Our goal was to minimize demo and retain the basic layout. Jackson developed a design that encompassed new cabinets, countertops, fixtures, lighting, and mirrors as well as demo and rebuild of the shower and tub area, including shower wall tile, floor tile, and glass enclosure. His vision for the look, feel, and color scheme were spot on. He accompanied us as we shopped for cabinetry and fixtures, and brought samples of tiles and other items for in-home consultations. He made the decision-making process so easy for us - when we'd be debating between two or three options, he'd weigh in and he was always right! Jackson also guided us through a full rebuilt of our staircase. He found a wonderful contractor and helped us select the style and details. It has truly transformed the look of the house. We enlisted the design services of AndrinaPaladin Designs for the complete renovation of our…read moreoriginally traditional New England style, single-level beach house, into a contemporary, open, light and airy living space. The remodel included removal of a kitchen/dining room wall to provide an open concept, and the removal of a central double-sided fireplace to open the living room area. A new fireplace was installed, dated soffits were removed, ceilings were modified, skylights added and both bathrooms were completely gutted and remodeled. During the entire process Andrina demonstrated exceptional professionalism. She kept the project moving and more importantly, us on track and on budget by working with us to make literally over a hundred decisions ranging from material selections (paint, stain, stone, tile, glass, etc.), to hardware selection.
