had an overwhelming mix of flavors that didn't quite go together. The colorful buns were a fun idea, but my toddler made it clear they weren't a hit. I had the chicken parmesan, which came in a massive portion. The garlic and marinara were very present in every bite--it was good, simple, but not something I'd rave about. You could easily share it with three to four people depending on your appetite. My husband ordered the chicken and waffles, which came with tiny wingettes that looked like they had been air fried. The dish didn't really come together for me, but he enjoyed it. My mother-in-law had a burger with wedge fries, and interestingly, my toddler liked her fries more than the ones that came with his own meal. The ambiance was nice, and there was even a photographer walking around offering printed photos for $25 each. Our server could've been a bit more attentive; perhaps the automatic 18% gratuity made her feel less inclined to check in. Overall, we likely won't return. The experience didn't quite match the hype, and the taste didn't justify the prices.

Came in with pretty low expectations based on the Yelp reviews, but we were celebrating my niece's 11th birthday, so we decided to give it a shot. The space is beautiful, fun decor, great vibe, music and TVs going in the background, but nothing too loud to stop you from having a conversation at the table. The food did take a little while to come out, but once it did, it was warm and flavorful. I had the shrimp stir-fry bowl, and my brother-in-law got the chicken. we both really enjoyed our meals. My major critique is that my bowl came with four pieces of shrimp. My sister ordered the salmon, which was tasty but could've used a bit more sauce. Still, if you like simply seasoned grilled salmon, it's a solid choice. My niece is a picky eater, but she was happy with her burger even after taking off half the toppings -- she said it was one of the best burgers she's had, which says a lot. The drinks were good. the cocktails had a decent amount of alcohol, and the non-alcoholic ones were sweet and fun for the kids. Overall, for a birthday celebration, it did exactly what we needed it to do. The prices are on the higher side, so I wouldn't come here for a casual night out, but for a special occasion, it works.

This is a fun restaurant at the casino at Aqueduct Racetrack. . We never heard of it before and had no idea that by Sugar Factory they truly meant ALL THE SUGAR. The pouring of my drink was a show, and it had so many pieces of candy in it I thought I was going to break a tooth. We enjoyed the cheesesteak egg rolls, the grilled mini burgers and the chicken and waffles. The portions were huge and we took more than half home so we could try the campfire s'mores cookie skillet which we fought over! Of course I needed a souvenir cup for drinks at home. The servers are friendly but note the tip is already added to your check.

Always passed by this restaurant when I go to resort casino never try the foods. The place was pretty big and got a table right away. We order brunch. There was a photographer who took our pictures if you want to buy the picture with a frame cost $25. The lady took 5 pictures so we bought all 5. The staff and service are pretty good. The foods came pretty slow but it is very big and tasty. Would come back to try new foods

Had the Surf & Turf (Medium Rare and done to perfection) Lobster Tail grilled without making it dry with asparagus and mash potatoes was fully satiated. I ate at the Bar and my Bartender Diego was attentive and a mixologist without question and the Bar is well stocked to accommodate. My only disappointment was I hoping to watch the NFL game but Yahoo making it difficult it seems for biz to show these games.

Nostalgia brews a small local confectionary shop. Suddenly, I am now a five year old little girl…read moreas my eyes are delighted elated with wonderment to see all things chocolate and sweets displayed in the wooden glass case. Surely, my eyes are bigger than my stomach (including wallet). I have always been gravitated to old establishments where there is a long history, period atmosphere decor and the charm. It is family owned and operated since year 1925. Schmidt's Confectionery has been on my Yelp bookmarks for what I felt like an eternity. Previously, I have attempted to patronized during the summer, but it is closed for the summer months partly due the heat and humidity which affects working with ingredients and not optimal temperatures. It is easily accessible via MTA NYC Transit elevated J train on Jamaica Avenue at Woodhaven Boulevard station in Woodhaven, Queens, NYC. However, I walked forty (40) minutes from my home to this business. Upon entering the atmosphere has a redolent chocolate aroma with history and tradition which is intoxicating. There are chocolate lollypops, chocolate covered fruit, nuts, truffles, caramels, but I was hoping for chocolate covered strawberries. I abhor caramel. I despise nuts (despite not allergic). I like truffles. I like thin mints, chocolate covered graham crackers and have a predilection for plain solid milk chocolate. It is run by a woman who is the granddaughter of the founder albeit welcoming and helpful. I would surely return again for chocolate lollypops, chocolate money coins. I do hope Schmidt's have chocolate hearts. At first sight, I could not decide since everything was very enticing and alluring too good. I decided cherry cordials. She shown me a mid-size box of approximately twenty (20) pcs priced $30.00, which I asked if there is a smaller box as a option available followed by she asked if I want either dark, milk or white chocolate type. Oh! Someone who finally listens and heed the hope within my mind, WOW! Customer service is attentive and a personalized shopping experience. She gifted the box with mediocre curling ribbons which I have worked in a high-end retail specialty paper store and trained to use either double-sided satin or organza ribbons - never used curling ribbons. She did distributed a sales receipt. There is a scale if customers were to purchase by the pound. Business cards are available for grabs which is now part of my business card collection in a shoe box. Cherry cordials, box of 8 pcs, $10.00 I was completely sold for this small box. I actually taste the handmade and homemade decadence concoction of milk chocolate. It did tasted fresh and too good to give it away as a gift which I ended up consuming entirely! I delightfully enjoyed my cherry cordials with half a glass of white wine. Wooho! The stems from the cherries are visible. This candy store is certainly reminiscent of earlier times frozen in place. As time is fleeting, I hope Schmidt's Confectionery will continue to operate indefinitely.

Heat wave to start summer 2025 in New York City!…read more Immediately following lunch nearby in Ozone Park, Queens, New York City, it was essential for me to attain something cold to cool down on a extreme heat advisory alert day. Italian icee! This business is a walk-up window kiosk as there is very limited outdoor seating - rain or shine. There is absolutely no indoor seating. I sat on their outdoor bench to consume my little Italian ice because I could not continue to trek home in the oppressive extreme heat high temperature. My trusty Yelp mobile application takes my foodie travels to Mike's Italian Ices as the nearest Italian ice business. I requested strawberry flavor as my choice of Italian ice and it was full of ice, but insufficient flavor. The flavor was very weak as I tasted mostly water from the ice. The ice as the base ingredient is not completely crushed. Near the bottom of my one small scoop $4.00 it became a small block of ice which is the same kind found in a frozen ice pop purchased in a supermarket. I remember eating a lot of frozen ice pops as a child purchased from supermarkets, but I don't like it. Not my cup of tea. Customer service is average the young male staff managed to muster a smile through the extreme heat. I had to flag to capture an associate's attention for service. I believe the employees are students working the summer months as pocket money. My sales receipt states cherry as my chosen flavor, but in truth it is strawberry. I am glad I decided on small size as I cannot stomach eating water and ice for either medium or large size icee. I certainly will not purchase either a medium or large cup of Italian ice nor ice cream for any possible return visits. The menu is affixed to their door, no vexatious large television monitors hanging overhead.
